Little Italy in City of London, Westminster

We came here last friday with our two children for dinner. We were travelling from dublin for a family wedding. Neil looked after us so well. He was very welcoming and friendly. Ous son said pizza was best ever. All food was delicious.

Amazing, charming staff and fantastic food. We were given bruschetta and pizza garlic bread as appetisers and when my friend said she couldn’t eat garlic they brought her some without. Great, fresh pasta and salads

What a brilliant find. Superb food - and I mean superb!!! Great service. Fabulous location - great to people watch. Excellent value for money. Will be back for sure.

Opposite Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, this restaurant and it's coffee bar next door is a true delight. Start (or finish) your experience in the coffee bar, the décor needs to be seen to be appreciated and the coffee is as you might expect excellent. We visited for an anniversary meal on a Sunday lunchtime. The service and the food were excellent. The bread and the arancini to start almost made me cancel the main course and ask for another two portions of these instead. The lemon sole and gnocchi where excellent. The service was attentive but not overbearing or rushed. For a really good authentic Italian meal, this must be the place to go.

The worst meal ever. We had pizza Margherita and a bacon cheeseburger. Pizza was okish, nothing special, but the burger was just made out of a pre-made meat from Asda or Lidl. No sauce, tough burger, strange taste. And the staff didn’t really care about guests.

There was a large group of us eating from the set menu, and to say the least I was very disappointed with my meal and the appearance of others. We had the shared starters, which were delicious and much enjoyed. However, when it came to my main, (mushroom risotto) I was very disappointed. Not only did it look like gruel, it didn’t taste great. I’ve made risotto and I’m well aware of its consistency and texture. I made a point of looking at other peoples meals and to be honest, they didn’t look appetising. I would have been very disappointed if I’d paid for the food I’d ordered, however this was a business event and paid for by the company. I would come back to try the A La Carte menu to see if there was an improvement, but I was so disappointed given the reviews I’d read 😕 On the plus side, the staff did well to serve everyone at the same time, drinks were flowing and the disco afterward was great!

This is one of my all time favourite restaurants in London. It is very close to several theatres and the food is excellent, the service is both efficient and charming making it the perfect place to go to lunch before a matinee performance.

Everything how should be. Top place in london to eat and drink. After 11pm turn in a club with best music and best drinks from Joy bartender. Thank you for for everything

Absolutely filth was sick as soon as I had 1 mouthful of carbonara when complained waiter could not care a less and said must be the mushroom pasta an absolutely s/:; place when we asked for the manger they said he wasn’t available and did not eat or drink for the rest of the meal when the bill came they knocked off £20 this is the worst place I have ever eaten at and to make it worst because we were a table of 20 year olds they could not care a less do not go I will be contact health and hygiene in Westminster

The served dishes did not match the order. The quality of food was very poor and had nothing to do with Italian taste. The music inside was loud and annoying. This place should be avoided. I do not recommend it.

The food was tasteless. The water glasses we received were unwashed. The shrimp tasted disgusting and we didn't eat them. the focaccia was uneatable. pizza from it and bruscetta so-so. I do not recommend it and look for other proven restaurants because you will only spend money here and have unpleasant memories. avoid this place

No one cares about customers. Web days open till 3 am , waitress said 1 am when we got there. And practically were kicked out of there at 12am. What a shame

The man at the main door did a good job in attracting us in. However, once we are inside we had to call several times for the menue, we had to ask for plates and cutlery. The service is probably below average. As for the food, Fettuccine Alfredo was very bad and it tasted awful. Margherita pizza was good to be honest. They put %12.5 services charges which is very annoying because they do not deserve it. Bear in mid you can ask to opt out from paying the services charges. I feel they only rely on the busy tourist location to get people in and they do not care about retaining their customers. The experience overall is just average at the best.

Pasta is good, pizza is good but nothing screams loud for me to come back again.

We stumbled into this place when visiting in June. Had a lovely lunch (mains) and some wine. Service was friendly, it was clean. I had aubergine parmigiana and my brother had the arriabbata. Aubergine was amazing and so filling. My brother said the arriabbata was the best he ever had and he is frequently in Italy! We came to london again in July and sought this place out because my brother couldn’t get the arriabbata out of his head! I had the linguine langoustine. Recently visited Sicily and had pretty much the same meal but in comparison this place was 100% nicer! Genuine, authentic and fresh. And the portion sizes are HUGE! The server,Nelly, remembered us and made us feel so welcome which made all the difference to our experience. We are already planning our next trip!!

