Wonderful Italian restaurant, lots of options and the portions are pretty large. Excellent service and their garlic bread is a must try .

Nipped in for a pre theatre deal. Great value, 50 quid for 2 people 2 courses and a bottle of wine. Very quick service food was tasty and well portioned.

Nice spacious restaurant, really friendly staff and good food at very reasonable prices, especially the pre theatre menu.

Lack of communication and hustled out quite quickly. Ordered peroni and got water!!. Didn't have the cheesecake they had advised me of so they just gave me something else without asking. Constantly at the table asking if it was OK which was annoying. Cleared the table really quickly which gave me the impression they didn't want us to stay too long. Food was OK and pleasant atmosphere.

Been here quite a few times. The girls got carbonara and dessert. I prefer a mix of starters and a side (mushrooms in a white sauce and mussels in a white sauce which comes with garlic bread). I also got a side of chips, I keep forgetting to tell them no salt, they always come heavily salted to the point I end up not eating them but my friend did. We got soft drinks x1 each.

My wife and I were there tonight before going to the theatre and it was amazing they were very welcoming service was first class and food was delicious. Thanks we had an amazing time

I went here for my birthday dinner with my wife. Booked it on 5pm deal. Staff acknowledge this straight away. Got a lovely table brought out our wine and asked if we wanted some water. We ordered starters and an amazing steak. I had the Diane sauce which was amazing and my wife had the red wine sauce. I would defo go back. Tip is already put on your bill. The 5pm deal was 2 course Sunday to Wednesday with a bottle of wine £49.25. Thank you

Relatively small portion sizes for starters, main was Carbonara, menu outside advertises Italian style as an option (taken by me to mean whipped egg and cheese congealed onto the pasta as opposed to cream sauce) but upon asking for this was provided with a watery version of cream Carbonara, the waiter was perfunctory but replaced it with an average creambonara without fuss. The atmosphere was very good though, nice decorations and aesthetic.

Atmosphere ok food not bad but then we relised that chef is working in dirty jumper and tracksuit. Chef of the establishement belly is comming out from t-shirt and we were lucky not to go out with food poisioning .

Beware of expensive add ons!! The portions are decently sized but the food is so extremely bland. I had the chicken carbonara and the chicken tasted old and chewy. The carbonara had no taste at all and I had to heavily salt it to make it edible. The pollo al Pepe and the steak were so average for the prices we were paying. The garlic bread also had no taste whatsoever. The cocktails were delicious but often the food would come before the drinks. However the staff were nice and the atmosphere was cute. Such bad value for money as the prices were absolutely extortionate!!

Oh dear, oh dear, after giving a 5 star review at my previous visit, we wanted to revisit, this was not a good idea, the food I had ordered was a calzone, when it was served it look great, however after eating almost a third of the meal, I noticed that the filling was stone cold in the middle, I highlighted this to the waiter who took the meal away. This calzone contained chicken and I and concerned that if the chicken was not cooked properly that it may give me potentially food poisoning. I requested something different as I didn't feel I could trust another calzone. When we had all finished, I proceded to pay the bill and to my astonishment there was no adjustment made. I would have thought that there would be something by the way of an apology, he offered to remove the price of £1.00 for a topping. I said it wasn't the money, please do not discount. Paid the bill in full and left. Unfortunately will not be back.

This is the first time me and my friend was in there it was so good on all levels I will go back.

First time visit to Roma Mediterranean Restaurant and was actually surprised at how big it is inside. It's a bit like a Tardis! Hadn't booked but there were plenty of tables available. Nice decor and the atmosphere was pretty good. Nice little booths where you can sit and chat easily without being overpowered by noise from elsewhere. Food was all good and very tasty. The only downside for me was the automatic addition of a 10% gratuity to the bill. I usually like to decide for myself if the service was worthy of a tip. Overall though I would recommend it as the food was really nice. 👍🏻

Excellent business lunch here on the 9th Aug 2023, the food was freshly prepared and came quickly , the lunch menu was a little limited but i suppose to be expected when you are only covering lunchtime crowd. the restaurant is bright and spacious too .The staff were very attentive and special mention has to go to our waiter Luca, who dealt with 5 very hungry and demanding ( dietary needs) patrons with professionalism and humour. we would definitely use Roma again and have no problem recommending it

