Love it here, good food nice friendly staff owner is a good guy who always gives his customers a few chips while they wait.. as fish and chips goes this is our go to place!

We went 5 minutes fown the road after going to thorpe park and had cod and chips and curry sauce and we were sooo happy with what was served! The guy serving us was so friendly & lovely! The food was great! Great prices & great quality! Much much much better than the food offered within the theme park!

First time here and this is a gem. Decent chips, food cooked to order, but most importantly, friendly, outstanding service. My local chippy in Staines had gone down hill, but comparing this service to that I'd got elsewhere, Rock and Roe get 10/10. What a friendly bunch you are!

1st time going here for a few years, we were not disappointed. Service very friendly and welcoming. Fish (large cod) was big enough to serve 3 people, delicious. Battered sausage very nice and large chips, again enough to feed 3/4 people, also very nice. There was no after taste from the oil which you can get from some fish and chip shops. Best of all for me, being northern, I can get scraps, full bag, my favourite. They did forget to add our chips and we had to go back, but soon rectified, very apologetic, not a problem as we don't live too far. All in all this will be our chippy next time we want fish and chips. Definitely need to try 🙂

Unfortunately chips were not cooked through properly. The bread rolls were slightly on the stale side and ended throwing one away as there was green on the margarine. Service was uncomfortable, only popped in as we was passing through.

I'm working in the Staines/Chertsey area at the moment and thought I'd found my best fish and chip shop twice before trying here, this is my chippy that I'm returning to as of now. Nice friendly welcome, plesent owners to talk with, the fish was perfect, the chips were magnificent. For once I ordered regular chips and I just managed to finish them. See you again soon.

Man in shop was rude, also said card could be used but then said not on deals but excepted after making a snarky comment, food was below average chips were absolutely rubbish and the bsttered sausage had been sitting so had gone somewhat stale

I got to know that this business is run by a family, a lovely, kind and hardworking family too! The fish and chips are amongst the best I have had in a long time. No greasy fish, and the chips are to perfection. We were not disappointed and will be visiting again for sure.

Great chippy always well cooked fish and chips and the fish isnt covered in grease. Also like the personal touch of being giving a small bag of chips as u wait for your order. Also quick efficient and helpful staff.

The chips here were really good 👍freshly made, and you can tell the oil was fresh and clean, too, unlike most fish n chips places. Swift and friendly service. The large portion was large, unlike Burger King at thorpe park - £3 for a toddler size handful! Thanks rock and roe.

Never had the chance too collect food I was waiting patiently upon opening at 4pm and ordered chips and sat down 10 minutes passed and the server I presume the boss sneezed twice all over the the hot glass displays and thought I didn't see him I walked out after that.

Amazing food always. I stopped by tonight & ordered a large cod, 2 large chips, kids cod & chips, curry sauce & as always the food was Amazing. Just what i needed after a week of poorly children, tasty food i didn’t have to cook, not to mention how welcoming the team are. I wouldn’t go any where else even though there is a close chip shop. Lovely family run fish and chip shop. The owner is friendly and always welcoming to every customer including their children. The food is great quality always cooked perfectly at a good price. Nothing to dislike. You can phone in advance to order but wait is never that long if you just rock up! You can also now order online using their website, very simple and quick!

Always nice, with chunky flakes of perfectly cooked fish. The chips are really good too and he often gives you a few to munch on while you wait 👌

Tried this place tonight for the first time and i was blown away with the quality and presentation 👌 i will def be returning again as fish was massive and lush (not greasy like alot of chip shops) chips was yummy along with the fish cake...also tried their mushy peas and curry sauce, curry sauce was def tasty and would rate it higher if that was a option. Always fresh.. You'd think with it being so busy on a Friday the food standard would slip every now and again but we've never had a bad take away. The owner is so friendly how he remembers all the orders is beyond me!