Food was great but service was horrible. We ordered starters and a main dish each. Also some drinks. The starters and the main dish all arrived at the same time! Before any drinks. I had to get up and remind them to bring the drinks. The waitress said we should have told her that we didn’t want the starters at the same time as our main dishes. What kind of restaurant is this?! More like fast food service. Very disappointing but at least the food did not disappoint.

We enjoyed this place so much we went back for dinner the next night. Staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful and the food is beautiful home cooked Italian deliciousness

Visited after an evening meal for drinks and some dancing. Great atmosphere and music - would definitely return!

Visited for lunch on a rainy windy Saturday! We had not reserved a table however we were welcomed in and offered a table. Our waiter Neil was both friendly, fun and informative. We had a lovely long lunch and it was great not to be rushed and able to relax. The restaurant itself was not what I expected - not quite restaurant but also not cantina style… somewhere in between. Tables were well spaced to enjoy your own company. We sat by the window which was great except for the annoying child pressing his face against the window (who was sitting there from the adjoining cafe). I had the asparagus to start followed by ravioli. Both were presented well and tasty. My partner had the prawns which were amazing followed by lasagne. The lasagne had much more sauce than we would expect, however it had a lot of flavour. Due to the weather, and our host being so welcoming(!), we stayed for a complimentary limoncello. Service, food and ambience all great! I do think the prices were a bit inflated though. Would happily visit again!

Very nice pasta - tasty lasagne and excellent pasta with beef rib. Bread was great. A bit in the expensive side (especially for a glass of wine) but we sat outside and people watched so well worth it.

Very tasty takeaway pizza, good dough and quality ingredients used for the Quattro formargi…definitely will be back when in the area.

Turning up for a meal with friends, the restaurant was empty and freezing cold...we had to ask for the door to be shut and the air con to be turned off...on a cold wet rainy day. So..being seated..we looked at the menu, the food was a good selection, the wine.. massively overpriced...wine up to £3500 a bottle in a fairly basic restaurant???? How pretentiousness,!!! We chose a selection of starters to share, they were ok, nothing special. The mains...the pasta with langastine was excellent, the lemon sole...over cooked, no side dishes offered or recommended, the staff...not at all confident. An ok evening, but for the price definitely not worth it. Find some where else to go. Don't go here.

Well, I don't know where to start. This is the place which opens late and has an extensive drinks and food list, for those who want to be in London, after every place is done for the day. The staff is friendly and polite and make you feel welcome. The downside is the durtiness of this place and total absence of the antibacterial equipment in this place. Toilets are run down and the cleanliness is the issue. If you want to go there, make sure you bring your own sanitiser.....

Just don’t! Food was awful (we had pizzas but just pretty poor). Wine was expensive but again, just rank. The staff were having quite a row with each other with one screaming at her colleague, then as she was reluctantly hosting, standing smoking as she smoke to potential diners and in front of those already seated. Altogether just an awful place and living off its prime location.

The pizza was great actually the staff was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness for the restaurant was bad for example the bottle for the olive oil and balsamic vinegar and tables but I would love to go again to have the pizza 👍🏼

We love going to this restaurant, the food is delicious, best Italian food outside of Italy. The waiter and his wife welcome us back like family. The restaurant is situated just opposite Ronnie Scots Jazz Club and apparently the restaurant have upstairs dancing until 3.00 am. The restaurant in Soho is situated to nearby theatres, so good for pre or after dinner meals. The waiter and his wife are excellent hosts.

Often visiting Ronnie Scott's, I have seen Little Italy across the road. On this occasion, I decided to give it a try. There is an authentic Italian menu with a good selection of options available. I had the lamb, which went well with the Merlot house on offer and a cheeky complimentary limoncello. So-so, for SOHO, there are a lot of good options to eat out. What made me give Little Italy 5 stars was the service, which was excellent throughout. Neil, in particular, gave a level of service that I've only experienced in 5-star hotels. I will be back next time I'm at Ronnie's.

We hungry and needed to find a restaurant and not knowing good from bad. Came past this restaurant. Been yo lots of Italian places. This was bland. Very hot on the outside. Love hot food but cold in the middle. Just wanted to leave. Would not go bavk

This restaurant was perfect for lunch before a matinee theatre show at the Prince Edward just around the corner. Received a very warm welcome, the food was excellent as was the service from the staff. Would highly recommend a visit here, we will certainly visit again.

