Rock Spice Restaurant & Lounge in Trafford

One of the best curry restaurants I've been to in all my time in London. The mixed grill is to die for. Very affordable, staff are super friendly & very helpful

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and above all else excellent authentic food. Brilliant food pre match,well and truly polished off.

Visit here when attending football at Old Trafford as an away supporter. Away supporters welcome and no trouble with locals. Reasonable selection of beers and lagers. Although haven't eaten here ,it always seems very busy and food looks very nice.Plates always seem to be emptied.

Truly authentic and tasty Pakistani and Indian food. Very hard to find authentic curry and SpiceRock really hits all the right marks in flavour and preparation. Highly recommended the mixed grill starter and rail road lamb on the bone. So much more flavour when prepared on the bone, and very traditional. Well worth the visit!!

10 of us went without booking and they were so accommodating. Lorna, who was wAiting on, was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was the some of the best I’ve tasted. Would highly recommend it. An excellent meal

Went early doors, 5pm (ish), on a Wednesday evening and were initially the only people in there. The food was exceptional - hot, spicy fresh and good quantities. Served by Bernice who was lovely and friendly and knew what she was recommending and serving. Great value as well - 3 courses for 2 people less than £50. Would definately advise you to try and support a local business

This is a truly excellent experience. Delicious Indian Cuisone, spicy and lashings of flavour. One of the best in the entire UK

I need to be persuaded to eat Indian food as I have had some bad experiences in the past, but with four friends I went along to Rock Spice. The food was outstanding, I could taste all the spice flavours and thoroughly enjoyed every delicious dish served. The service was excellent and the pricing was very reasonable. This dining experience has changed my opinion of Indian food and will book to go again the next time I visit Manchester. My five friends, who eat Indian food regularly, all agreed that the whole package at Rick Spice was the best. Well done to all at Rock Spice.

3 guys, business dinner. Friday night 8.30pm and the place was virtually empty. Service was attentive and cheerful. Food was fresh and delicious. We really couldn't fault anything.

I have never written a review before and i am not on social media, however, felt this place deserved it. We attended on the bank holiday as a party of five having been at a cricket match. The food was lovely and some of the nicest curries we have all had - this comment is made as two of our party had just returned from India. We have older children who, on this occasion were not present but would most definitely have enjoyed. We were all quite surprised with regards to the lack of people inside and can only put this down to a lack of advertising as with crowds from either Old Trafford ground this establishment deserves to be inundated. We will be returning and a special thanks to Bernice as the service was brilliant. See you on our next visit.

Visited tonight (Tuesday 27th August around 630-7pm) I walked in and waited to be seated. I asked the young girl where to sit and she pointed to an area, not so much a seat. Eventually the young girl came and asked me for my order (before eventually asking for my drink order) I asked for a korma and asked if it came with rice.. she said she didn’t know. So I ordered it separately anyway. I ordered a chicken tikka spice dish which was meant to come with a mint yoghurt. It didn’t come with a mint yoghurt but some sort of sauce. The korma I ordered was very bland, the peshwari naan was great but everything was very poor. 2x diet cokes £8?! One person cost £28. For two courses and a naan bread? The service was awful. Food was average. Definitely won’t be back.

A great location within a 5 minute walk from both United and LCCC serving superb Asian cuisine served in a timely fashion with very friendly service. Try the lamb chops starter which were absolutely delicious.

Called about 20 times within the hour and the phone wasn’t picked up once, which meant we had to go elsewhere. This was early Tuesday evening and nowhere is that busy. You expect a professional outfit to at least acknowledge when customer are trying to reach them. Clearly have more on their plate than they can handle.

We stayed at the hotel attached to Rock Spice, and after a long day of travel we wanted a convenient place for dinner. Wish we had gone elsewhere! Our server was so unenthusiastic and we got the impression that she wanted very little to do with us. We received no greeting and her overall attitude was very rude. The lack of thank you or please only added to the poor experience we received. The food itself was pretty disappointing as well. My tikka masala tasted exactly like a jar sauce I could've grabbed from Tesco for five times the price. There wasn't a lot of meat in comparison to the rice either. When we were playing for our meal, the server was pacing back and forth while constantly checking her Apple watch - maybe to read a text? We left the restaurant really disappointed.

We are a long way from home (South Australia) and enjoy Indian food. After cricket at Old Trafford on Tuesday and Wednesday nights we thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at the Rock and Spice Restaraunt. We highly recommend this venue! Jim & Pauline

OK - not exactly an athlete's pre-match meal, but last home game of the season we decided to give it a try. Well worth it, decent curries, maybe a bit spicier than you were expecting on each dish. Not the cheapest curry you will ever...

We park here for Manchester United games and have always said we'd go in after the game as the food aromas are always amazing and leave us feeling hungry . We finally went in to console ourselves after a very poor end of season performance....

Went here before Manchester United game and had a wonderful meal which was tasty and filling. Staff were helpful and friendly despite being rushed off their feet. I imagine they would have liked more help on such a busy night. Seriously recommended.

First time getting a takeaway and we loved it. Great curry. Definitely one of the best we be had from a Stretford takeaway. Got an Uber Eats as well which meant we could get it delivered to the house! 👍

Still allow away football fans in prior to game service is fast even when busy ,but gets a little crammed. But its only 15 mins from the away fans stadium entrance.

The food in this resteraunt is incredible. I’ve been 3 times now and each time the food is fresh and tasted very authentically Pakistani and Indian. The service is also brilliant and very personable. Would 100% reccomend.
