I bought several items including cheese and tomato bagel. However although I paid for the bagel with my other items, the serving woman did not put it in my bag. Theft!

Super great staff and lovely coffee - I often visit for me and friends. A wonderful part of the little “Belsize Village” I’ll be back

A timely stop on a walk from Hampstead into central London. The warm atmosphere and the inviting village location made this an ideal spot for a restorative afternoon coffee and cake, both of which were welcome. We opted for the mini Danish pastries selection, creative and tasty, alongside excellent coffee. Regretfully, value for money did not hit the same mark at £1.75 per very mini pastry, and the automatic addition of a 'tip' should really go down as a service charge. The bagels would tempt us back, probably as a take-away.

I remember years ago I used to pop down to this delicatessen on my lunch break and get the most amazing sandwiches made up with any ingredients you liked. Unfortunately it doesn’t exist anymore and you now have a bagel cafe. I live a short walk away and thought I’d impress a guest with a tasty breakfast, unfortunately that did not happen. My freshly squeezed orange juice was watered down. Full English, I wanted to swap the eggs and tomato for a sausage or bacon something any other cafe would and will do. Not here though, the waiter suggested I get a chicken and avocado bagel instead. We left without eating, won’t be returning.

The bread made by Roni's is amazing. We get two loaves every Friday. It's delicious when hot and fresh from the oven, and our weekend breakfasts wouldn't be the same without challah toast. Strongly recommend for bagels and birthday cakes too. Always a warm welcome when I come in. Lovely place.

We were glad to find this place open on a Monday lunchtime when other restaurants were closed. The take away area is huge. The chairs looked uncomfortable but when I was sitting I was quite comfortable. The toilet is conveniently ground floor. Black decor. How do you know if the place is clean? But I liked the pomegranate washing gel. Food The chicken soup was filling. My main course salt beef on rye bread, had large slices of bread. From the large take away area we bought smoked salmon. Service Service was willing but not fast We asked for tap water and had to ask again. One meal did not arrive. The server later explained that the kitchen had made a mistake and had to re-cook it.

Bought Babka, not cheap. Hideously stale and dry, embarrassing to serve at afternoon tea. Wish I’d gone to Karma in South End Green

I ve been a recurring customer for years, however lately I feel extremely disappointed. First of all, the wait for food is incredibly long. It takes them a good half an hour to make a cappuccino. Second of all, when it comes to food, the quality has become drastically worse. I ordered Greek breakfast today and the plate didn’t have the ingredients, which were outlined in the menu. There wasn’t labneh on my plate, they literally rubbed a bit of it around the perimeter of the plate to make it seem like it was there lol. There was barely any in fact. Not too sure whether that’s happening because of rising food costs and they are trying to save on everything. When I asked to change it, it took them another half an hour. Thirdly, the women’s bathroom is extremely dirty. I am not going to go into any detail on that. Not sure I want to come back any time soon, which is a shame, because I have been a customer for years.

This place is overpriced, has an untidy/dirty appearance and food is average at best. Had a cappuccino which came as a wet latte, and a cheesecake which didn’t taste fresh and they didn’t remove the plastic foil around it. Price was so high that I asked for the receipt to check whether they accidentally charged for something else. But they hadn’t.

Good coffee! Nice atmosphere. Pastries are always good and my daily trip in the morning for my morning coffee is a great start to the day.

The staff are poorly trained and in general unwilling. They are unfamiliar with the product range when asked. They cannot explain what the salads ingredients are, and should explain that the salads contain no seasoning or dressing . The bag of mixed bagels contained one sesame bagel, the remainder onion plaetzels which were over cooked and covered in burned rehydrated onion flakes. Have eaten here a few times but better food to be had on Haverstock Hill.

This must have been the fourth of fifth time we have visited Roni's. It has fresh food, great service and is set in a charming market square. If you are running low on anything e.g bread you can buy it from their deli section and you won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend visiting Ronis next time you are in the Belsize park area.

I had an iced coffee whilst I looked at the menu it arrived in a plastic take away cup and lid, which I thought was strange but didn't question it at the time. I noticed that the meals were being served on plastic plates and even the wine in plastic glasses. When I asked about the use of plastic I was told it was due to Covid and that it was more hygienic! I need to stress the waiter was lovely, really good. However, I let him know that we would not be ordering as I didn't want to support a business that used so much single use plastic. I queried why not just wash the dishes and use sanitizer (which was freely available) he was unsure of the decision making in relation to this policy. Fortunately for me, I took myself off for a lovely alfresco meal opposite where plastic was hot in the menu!

I have been coming to wind down at work for some time, and Nero's is my favourite of the coffee chains. At times, some of the staff have been a bit curt, bit it is busy. Recently bought a cortado - usually served in next cup up from the expresso cup. This came in an expresso cup with the explanation of "That's how we sell them." This was done when I had a couple of minutes to spare and there was a fair queue. I couldn't complain without inconveniencing me and other customers. Whilst the staff member in question may get a bit of a laugh here and save .0000000021p, they won't be getting my custom again. I would advise others to relax elsewhere in the Holborn area.

Their almond croissants are that hard I almost lost my teeth. Clearly hadn’t been checked by staff before selling, you practically have to take a mortgage out to pay for Gail’s pastries anyway, so this isn’t good enough.

I love getting my coffee from this place when the Origin Coffee is overcrowded. It is quite good for some caffeine grab.

They do a high volume of business due to the many travelers, so it is somewhat chaotic. But the food is consistently good.