The experience was very good at first. My waitress was nice, the manager was nice and even the bouncer was nice at first. My friends and I spent a few hours there and drank a lot but after my second trip to the bathroom they started rushing me out for some reason. I don’t know if it’s because we were black or because we are American but after about 15 minutes in the bathroom, the rude bouncer went inside of the ladies room and was trying to rush out. Mind you, I spend over 300 pounds in there and because a white MAN was complaining about us being in the bathroom (there was NO line many stalls were empty), the bouncer felt justified in holding the mans opinion over me and the people I was with. I had more than 6 drinks and I have a small bladder so I should we allowed to pee as many times as I want in a restaurant/bar I’m paying over 300 pounds at. I would have stayed to dance, but the bad vibes made me and my friends want to leave. The only redeeming part of my night was the nice manager lady but otherwise I would warn black Americans from coming here. You may get treated a little weirdly by the security!

Very expensive, and the food was average. We tried pizza & pasta. Almost a bit comic that an italian restaurant is playing disco-versions of 80's music loud all night. Nice staff though.

If you want your belongings stolen due to poor security, see puke and flies in the bathrooms, an extremely unprofessional "manager", drunk addicts blocking the toilets, come visit Little Italy. They refused to give access to their cloakroom and told us to leave our jackets on a chair, in the corner. We've spent hundreds at the establishment and asked for cooperation from the manager. She was talking over us, was extremely rude and offered zero cooperation.

Seafood spaghetti is super great! So many prawns in it.😍 Also garlic bread for free!However there is service fee, which is not very cheap.😬 But I still recommend this restaurant!

Tasty pizza on a Sunday evening. One of the few places open.

We were met by Neil who was amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Neil is an absolute credit to your restaurant. Food was fantastic.

Clearly they don't care about their review, A little italian scam. extortion of money in the toilet some 3£ for using perfumes, which is there for no reason and as soon as u touch them they charge u money for it. People are quite drunk so they innocently use it but then they get in trouble. What a joke.

The Manger ruined the night for me she was following me around staring and believe me I was dressed RICH ordering cocktails but im arab shes a miserable old lady who need to check herself out and not ruin everyones night

We had a few drinks at the bar and it’s was absolutely fabulous. Neil was a great bar man and very good host. The vibe is brilliant. Music great drinks range extensive. Really worth a visit.

Visit little Italy today for lunch while in London with work. The food was delicious and the gentleman that looked after us made our day Neil was absolutely fantastic very attentive and an absolute delight we will be back.

Had great experience at this authentic old style London Italian restaurant. The waiters where outstanding (big shout to Neil AKA Nelly) . The food portions where extremely generous and prices where incredibly lower than expected for central London restaurant. The special thing for me was its association with Bar Italia next door which another place I’d recommend.

An amazing Saturday evening out we all had fantastic food , the music was so good we were all up dancing with everyone in the restraunt after dinner.Little Italy is the best place to go for a good Italian. The family and team always look after us.

A little gem in the middle of Soho. We stumble on this amazing place while looking for lunch one Friday afternoon. Our waiter, Nelli, was friendly and very attentive, it was so refreshing to be served in such a professional manner, the ambiance was relaxing, the attention to details was flawless. Being French and a foody person it was a real journey to be transported back with their culinary talent to Italy 🤗. A big thank you to this amazing team and looking forward to come back again with friends and colleagues. X

Wow as always . I never understand why this placed isn't rammed full of diners as it's an absolute gem. Food is reasonably priced and so tasty . We were given complimentary garlic bread. I had the biggest negroni I have ever had anywhere and at around £11 it was exceptional value. The staff were all spot on but I must mention Georgio was full of personality or as my husband said appropriately flamboyant. This is my go to Italian when in London.

Starters were ok. Mains were absolutely terrible. Carbonara was salty and inedible, the sauce had turned into scrambled eggs can’t believe they even served that. The ravioli - filling because we’re ok but the ravioli was so thick it was thicker than a pie - almost as though it was hand rolled once and made. The spaghetti - horrible sause weird tasting and again incredibly thick pasta. When paying the bill the customer service was horrible - she said ‘the chef is having a bad day today’ - didn’t care at all. Far from a ‘family run authentic Italian’ I’d spend your money elsewhere.

Restaurant is quaint and cozy. Also, one of the few that are open for service quite late, like after seeing an evening show in the area. The pizza was very very average. If you are hungry, it does what it needs to. But wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a great pizza.

