Rodfai Thai street food in Ealing

Food is unbelievable. Highly recommend. Best Thai food in London. I would definitely recommend going there. Starters to mains is fantastic. Service is really good too.

Sigh...a week on, I am still thinking about the stir-fried chicken with coconut rice. It was stonking delicious. Everyone at the table loved their food and portions were generous. We ate the stir fried chicken - 2 flavours, and stir-fried beef, 2 different curries and had varied rice options. No doggy bag was required...ahem. So... - the staff were lovely but rushed off their feet as it was very busy indeed - Saturday evening. - the place was airy and pleasantly decorated/décor. - the price was a little hefty and had a 12.5% service fee. HINT - I would love to see vegetable tempura on the menu as I felt the vegetarian / vegan starters were very limited. Sticky ribs would be lovely too. But, I could NOT bring myself to give it 4 stars. Too lovely. NB: Beware 1-star reviewers...

I wanted to try Rod Fai for a long time after reading the reviews .... This was not the dining experience I expected. The food was tasteless and very greasy, there was no fresh basil or lemongrass tastes and peppercorns tasted old. The Phad Thai was a disappointment (this is the basic for Thai cuisine) and sadly the service wasn't good, as they were very busy with 15% service added to the bill. Will not make the mistake again!!

Great food....Great service..... We came here for something different and it was perfect..... Awesome place with a quick turnover without being rushed. Excellent value and authentic food. The taste smells thailand..... I couldn’t fault any of food and would highly recommend. We waited 15 mins but it was worth every second of it!

Love everything about this restaurant. The food is delicious, fresh, flavoursome, and in my opinion very authentic - having lived and travelled in Thailand. Service is absolutely charming and very attentive even when busy, which this restaurant invariably is. The ambience is great, and we always really like the chilled familiar music. Rodfai just gets everything right consistently and it is our go-to restaurant and takeaway. There is an underlying skill to everything they do and not just the cooking.

I’ve been to rodfai many times for lunch and family dinners, it is by all means the best Thai I have ever eaten out of Thailand. But tonight I ordered £90 on delivery and it fell well below par, poorly packed and low quality. We had tomyum prawn soup with no prawns, pad Thai with extra prawns….3 prawns and densely packed so went mushy, weeping tiger with hardly any dressing steak was tough, mixed started 2 pieces of satay when u get 3 in the restaurant and the crab was soggy due to the way it was packed. The massaman curry and duck spring rolls were lovely, egg fried rice was just egg fried rice. Like I said we eat in a lot with no complaints but when I called to complain the acted like there was no issue and did not even apologise, this is the Thai way in Thailand maybe the should remember they r in London and earning a pretty penny on what they r cooking up!! I’m now looking for a new Thai….any recommendations?

We arrived without a reservation and were told they could accommodate us but would need the table back 90 mins later. That was fine and we appreciated the clear communication. The food was absolutely exquisite. The atmosphere was lovely. The people were friendly, helpful and polite. We didn't feel at all rushed and had a really lovely experience. Thank you!

Comfort goes beyond food at Rodfai Thai. While visiting family, we dined here on two occasions because the food was so very good, the wait staff were kind and pleasant, and the ambiance was relaxing and soothing. The second time we were in, there were several groups enjoying as good an experience as we were having, and, when one of us needed a special accommodation, the waitresses were super helpful in finding assistance with a cab company. This kind of experience is rare and precious. We were satisfied in terms of a great meal, and so appreciative that the staff went the "extra mile" for us. May this lovely gem of a restaurant enjoy success for a very long time! Thank you.

Wow what an incredible find! Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been amazing. Special highlights - the Thai green curry (a great kick to it), the tom yum soup, the chicken satay, the crispy chilli beef and the gaeng karee are all delicious. We’ve tried lots of other dishes too and everything is always spot on. The food has so much flavour and the staff are super lovely. Definitely give this Thai a try, to eat in or you can take away. We have tried so many Thai restaurants in London and this is streets ahead of the competition! Thanks so much Rodfai.

We recently went as a family for dinner. We were welcomed with open arms by the super friendly staff who went more than out of their way to provide a superior dining experience for our family. The owners were there too and they made it their mission to ensure we were looked after. Then there was the food. Probably the best and most authentic Thai food we have ever had. Everything was prepared to perfection and is also very well priced. We just loved the overall experience from the service to the food to the decor. It was just so well done! Highly recommend it!
