Pizza was edible but the risotto with mushrooms and the garlic bread were unedited, the garlic bread was warm but not cooked and when I asked for a cooked garlic bread they said it will burn? And the risotto was a sloppy mess and tasteless when I didn't eat it and sent a full plate of food back they didn't even question it, the staff were more interested in play fighting like children, discussing place for Leicester Square

Pizza dough like a sponge soft and fluffy, soaked greasy in the middle impossible to eat. Old dirty flowers like from a cemetery on the dirty tables. The customer service of front house Supervisor just like the decor from 30 years ago very bad. You are for them not opposite. They only count on one-time customers, Pay full and dont come back. Don't recommend!

Do not eat here. Ordered a pizza with about 3inches of cold congealed cheese on top cold chicken and cold sauce had clearly been sat around and attempted to be heated up. Worst pizza I have ever had. How I didnt get sick is beyond me.

Rude staff and cold food, avoid. Food arrived cold after waiting 40 minutes. Staff were not interested and behaved like it was our fault. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend at all

Absolutely shocking customer service. I genuinely never complain, but the food was at best average, for our party of 8. One of our group didn’t get their food when the rest were eating. When we asked, the waiter was extremely dismissive and didn’t apologise. A dish was brought quite swiftly, but unfortunately was stone cold. They proceeded to take the food away to warm it up. It was pleasant but everyone else in the party had already finished, which obviously isn’t nice for the lone eater. This kind of spoilt our evening plans. The staff did not seem concerned at all. Sorry but based on this visit, I would not recommend this place. I also think the “service charge “ should not be enforceable, when the service is actually nonexistent and downright rude , or if you feel it’s terrible, you shouldn’t have to reward dreadful service.

Very slow service. Had to wait a long time to order food which took even longer to come out. People arrived after us and ordered/finished food before us. Food came out cold. Spaghetti sauce was very plain and tastless. Chicken from the freezer. Overcharged. Very pricey for quality of food. Didn't want to pay service charge after bad service, and was told by the waiter that is was compulsory as it was mentioned on the menu. Very rude staff who had no basic customer service skills. Definitely DON'T recommend. Never visiting again.

We were served poor quality food which was only just warm. The toilets were dirty and unacceptable with broken toilet seats and filthy floors. We will definitely not be returning to Bar Roma.

Do not eat here, ordered 2x arribata spaghetti a starter and garlic bread, happy for all to be at the table at the same time, we had initially said a spaghetti bolognaise, but changed our mind as husband decided to just having a starter, his arrived and was cold, 2 x arrabiata then arrived followed with a spaghetti bolognaise, which we sent back as we had changed our mind and this had been cancelled at the point of ordering. The garlic bread then turned up which was then garlic bread and cheese, not what was ordered, also cold and not what was ordered. Then the waiter came out and argued with us, telling us that the garlic bread and cheese was far superior and more expensive and we were getting it at the same price of the garlic bread, duhhhh, didn’t want that, also spaghetti was the most tasteless insipid Italian ever, Avoid

We order three meals two were ok the third fish and chips dreadful. Packet frozen battered cod not nice. Do not go if you require fish dishes.

Visited for first time yesterday. Ordered a starter and main even stating I wanted it first but after short wait it came along with the main course!! For an Italian restaurant the food was average. I had spaghetti Bolognese was not offered any cheese to go on top, and have had better which I found dissapointing. Plate collected and not offered a dessert menu or asked if anything else required. Enough said

Grateful they could accommodate a family at such a busy time. Tried to order a kids pizza for my 5yr old son and was told that the pizza would be too big for him. Said it’s fine but waitress kept suggesting he shouldn’t have it. Again we said it was fine. Food arrived about 10mins after ordering which was very quick of cooking properly. Wife’s was stone cold as though it hadn’t been in the microwave long enough and why would it be being microwaved anyway? My son’s pizza didn’t even turn up. The other waitress questioned whether we had ordered anything and when she investigated found his pizza hadn’t even been ordered. So, daughter and I had eaten our food by the time my wife’s and son’s did. Asked waitress if there’s anything that could be done about the bill. She said she won’t charge for the wife and son’s dinner. When the bill arrived nothing had been removed as she was expecting the two of us to eat our meals and leave. Claimed she couldn’t adjust the bill. Asked to speak to the manager and was told no-one was available. Eventually came back saying had taken son’s pizza off and would charge half the cost of wife’s meal. Ended up with a £55 bill. I could have bought four ready meals from a supermarket and a microwave to cook it in and would have had the same satisfaction in a meal and a microwave to show for it too. Overall, very disappointing.

Popped in for a cocktail n coffee, the cocktail was presented in a cheap glass n had no resemblance to picture on menu. After going to pay, the waitress said my card was declined n to try another, I said there was plenty of money on card and she tried again, I found it very embarrassing and when I said after several times it was a connection problem which showed on my receipt she went off n brought another card machine back, but wasn’t apologetic at all, I told her to to remove service charge as was humiliated in front of all the other diners, she then put card machine in front of me n never even looked at me. Rude isn’t the word, on hinghtsight I shouldn’t have even entertained paying until someone who had some decency came forward, I would totally avoid this place!!

We’ve been visiting London for 10 years through work and pleasure and it’s possibly the worst meal I’ve ever tried to eat. You shouldn’t need a steak knife for bruschetta, you shouldn’t have raw pasta with Bolognese, pizza topping shouldn’t be sloppy and the wine shouldn’t be worse than the balsamic vinegar. Go next door. They seem lovey. It’s a shame - you pay your money, you take your chance - it wasn’t our night.

Great service, food, views! Daniel gave us such a super welcome and we often return here. Superb spot on the Campo. Fab views over the square. Food is really great. Highly recommended. We’ve tried several spots on the square and come back to here all the time!

We had a very nice evening in this restaurant . The food was delicious and the place was beautiful..