The food was decent though rather overpriced. However, we asked the waitress if we could have a box for our leftover pizza. She took our plates into the back and then we paid. We ate about half of it and planned to take the rest home. Afterwards we asked if we could have the box that we asked for. She said that she threw away our pizza. She then proceeded to insist that we said that we didn’t want it when we actually asked twice for a box. No one didn’t have the courtesy to offer us anything in exchange despite the fact that she was giving free starters to the tables around us.

What a fabulous find! This restaurant made us feel like we were on holiday The food was fabulous, we had a selection of small plates to share. The beetroot cured salmon was delicious, prosciutto and burrata on a bed of roasted tomatoes and olives was amazing. The squid, garlic prawns and salt and pepper calamari were all fantastic The restaurant had white linen tablecloths and napkins always a plus in my opinion Service was friendly and attentive but not in your face or annoying Guiseppe was great but the biggest shout out to Neil such a gentleman! We were dining before going to Ronnie Scott’s and we were not hurried away from our table the meal was leisurely and comfortable Now we have found this little piece of Italy in Soho we will definitely be returning thank you

We had a lovely meal prior to a matinee at theatre. We shared a pizza and pasta dish with bottle of house white and my daughter had her own pizza. It was all delicious. The restaurant was spotless and tables set and dressed with white linen table cloths. The waiter was very attentive and helpful and food was provided quickly. I would highly recommend.

Came along on Saturday evening with 2 friends, we was all sober and business owners all in our 50s. We was treated terribly but the boor man that wouldn't let us in! He let everyone else in that came after along with outh groups off guys. Very VERY poor service. Definitely won't return.

Such a lovely lady that was able to give her suggestions for the all so tempting menu. The arancini was especially mouth watering. Everything was fabulous, thank you 😊

Lovely food, great price(for London), great service. The food was 5 star for us and our waiters couldn't do enough. Food reminded us of hotter times in Lake Garda, so authentic.

Extremely overpriced for terrible food. I ordered the truffle Cacio de Pepe. When it came out the pasta they used was a dry tagliatelle. The food was flavourless and very cold. I assume they just defrosted this dish rather than cook it. There were four other members of my party who ordered carbonara and they used penne pasta and a cheese sauce that tasted awful. For an Italian restaurant to get pasta dishes this wrong is a talent. We were not the only one with this issue as I overheard some other people in the restaurant complaining about the quality of their meal. The price was astronomical as they charge additional ‘ cover charges’ in addition to the service charge. I’m surprised this place has any reviews above 3 stars and question how genuine they are. Will Never go again. Highly recommend if you like terrible cold food.

Food - Nice Price - Poor Overall - Ok Shame as would like to give a better review. £75 for 2 people, for some ravioli, prawns with toast, £5.95 for a soft drink, only half a garlic bread served (this was then given to us free). 12.5% automatic service charge takes the mick.

This was by far the best drunken pizza i have ever had! the rocket and parma ham (forget it’s name)! i normally don’t write reviews but this was so amazing that i just had to. also accepted my drunk self and my even drunker friend into their place.

There were seven of us. We were seated. Menus put on table. When our orders were being taken, the waiting staff said that we all had to order food and drinks at a minimum of £30 each (except for the one child with us). She said that this should have been told to us when we came in. We left: went to the opposite restaurant (l’Ulivo) which was much nicer and don’t have the minimum £30 per person ‘rule’

nice food but 25% service charge outrageous asked to do our own tip and waiter tried to tell us it was standard where as restaurants in mayfair only charge 12-15% service charge !!

Little Italy in SoHo is a culinary gem! The Milanese veal was a masterpiece of flavors – perfectly tender and seasoned just right. Pairing it with their delightful drink selection was a stroke of genius; each sip complemented the dish beautifully. The ambiance was charming, the service impeccable. A must-visit for any food enthusiast!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Possibly the worst eating experience I have had in London - food was utterly horrendous! Poor quality food, bland and no one ate their full meal. We aren’t even fussy eaters. The set Xmas meal is an utter shocker! Manager was incredibly rude - and took great pride in screaming at her team in front of patrons, especially outside the ladies toilet - for all to hear. Blamed the loud music when confronted about it….. just really inappropriate and unacceptable. She also didn’t acknowledge any complaints about the food, and said she was used to it. I echo the other poor reviews - they literally don’t care, and know more willing victims are lining up at the door. Absolutely appalling and they need to sort themselves out. Go elsewhere- supermarket sandwich aisles do a much better job!