Think maybe our first visit since Pandemic, maybe. We booked and always found we used to have no issue even without. In light of how things are though I would suggest booking especially if a group of you going. We only ordered food and soft drinks. They offer the pre theatre/lunch menu which is really good value.No waiting about, straight to our table, the staff are really friendly, helpful and polite.I ordered from the main menu, risotto and cheesy garlic bread. Lovely however a small complaint would be I wish they didn't pre pepper the food. I cannot cope with pepper but totally forgot to ask. You get salt and pepper on tables so I wish it would be left to the diner to add pepper should they wish. My only other wee thing of note, the toilets are super clean and smell very fresh however on route to them, through the door there was a really strong smell of cigarette smoke, no idea why/where from.Very nice food, good variety, staff lovely, recommend xxx

You get what you pay for I guess. Service was slow, not enough staff, don't see a reason to return here

Had my dinner here today with my daughter,i ordered the Pollo Milanese,it sounded pretty tempting by how the menu described it,i got Spaghetti instead of Penne and no decor with the parsley (lol),Arrabbiata was tasty and spicy but well under seasoned and for sitting outside dining the plates could've been a bit warmer,other than that it was enjoyable,big shout out to the waitresses,they were fab and very attentive.

Thus is our third visit and food was amazing with friendly staff. The best italian I have ever had, great value for money 😁

Visité hoy, después de tener una excelente comida el sábado pasado. Éramos las únicas 2 personas en el restaurante y durante toda la comida tuvimos que escuchar a una de las camareras hablar con el banco de los propietarios por altavoz sobre tomarse unas vacaciones de pago adicionales. No podía creer que algo tan privado se hiciera tan público y tan ruidoso que no pudiéramos disfrutar de nuestra comida. Diciendo que la comida y el servicio fue decepcionantemente pobre y no al nivel del sábado. La gente sale para relajarse y olvidarse de sus problemas, ponerse al día unos con otros. . . . No podía pensar con claridad y encontré toda la experiencia miserable, ya que eras tan ruidoso que no podía concentrarme para mantener una conversación. Fue idea mía ir allí y tuve que disculparme. Tenga un poco de consideración con sus clientes que no vienen a comer para escuchar sus problemas. . . . ¡Todos lo estamos pasando mal!

my absolute favourite restaurant in Glasgow! The food is amazing (especially the bruschetta) portions are generous and the staff are friendly and attentive 😊 10/10 couldn’t recommend this place enough

Comimos aquí anoche el 7 de septiembre, fuimos con dos niños pequeños, el menú para niños es bueno y las comidas eran deliciosas, todos en nuestro grupo tenían comidas diferentes y todos las disfrutamos, no tenía hambre, así que tomé la sopa que estaba muy buena, el servicio era bueno y la factura no era muy cara, encontré otro restaurante al que ir cuando esté en Glasgow

Las comidas eran muy deliciosas, nos encantaron nuestros entrantes y platos principales, pero desafortunadamente la tarta de queso de fresa no tenía fresa y era absolutamente sosa, así que no la comimos. Personalmente, el servicio nos pareció deficiente, pero estaban ocupados esa noche, lo cual entendemos. Cuando el restaurante empezó a calmarse, el servicio seguía siendo muy lento. Lo que más me irritó fue que uno de los camareros no usaba máscara (lo cual está bien) pero no necesitaba inclinarse tan cerca de mi plato y hablar dadas las circunstancias actuales. Encontré esto increíblemente incómodo. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante por su comida, tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio. Si está buscando una comida tranquila para relajarse, diría que es un restaurante muy ruidoso y animado. Las mesas y las grandes fiestas cerca de nosotros fueron ruidosas durante toda la noche y fue insoportablemente ruidoso y nos desanimó de poder comer en paz.

Fuimos a Glasgow el sábado 22 de agosto, buscábamos un buen restaurante para comer algo, después de unas copas, en bares cercanos, intentamos entrar a otro restaurante antes, pero nos dijeron que solo estaban llevar a personas que habían reservado mesa. Caminamos un poco por la calle y nos encontramos con esta pequeña joya de restaurante. Todo el personal era increíble y agradable, y todo el restaurante era muy agradable y limpio. Habíamos pedido entrantes, que compartimos, la bruschetta era increíblemente sabrosa y el houloumi también era muy agradable. Me encanta la pasta, así que comí los macarrones que me encantaron, deben haber sido los mejores macarrones que he probado en mi vida, y mi pareja comió un plato de espagueti con pollo y chile, que también disfrutó mucho, aunque los chiles estaban extremadamente calientes para ella. En general, ambos tuvimos una comida excelente, servida por un personal excelente, y recomendamos encarecidamente este restaurante y les damos las mejores calificaciones por todo. .

After humming and arghhing over were to eat, we opted for italian. So we booked. Not that it was needed as we was eating here early afternoon. Food was lovely, wine was nice. And staff were polite and attentive. Will definatley be returning.

