Rock Bottom Bar in Plymouth

Now closed. A beautifully presented rock bar with a cosy vibe. Not enough venues like this in Plymouth. A real loss to Mutley Plain.

Amazing little bar, awesome live music, such a shame it's shutting. Hopefully it can reopen again. Such a gem, Plymouth needs more live venues not less

Great venue with awesome music and friendly staff

Amazing venue! Everyone is so friendly, the musicians are incredibly talented and a joy to watch! Such great energy, they even invited members of the public to perform on stage, all of whom were incredible. Went in there on a spur as we heard the loud music and led to one of the best nights out in a long time. To top it all off the drinks were cheap too. 100% will be returning soon :)

Open 5 nights a week, with live music on 4 of them, cosy friendly bar.

Dark, underground and loud. Music/Band kind of bar but with reasonably priced drinks. It has a very specific vibe so will not be for everyone.

Don't order any drink with a mixer and you'll be fine

It's dark, cheap, and plays awesome rock music all night, with regular local bands performing.

A small, intimate venue. Had a house band playing. An enjoyable experience, even as a solo guest.

I first came here 3 years ago, I have repeatedly returned to great service and friendly advice from Paul and the rest of the staff. I love the decor and have therefore returned with my dad who spoke with Paul about why he served what beers he did, dad then discovered some new drink choices and raves about rock bottom even though he has not had the chance to return yet. I also brought my brother with me who has now become a feature of the bar and seems to be there as reguarly as he can do!

Friendly staff, cool decor and rock music, definetly worth popping in if your heading between town and mutley.
