been here twice and still the same lovely food and helpful and friendly staff can't fault it

Came and had food here yesterday evening for the first time. Have passed it few times when we have travelled to Narbeth and Tenby so thought we would finally give it a try. Food was lovely, a great variety to choose from. The kids loved their milkshakes. Staff were friendly, service was quick and the food was hot. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely freshly cooked food, generous portions, friendly and efficient service. We’ll be back.

Good stop instead of a fast food place.

Worst customer service I have ever received. Rude, unfriendly staff with poor communication via telephone booking which they took no responsibility for. Asked for my deposit back as we didn't stay to eat and I was charged the same amount again, manager did resolve this but I would never come back or recommend.

Staff and food is amazing ..went on mother's days

We didnt stop for food today on Mother's Day..bkd the table correctly & despite saying there was a 10mth old with us..we were never told u had to bk a baby high chair??!! As it's a "Family Friendly" restaurant that should come automatically...staff expected us to seat baby on our laps while we ate hot food?! Health & safety???!!! Staff were rude & did not go out of their way at all to accomodate! Luckily we did have our deposit back! In my line of work..if i treated the public like that..especially concerning a baby,i'd lose my job! It was the way they handled it..disgraceful!!!

Drop in today for food chicken burger and a roadhouse salad where do I start it was that terrible I've reall nothing to say .only your advising it as a roadhouse said guys but some love in to it everything was chop so small all I had was mixed salad not good terrible food

Good food, pleasant staff, and service.

We have popped in lots of times for a coffee, or a fish & chip evenig meal. Last time we had Beef Lasagna, the cheese topping was like eating chewing gum. Apart from that the Bitter Shandy was great as was the rest of the meal. It's a great place to have a meal.

Perfect stopping point on the way back east

Very nice meals in a warm and welcoming setting. We have often driven past and wondered what it would be like and we were not disappointed. Lots of choice of food and drinks.

We returned to the Roadhouse again for some great food and a welcoming atmosphere, having been here several times before on field trips to West Wales. It is so conveniently located, and has plenty of parking. The staff are always freindly. We have used it for family gatherings and reunions. I only wish we had discovered it years ago.

Perfect place to celebrate my son's birthday. Last min decision to treat him to a meal and drink... this place was perfect. Very friendly . Nothing was too much trouble . Great food. Desserts a must even if you are full from main course. Tia was lovely and they surprised us by a specially prepared birthday board and candles with my son's dessert . The restaurant is really well decked out with a welcome rustic edge and the music is spot on . Thank you Roadhouse you made the birthday just that bit more special .

Great place to stop for scrumptious locally sourced food. The facilities are clean and tidy. Our waitress Romy warmly welcomed us, served us quickly and made the effort to chat. I recommend this as a must stop there place, when travelling to Fishguard area, as there aren't many other places beyond. Thanks for a lovely time.

I have made several visits to The Roadhouse and have enjoyed them all. I love the decor, they have a great and varied menu, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food has always been delicious and served in a timely fashion, even on busy days. It is really well located for a road trip day visit on your way to west Wales or on the way back. Plenty of parking. Keep up the good work!

The service was slow. Coffee weak Salad was giant bowl of tasteless lettuce with a piece of what looked like carpet fluff in. tiny bits of cumberandpeppers. Falafel shop brought. Pavlova was a meringue nest frozen berry's defrosted and mushy with scoop of ice cream and artificial cream on top. Not a Pavlova! I also went end Nov. And had better service. But the chicken peri peri burger was dry and tasteless. My sister had scampi complete with 2 x chicken nuggets in! Good job she's not pescatarian.

To cut to the chase, a highly recommended restaurant for people that want quality and value for their money. Our food looked like their pictures, very pleased with the food, service, interior atmosphere and the views. Only one small dissapointment. The price of the drinks. We felt that the prices of the food were reasonable, the quality and quantity of the food left nothing to criticise. It was definately value for money. 10/10. £4 for a coke... I could never give the same rating for value for money. I know many restaurants charge around this mark, however if it was more reasonable like £3.50 or even £2.95... Then I think we would have marked this 11/10 £3.95 for a coke left us both trying to avoid drinking another due to the price, and you dont want that on your mind when your eating your lovely meals you serve up. I think anyone, any customer would agree. Our experience. Me and my partner just arrived in cardigan for a short holiday, we looked online to see what places there were to eat at... I usually spend an unmatched amount of time looking at reviews and pictures and prices in order to determine what establishment offers the best value for money. The pictures stood out when looking at roadhouse, so much that we travelled an hour to eat there. A big risk as if it turned out to be not up to scratch, we had probably felt dissapointed, BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. The food was very satisfying, I had a roadhouse breakfast which was huge, and cleanly presented, the plate screamed YUM. I Couldnt find a fault. Equally my partner ordered lasagne which was evidently home made, delicious AND well presented. Without doubt, this journey of ours left us feeling great. We thought the food, atmosphere and great service were all memorable and next time we are in the area, we know exactly where to go. Thank you

Food was poor, breakfast with cold tomatoes, hashbrown that was solid, poor quality sausage. Served by a very nice professional young lady who did apologise for the food.