We were party of 6 already pre-booked dinner and the waiter had really bad attitude that we left before ordering.

Ate at Roma last night. Very satisfied. The food was really good and plenty of it. The staff were very attentive and the waitress who dealt with our table was a joy. We would not hesitate to return.

No hay lugar para los postres terminados nuestro Prosecco en su lugar. Veredicto general fabuloso y no puedo esperar para volver?

Looked good on the website, menu looked good. When I went to eat there were a handful of people already there. Unfortunatly one of the diners decided he would treat the entire restaurant to the football on his phone at full volume. I didn't come here to listen to the football, I came to relax and eat. I'd have gone to the pub otherwise. You could say this is not the fault of the restaurant, but they weren't doing anything to discourage this. In fact staff were coming out and chatting with him. So I left and spent my money elsewhere.

I really recommend this restaurant is really great place ,when you need good food and atmosphere, we are very enjoyed the time. Is always great food.100 % we back again Thank You so much again.

I come to Glasgow a lot on business, and have tried many of the Italians in GLA City Centre, but Roma Mediterranean is my all time favourite! The prices are fair and the portions are always generous. Staff are very pleasant and always take care of me till I leave. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Visited this restaurant on many occasions. Definitely our favourite place to eat in Glasgow. Staff and friendly attentive and helpful. Food is absolutely delicious. Could not find fault with anything we have ever eaten. Great choice on their variety of menus. Excellent choice on the drinks menu.

A mid range restaurant that serves pretty good food. We had the fixed price menu, £15.95 for three courses. Minestrone was good, mozzarella sticks and bruschetta were excellent. My main course was lasagne, it didn’t have any bechamel, they used layers of mince and alternate layers of a thick, dry tomato sauce. It didn’t give me an authentic taste. The other 2 mains were well received, and the sweets were excellent. Not bad for the price. Overall, it’s good for what it is.

Came here before a concert at Celtic Connections as reviews were not bad. However no-one was very impressed (except by the mussels in beer...they were delicious) I had traditional carbonara (they offer trad or with cream sauce) and husband had the other one (though he orderd the trad as well but we were running out of time to get it changed.) Dry, greasy and actually pretty tasteless. I make this myself so I know how it should be and this was not it. Couldn;t eat nearly all of it as it was like eating a bowl of plain, oily pasta. Husbands one was almost exactly the same except more greasy with cream! One of our party had the mushroom starter; 3 breadcrumbed mushrooms! he also had a chicken dish which looked like a couple of grey insoles with sauce....he said it wasn't very great...and it also wasn't much food!

We were looking for somewhere to have a quick bite to eat before visiting a show at the Pavilion last Saturday. we ordered the olives and bruschetta platter for starter and pizza pasta jimmys style for main course. service was prompt and efficient and food was lovely. will be back again soon!!

Two course lunch haggis bon bons got two chicken stripes overcooked not too warm fish and chips spaghetti bolognes which was basically dried mince and spaghetti. Complained paid in full left no tip. Picture of what was left

We were at your restaurant on Saturday evening for a birthday meal which we had planned through 5pm and just want to congratulate you on the service we received from start to finish! We were greeted promptly and sat at our table on time, this was really appreciated as we were on a rather tight time schedule. The ambience and comfort of your restaurant was paired with good quality food which in itself would have got rave reviews from us. What really set your restaurant apart from others we have visited was our waitress Renee, she is definitely your company’s biggest asset! From the get go she was chatting with us and making sure we were well informed on everything you had to offer she really does go above and beyond! When my sister told her that she was going to Renee’s native California next week she was only too happy to take time and discuss things to do whilst she is there, not only that she actually took the time to write it all down which was just so nice and definitely going the extra mile!! We had such a good time and will definitely be back many more times to come!! Thank you Renee and Roma you made our night very special!

I booked a table for 2 for Christmas Day. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had an extra guest. My mother in law. I telephoned the restaurant, giving them very short notice, and they were very happy to accommodate . We arrived promptly and, though the restaurant was very busy, we were seated at a nice booth almost immediately. The service on such a busy day was quite quick. A very pleasant waiter took our drinks order and, though he and the other staff were obviously very busy and rushed off their feet, he took the time to wish us a Merry Christmas and made us feel very welcome. My wife and I had the pate, delicious and my mother in law had bruschetta. Which she said was very nice. My mother in law chose roast beef and my wife and I had the turkey. All first class. Very juicy meat. Lovely. My wife had the profiteroles and mother in law and I had tiramisu to finish. All of it lovely. To finish it all off I had a brandy. For it being Christmas Day the staff were a joy. Very good service, all done with a smile and a little chat. Well done to all at Roma. We shall definitely be back. ( Probably without the mother in law.).

