Roasted & Toasted in Belfast

Sitting on Botanic and close to Queens this a great spot to watch the world go by. The coffee is lovely, the food is very good and the staff are great. It also has good Wi-Fi.

Me he gastado un montón de dinero en comida en mi vida, pero nunca tuve nada que cuando comimos tenía el impacto de mi comida de hoy. 2) El servicio era impecable, estaba muy bien cuidado, el personal tenía un montón de tiempo para mí y mis preguntas. Muy educado y muy buenas en lo que hacen. Por desgracia para mí yo no vivo cerca o no lo visitan todos los días! Tenía que unirse a este sitio para que todo el mundo sepa cómo es este lugar, fue triste ver gente de chippy o inundaciones de metro cuando hay esta joya en la misma calle! Gracias chicos, hizo que mi viaje a Belfast genial con su comida y servicio asombroso! ! !

Metimos en con mi hija estudiante para una rápida captura de café. Pedimos café con leche aromatizada con leche de almendras hechas. Yo sabía que el sabor que quería pero cuando mi hija preguntó que sabores tenían, ella fue ignorado. El chico que nos hizo ningún esfuerzo para ser agradable. El café era una taza llena de tibia espuma y nada más. Sin duda no era un café con leche, nunca había servido como una taza llena de espuma. ¡jamás. Torta de zanahoria era una pequeña porción plaza, agradable, húmedo y agradable. No quería estropear la visita con mi hija por protestar, pero creo que se cobraron casi £12 por servicio antipático, espuma en una taza y un cuadrado de torta es ridículo.

Visited here on a recent visit to Belfast and was not disappointed. We popped in on a passer by's recommendation as we were looking for somewhere to grab some breakfast. The food was served quickly to a group of 7 of us even although there were a few other tables in the place. The food was tasty and well presented and service was great.

Just following up an initially poor review I left for Roasted & Toasted earlier this year. I'm really pleased to say I had a much better experience second time round. On this occasion, staff were much more attentive and our coffee and buns were served extremely quickly. We had their signature marshmallow hot chocolate which was incredible and their brownies were excellent too. There was still a slight issue with the kitchen not having everything we wanted (despite the item still being advertised and displayed) but overall a great experience, and really nice to see that the place seems to have taken on board any criticism they have received.

Ordered soup and Sinatra sandwich and a gourmet donut via Deliveroo today. It came earlier than estimated in fact. Each item was presented in a good quality, thick cardboard box sealed with their label and served with cutlery and napkins. Everything except the soup was dripping in grease unfortunately. I was hungry and finished the spicy lentil soup(?) which was great and had nice heat, but I could not muster the last few bites of the sandwich as it was too greasy. It was disappointing to open my gourmet donut served with some apple crumble as that too was very greasy. The cinnamon donut, which they've given me as an alternative instead of the sourdough that should've come with my soup, was also greasy. Even the cardboard boxes they came in was saturated with oil. This is not the place to go for if you're semi-curious about calorie intake. Order little and rarely if you don't want feel sick afterwards. Hopefully a visit will do this cafe some redemption.

Ate here three times now an hasn't let me down, Breakfast in toasted sour dough is amazing with the chili lava bread.

Nice staff, menu looks promising, especially for veggie options, but man, could the toasties be any greasier?? They were just dripping with oil. I left the cafe feeling sick. Won't be back unfortunately...

Holy moly. It's not often that a humble sandwich makes me want to burst into song, but the roast chicken and homemade pesto delight I just devoured here has done exactly that. There are so many delicious sandwich options, different breads and fillings but all toasted and buttery crunchy goodness. I also love that the menu highlights local suppliers, like CoCouture, Yellow Door and Draynes Farm. Also the dessert menu boasts the single most enticing concoction I've seen in a long while: a croissant, CoCouture chocolate sauce, hazelnut and whipped cream sundae. And they make their own doughnuts. I know, right? I am drooling all over my keyboard. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, good music, free wifi, laptop desks with outlets, good coffee... It's great how much Botanic/Queens area has improved in terms of food choices, and this is my new favourite!

I don't have a lot to say other than our breakfast here was absolutely amazing!!! The Frenchy and The Welsh One were absolutely phenomenal (I tried both 😳) and the flat white was a proper cup of coffee. I will definitely be back and would recommend everyone else do the same!!

I recently got in touch with Roasted and Toasted to arrange a co-working day for local translators and I have to say our entire group was really happy. This coffee shop is perfect for co-working as they have a work bench area at the back with plugs (even USB charging points), and the WIFI was very fast and reliable for the whole day. I picked the venue based on the fact they run the Belfast City Business Club, and seem to be really geared up to supporting freelancers and the local business community. The staff were very attentive, frequently coming over to offer us water and check everything was OK. They also cleaned the work bench area promptly, which was really helpful for us. Another good point was the music- which provided a nice atmosphere without being too distracting. Perfect for productivity. The coffee and food were great! Highlights included the red berry tea and the chocolate brownies which were incredible. The "welsh one" toastie was also a big hit. One suggestion would be to add a few more vegetarian breakfast options. However having said this, one of our colleagues is vegetarian and the chef was really happy to tailor the options to her needs, which was great. Overall we were very impressed with this place and will definitely be getting in touch to organise another co-working session soon. Thanks guys!

only the second time i've had food from this place and oh wow, mouthgasms ahoy. fairly priced outstanding quality food, excellent service and fast becoming my go-to takeout place

Admittedly we discovered this place by accident. Coffee was great, food - a little different was also great. Location, staff and facilities great.

I will start with wow!! and well done. I have eaten street food in New York and London and you have nailed it, flavour in every bite. Roasted & Toasted has everything and I will be back, even I can't try everything at once. Give your palate a treat, stop in and try some authentic street food, you will not be disappointed. See you soon and again well done for that something unique. Love it. Onwards and upwards. Also for our aspiring DJs try out the open decks and try a Brick Lane Breakfast .. my personal favourite.

I work nearby Roasted and Toasted and after looking at their menu online I was really excited to call in, specifically to try their 'R&T Signature toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate' and canoli. When we arrived, early afternoon, my partner and I were extremely disappointed to learn that neither of these items were available; to be clear, both items were on the restaurant's standard menu, with the hot chocolate being their 'signature' item. We ordered a regular hot chocolate instead, which took approximately 10 minutes to arrive at our table; quite a long wait considering there were only 7 customers yet 4 members of staff. To add to this, out table was quite dirty which staff did not seem to notice. On the positive side, staff were very polite and pleasant, and the restaurant itself looks pretty cool, with nice features and furniture. All in all, we would not be inspired to try R&T again, which is a real shame as their menu looks really impressive and different to anything else in Belfast.

Great place. Bricklane breakfast and a cuppa a great start to the day. Staff are brilliant & V friendly. Shame we live 300 miles away! Will be back o our next visit.
