Rominos Pizza in Sunderland

I have been going here for quite some time now, I refuse to get my pizza anywhere else. The food is phenomenal and the service is excellent, the staff always go above and beyond everytime we order. Couldn't ask for a better takeaway.

This place is a scam, you can check their website or their leaflets and they will still *overcharge* you for what the items price is, they will send you the wrong food and try to argue with you and hang up the phone on you. They also do not even give you a chance to submit your complaint and they will also hang up the phone on you because they do not wantb to correct their mistakes. After ordering from this place multiple times before, I got something completely different and they tried to say they were selling it like that for the past year which is a lie. If that is how it ws I would've not bought it again, that is simple. Absolutely terrible service please do not waste your money here, the chips are hard and possibly made out of cardboard. (Well that's what they tasted like anyway) If you want to enjoy something I would recommend ordering from literally anywhere else. Thank for listening to my complaint.

I'm sure I can't be the only person using Rominos and they are too good, to not pass any comment. Their chicken kebabs are enormous and come with donner kebab meat as well as delicious chicken. Value is good as is the service. I'm the last person to say that portions are too large but when you are trying to cut down, it precludes us from ordering more often.

I would be quite happy to have their Chicken Kebabs with an extra pitta bread and a lot more salad. Instead, the beautifully marinated, good sized portion of Chicken, is accompanied with a similarly sized portion of Donner Kebab meat; which though very tasty, is far too much and makes the healthy Chicken Kebab, a lot more unhealthy. The healthy salad portion is very small and the one Pitta bread is insufficient. We end up having to order extra Pittas and salad but could easily do without the Donner meat. The best format is:- good Chicken, a decent sized salad, two Pittas and two sauces. That would be perfect. Just a suggestion.

I am very pleased that we tried Rominos. Our meal was by far the best we have had in the last few weeks. The extra large chicken kebabs were as stated and beautifully marinated. They were also very reasonably priced at £6:50. They come with a choice of salad or chips and a choice of sauce and one pitta bread. We ordered an extra pitta each and 2 side salads. Our food arrived on time and also came with a tray of donner meat each. I'm not sure if it was supposed to include that of if that was a complementary extra. Whichever, it was very nice and really tasty. Our son had his usual half pound cheeseburger with salad and a separate portion of chips. That was also most impressive. We are now stuffed after finishing our mountainous plates of food. This will become our regular haunt, providing standards remain the same. Our thanks to the staff for their hard work, which is appreciated more than ever in these difficult times.
