Ordered here on Saturday night, absolutely awful. I measly piece of chicken jerk and the peppered steak was really salty. Not worth the £24 for two meals, they had no chips available. Save your money many better takeaways to spend your money with.

Just had a Jerk Chicken from Roger Moore, unfortunately it will be the fist and last time I order food from Roger. The Jerk chicken was well below par in comparison to what I have had from other Caribbean takeaways. It was far too sweet ( not sure if it was sugar or some kind of ketchup) and the chicken itself was tough as though it had gone cold and then been reheated. The seasoning again seemed swamped by the sauce. Very poor effort

Llegamos alrededor de las 7 pm para encontrar el restaurante vacío: estaban haciendo un gran intercambio de entregas y el teléfono estaba descolgado todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí, pero nadie más vino a comer. A lo largo de nuestra visita, había niños mirando videos y haciendo llamadas cara a cara en el restaurante, resultó que eran hijos del personal. El menú sonaba delicioso, pero cuando intentamos pedir muchos de los platos no estaban disponibles. Nos ofrecieron una combinación de entrantes en lugar de las cosas que queríamos. Lo que recibimos fueron tres pequeños trozos de plátano, dos rollos de festín cocinados en exceso, una olla de ensalada de col y un plato de repollo y guisantes insípido para compartir. Esto llegó junto con nuestros platos principales. El curry de cabra y el estofado de pollo marrón eran absolutamente deliciosos. Probablemente valga la pena regresar. Desafortunadamente, la falta de atmósfera, la sensación de que estábamos sentados en medio de una pelea y el flujo constante de conductores de reparto y personas recogiendo comida significa que no lo haremos. Una verdadera pena.

First and last visit. Jerk chicken in a smokey barbecue flavoured sauce was horrible! Goat curry just tasted of curry powder, very very disappointing indeed.

Wouldnt even give a rating if i could it was that bad! Well over priced for what it was! Chips was soggy and doesnt taste anything like it’s meant too! Would never order again

Our dinners are always so good when ever we use them. Everything we tried was just great, spot on authentic Caribbean food....(and we have just enjoyed the food in Antigua!). Would say to order early as they are always very busy so sometimes there is a wait for delivery on a weekend.

So its said the food was rubbish (salty curry, raw/unripe planting cheapest of cheap rice oversalty) and when addressed was told ok i will let the chef know not even a how can i help, then the chef/owner wrote a comment on my page that was not very nice, So i had to tell the world now how terrible the food and customer service is also. No hygiene stars on doors means trouble. Stay clear spend your money else where.

Can’t fault, food and service was excellent will definitely be trying more off the menu really enjoyed thx

I ordered a takeaway online at 19.26 which I was told it would take 60min which was fine as it was a Saturday night, I then had a text to say they are very busy so will be an additional 40 mins, fine I thought Iv ordered and paid so will wait patiently. @ 21.30 I was still waiting so called the restaurant and was told the food will be 10 mins, so I waiting @ 22.00 still no food had arrived so again called the restaurant but no answer so checked online to see opening hours to find they close at 22.00. I then had to drive to the restaurant to see what was happening, I was then told they don’t know what happened to my order and that all their drivers had returned. I was given a refund but was still very hungry they didn’t offer to give me anything complementary, they could have at least offered some sort of food as I was starving hungry having waiting 2 and a half hours for a takeaway that never arrived, I am very very very disappointed as I have previously ordered from them before and enjoyed the food

We have had food delivered several times and it is always very,very good and last night was no different. Everything we have tried has been spot on Caribbean food, the sauce with the curried goat, brown stew chicken and jerk chicken so good! Great menu choices with lots of sides to choose from. They have inspired us to visit the actual Caribbean next month, yep that good!!

I thoroughly recoomend you eat here or get there takeaway food. My son knew about this place as a result of his mates getting the Platter takeaway delivered. We visited to eat-in on a Saturday afternoon about 6ish. This place is really basic, but the food is cooked by family and with a lot of loving care. My son and I ate the four mains dishes between us. It was a shed load of food but we managed to get through most of it. Every dish was good. Goat Curry, Chickpea curry, brown stew chicken ( MUCH better than it sounds ) and Jerk Chicken. Their sauces were excellent and we had three really well cooked Festivals to use to soak up the sauces. The mains were accompanied by generous bowls of brown rice with beans, fries and coldslaw. It was all good. With Red Stripe available in tins. This is a long way from fine dining, but it is REALLY GOOD dining and you won't be disappointed with the home cooked food. The menu has a good range of starters, mains and desserts ( not too many, but enough to have something for every taste in terms of caribbean food. )

We tried this place out for a delivery after either not being able to place an order with closer other restaurants we have used before or they were closed. I am so glad we did as the flavours were really lovely and very authentic, good portions too. The jerk chicken, curried goat and brown chicken stew, rice and peas with huge festivals all great. We will certainly be ordering again! (only feed back we would give it how small the coleslaw portion pot was for £1.50, barely enough for one person?)
