Rolling Smoke Derby in Derby

The most underrated place in Derby, food is absolutely fantastic, the staff and service is exceptional. I would definitely put this as my top 3 food spots in Derby highly recommended.

If you want food on time don’t order from here! Paid for 4 bags of chips from here and they took an hour and a half to just deliver it! Not worth spending your money here if you want food on time!!!

I went into their store and specifically asked for plain NON spicy wings which they went on to say they could do for me. I paid and got home and my mouth was on fire, not only were they spicy they were beyond mild that I asked for. Dissapointed to say the least. So if you ask for something different they obviously can’t accommodate.

Food was cold. Fries tastes like old and microwaved. Oreo cheesecake have no cheese in it at all looks like chocolate cake with a slice of marcepan inside. Burgers were dry and amount of sauce was just ridiculous. Very disappointed.

We'v ordered from rolling smokes a few times, it's usually really nice unfortunately this time they put spicy sauce on my daughters burger so she couldn't eat it and it went on the bin . Also I was shocked to find a bone in my bone in my burger

Food was 1 hr and 40 mins late and had to call multiple times to chase the time for delivery. Gave us a small tub of plain ice cream and thought this was acceptable.

£32 roughly for two burgers chips and drinks. Not too bad. But when smoking the Mary Jane and the burger is super dry makes £32 seem steep. I had to use the moisture out my eyes to get my tongue from the ceiling of my mouth because of this burger.

Ahhhhh I’m so disappointed! This was my favourite food spot to order from, they also always bring my food to the door with my son being in bed (which I’m truly grateful for as I live in a big block of flats) but this time my chicken burger was still pink in the middle. I’m so funny with meat so I can’t say I’ll be ordering from here again. Sooo disappointed 😢

Honestly gotta give it to this guys excellent customer service and great food.

I used to love having a chicken burger from you but lately they are tough,stringy and tasteless, and looks like the wedges are overcooked aswell, if you've got a new chef then they can't cook properly so I won't be having anymore from you.

Absolutely delicious! First time trying and it was perfect for the picky eaters too as we were able to remove the salad parts and choose what bun we wanted.

Great food, had the biggest burger they had and a giant bag of chips, great quality and it was all just £13. Ive been to practically every restaurant in Derby, this is a no brainier, don’t be on the fence for this one if you’re thinking of going . Ordered a Stacker Burger and Jalapeño cream it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to deliver ( REALLY 😡) it would be quicker if I ordered from Birmingham.. Jalapeño don’t recommend it at all “ no taste “ .. the burger was too much things in it and the taste of the beef was weird.. and you can’t track the order on Uber because the staff delivered it. Honestly, first and last time ordering from here. 🤬

I don’t normally leave reviews but myself and my partner were so overwhelmed by the quality of this establishment we felt it necessary to do so. Delivery time was so quiet yet not to a disadvantage of the quality of the food. This was hands down the best burger we had. We both chose the stacker burger meal and had extras. The burger was so big that it would have been ample enough itself. The pretzel bun was something I tried for the first time and it was cooked to perfection. Definitely repeatin

The taste of the grilled beef burger is fabulous. But disadvantage can't eat inside the restaurant because the smell of barbecue will stick to your clothes.

First came to this takeaway a few days ago and since then we have come back everyday. The food is so fresh and is amazing quality highly recommend people to try here especially for their loaded fries.

What can I say!! 1st time ordering and it was amazing!! Everything so fresh and the flavour was absolutely on point, delivered to Chad and still piping hot. Absolutely beautiful! Always nervous when trying new places but this place was a win. Food was roasting hot, portions were generous, arrived well within delivery slot. Don’t know how they make the fries but dayum! We had ‘the original’ burger meals, partner struggled with the double lol, cookie dough and shakes 👌🏻

Food was nice, and delivery time was good. However I ordered a swiss mushroom rollup and I got a wrap with donner meat, peppers and onion. No swiss cheese and no mushrooms. Disappointed to not get what I ordered.

Ordered a takeaway . 2 hours to get here . But I forgive them for that because the burgers was amazing. Piping hot , tasty, absolutely huge . No need for the loaded fries as a side which was also out of this world . I couldnt fault it . Well worth a visit

We ordered from here tonight and omg i can honestly say this was one of the best takeaways I’ve ever had (and we have quite a lot) the meat was so tender and everything was super tasty!! We’ll definitely he returning on our next trip to Derby! Thank you for we thoroughly enjoyed everything.

Got order totaly wrong and were very rude when rang up avoided at all costs

I have mixed feelings about this place. It took 1:20 to arrive, yes it was Friday afternoon but still. Chicken loaded fries £9,59 - 3 small chicken peace's and lots of souce + £2,50 for fries it was Joke 0 value for money. But burgers were amazing, they were fresh with good spice level and good presentation. If you buy from this place then only burgers!

I Got a Holy sweetness burger meal and it was so nice and filling! Worth the price, like the pricing is on point. And the chips were so tasty. Not oily at all really but crispy and soft It was just all around lovley really!

We was here for the day and decided we would come here for food instead of a busy hectic pub or restaurant and my God I'm so glad we did, honestly the best chicken burger I've ever had in my life and I'm super picky! My partner had a classic buther and he said the same couldnt believe how tasty it was! We are coming here monthly and are going to come here for food every time now. I just spent the weekend in Derby for a wedding and this place was a short walk from my hotel. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I ate here my first night arriving and I had to come back for more after the wedding to treat myself. Thank you guys for making an already great weekend even better with your amazing food. 10/10. If I ever find myself in Derby again I know exactly where to go for quality food and service, you couldn't ask for anything more.

Having stayed at the Premier Inn across the road we wanted to eat in the room but not the hotel meals. We thought we'd try here, it's slightly more then the neighbouring establishments however the quality is far superior. You definitely get what you pay for. The food was hot and fresh, the service was spot on, took us a while to decide what we wanted, and wasn't rushed at all, the server was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would we recommend eating here? My partner and I always work quite late and this is our new go-to for delivery. Food is always so delicious and hits the spot every time. They've never gotten our order wrong and the food always arrives hot and is always so flavourful. Truly thank you so much for being our late night saviours 😅

We have had takeaway from here quite a few times now, and all the food had been delicious! This time, I tried the smokin burger, which was lovely. The meat that was used for the burger was to a good standard, and the bun and condiments were excellent. The amount of chips that you get with the burger as a meal is fabulous aswell and they are always nice! The only bad thing we have had is when we have had very larger orders (10+ people), sometimes there has been a meal missing. However, when we have phone up and explained, they have always dropped a replacement round. Would really recommend trying the food here!

The food was very spicy I ordered hot it came extra spicy I am also pregnant and asked them to change it for me and they refused not happy with the order I did tell him I was pregnant and too spicy upsets my baby and he was being rude and put the phone down

Well this sounded like a really good place but almost an hour after the latest time they said they would deliver and nothing. From the app it seems it was picked up awhile ago tho. Requested updates but no response and calling the number provided to contact them just rings out. Would say what the food is like but... I seem to be lacking any to review

Chips were nice but had a bite out of the burger and was disturbed by how pink it was I worked in service industry and burgers are not meant to look like this. Hoping I don’t get food poisoning.

Awful experience, my partner had the halloumi burger I had a beef and chicken burger. We were both sick not long after consuming the meals, my partner ended up in hospital due to the really bad food poisoning potentially from cross contamination or poor storage of the halloumi according to the hospital. I would not recommend or order again from this place, avoid