Ate here on Xmas Day. 3 courses for £40. The restaurant was very busy so i’m glad we had booked and paid a small deposit. Anyway the food was very good and the service was good given how busy the restaurant was. We all had pizza for our mains but the other dishes looked good on being served. I had no complaints at all and would happily recommend to anyone for next year.

Great food and prices. Roma has a happy, busy atmosphere. The staff were attentive, catering for all ages in our party, including those with disabilities. Cocktails and mocktails were brilliant. A happy, stress free Christmas Day. Thank you to all the staff.

Pre Theatre menu in late December. All good no complaints. Service top notch. Food really good. 2 rounds of drinks and food for under £150 (which included tip). Great value.

I visited Roma afew nights ago and despite it being busy we had a brilliant night, friendly staff, tasty food, live music, what more could you want for a Christmas night out?? Lol hope to be back after the new year x

Visited yesterday for works Christmas day out. Starters were fine and everyone felt very positive about the restaurant until the main meals came.

I came here as part of work Christmas lunch. I had lentil soup to start & I didn’t enjoy it at all. Didn’t taste like lentil soup & bread I got was stale. My colleagues got haggis balls & it was quite small portion of only 2 balls. The turkey dinner for main was much better.

Had lunch with friends. Menu looked and sounded Italian, so ordered bruschetta parma ham. Heavy bread soaked in olive oil and a slither of ham...boring and bland.

Visité con amigos, sin embargo, fui a un restaurante griego por error. . . Para ser sincero, hubiera sido mejor quedarme allí. Mi comida no me impresionó, aunque para ser justos, mis amigos disfrutaron de la suya. Tenía un plato de pasta, pero no creo que el agua hubiera sido salada, las cebollas parecían pálidas casi como si hubieran sido hervidas, deberían haber tenido chile y ajo, pero tenían un sabor suave. El entrante estaba bien y el pudín de caramelo y helado pegajoso era encantador.

Renee is the one to request when you arrive! Outstanding service, wonderful attitude and amazing knowledge of the food, the area, and her brilliance only adds to the best Italian food in town! I would add some photos, but we started eating before I thought about it! Awesome desserts, too.

Spacious restaurant with excellent food and service, the prices and choice were both good. Central so ideal if doing a theatre trip.

My family and I had a really pleasant experience at Roma recently. The restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside and is very nicely decorated. We all especially liked the light shades and the Roman type murals on the walls.

Ate here as part of a large group. They coped brilliantly with the large numbers (and with our singing)! Food was excellent and staff very welcoming and attentive.

Had a lovely meal at Roma Restaurant tonight with my partner. We were sceptical at the beginning because the prices were so cheap (£12.95 for a 2 course pre-theatre meal) but we were pleasantly surprised!

Decided to have food in Glasgow after been out shopping, went on to a discount site for deals and Roma came up. It was very busy on a Saturday night but staff coped well. We had pre theatre menu which had a reasonable selection of starters and mains, good enough for the price. Quality of food was not great and don’t think I would return for a romantic night out, not that kind of venue.

We had the pre theatre meal on a Saturday night. The restaurant was extremely busy but the staff were very efficient and the food arrived promptly. A good sized glass of very pleasant house wine was included in our deal. The food was delicious - I had sea bass which was beautifully cooked and a decent portion.

Last night we came to Roma without a booking and it was so really very busy..! We had to stay for sometime till we got a table. It was worth waiting!!! Amazing food and really good service..! They had alot of choices on the menu. The manager took time to talk to every table possible. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Roma. Would visit again.

Good-sized restaurant that was quiet on a Tuesday evening. A full range of Italian dishes available. We enjoyed our Penne Rustica and Tagliatelle with Shrimp and Asparagus. Nice selection of wine and beer.

We stopped of here for lunch after finding it when on our way to the theatre. They offered a good lunch time menu and a wide selection of drinks. Food was of good quality and hot. Staff were friendly. We would return again.

Yesterday I, my wife and two friends visited this restaurant for Dinner and we were not disappointed. It was busy but we got shown a table no problem. All the menu's on offer were very good value for money and had loads of options. We opted for the Lunch menu. We ordered Starters ranging from Mussell's, Mozarrella Sticks and garlic mushroom offering, all were well presented, ample portion and tasty! For mains we had Steak pie, Spaghetti and the Roma burger which was exquisite! All in all a worthwhile visit and decent prices along with excellent service!

Went for the two course lunch. Fantastic food , great service. Reasonably priced. Been a few times and never been let down.