I follow you on Instagram and was in awe of your Sunday Lunches and Lunchtime meals and yet we never got around to visiting. Well it was my birthday last week and so my mother and I decided it was the perfect excuse to have some nice food. I was a little skeptical because I was under the impression that the Roadhouse was expensive high quality food that was a little too posh for me and my two toddlers to come and destroy. It’s hard to find anywhere homely to enjoy a meal where they aren’t a disruption. Well we went regardless and were instantly welcomed by a warm and vibrant atmosphere. A lovely woman (Young, dark brown hair, I’m so sorry I forgot her name but I told her I was leaving a review so please be acknowledged if you remember me). Instantly we were seated in a secluded conservatory where there were toys and play things for my kids(huge relief). Full table service, great deals on the food and she even helped to make the final decision on two meals I really fancied. Me and my mother had the Beef Bourguignon. It was incredible. Tender and fresh, in fact all the meals coming out looked very homemade and delicious. The price was reasonable as well, you’d pay the same for basic pub grub but this was far more flavourful and with fresh ingredients, even with the same items on the menu. The desserts were also homemade and very tasty. We were checked on regularly and had all needs met. The environment was very clean, including the bathrooms and we found that the place itself was in general very family friendly. We cannot wait to come back and finally have that Sunday lunch! Thank you for your hospitality, this will be our usual place to go for high quality dinner dates in the future. (I wish I took photos of the food itself but instead I was so excited I just dived in haha. Please buy your waitress a drink, she deserved it)

The restaurant itself has a good vibe, and the staff were lovely. However, the food was a bit of a letdown. I was expecting a fantastic, interesting meal. But in reality it was a Weatherspoons grade plate of food, unfortunately. The portion sizes were quite good for the price, so wasn't too disappointed in the end. But considering the reviews I was expecting so much more. Again, the restaurant and waiting staff were brill, but I think the chef needs to have a rethink.

We had a volunteers meeting (the National Garden Scheme) here over lunch. Really good space, WiFi and the service was friendly, helpful and efficient. Food good and a relaxed atmosphere. I have recommended to friends and groups. It is a handy location, easy parking and ideal for a route stop! Thank you so much to the Roadhouse team!

Are here 3 weeks ago - Beautiful decor and chilled vibe… Food : However, we were VERY underwhelmed with our food… the food was extremely bland, we generally couldn’t believe how bland it tasted. The onion rings had a terrible burned taste to them and an aftertaste that we described as “dirty”- over used oil for sure. The food was overpriced for what you get… It really was bland and a waste of money. Drinks : The drinks were unbelievably priced… £4 for a 330ml of soda water & lime??! £4 for 330ml of Coca Cola Zero??!? Seriously, that is terrible. Not even a pint. Honestly, I’d be happy to resolve this and give you my contact information as we are just overall unhappy… feels like a waste of money. We even traveled 45 minutes to come here. Did not feel comfortable to tell the waitress staff due to slight rudeness and not wanting to cause any fuss.

Popped in on route for a cuppa as already eaten. Stunning location views, lovely welcolm. Tea was hot and tasted great served with a square of home made fudge which was so nice we bought two pots of it, one milk and one dark. Deff pop in for food next time we are passing.

Food was gorgeous and a tad more than we needed and they offered us takeaway boxes without us needing to ask! Staff were also extremely friendly and responsive. Atmosphere is relaxing and family friendly and even has a play area for kids and a nice garden. 10/10 will dine at again.

We were returning from a great day out at Pendine Beach and decided to try the Roadhouse. Arrived there about 5.00pm, we were met at the door by a very pleasant young lady. The food was well presented and hot, anod good portions. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

Had a fab meal here last Monday as family were visiting. First time here despite living nearby. Staff were great. Food was excellent and served quickly and reasonably priced. Cannot fault anything. My daughter actually went back last night with work colleagues. Can't wait to try the breakfast next. Thanks to all at The Roadhouse!

Called here for breakfast, friendly staff and quick service. Breakfast well cooked and tasty. Then called in on our way home, very busy as it was Sunday but got a table, enjoyed our afternoon coffee with cheesecake and apple crumble with custard. Delicious. The Sunday roast dinners looked great. All reasonably priced. Will definitely call again.

Excellent breakfast. Great service and very good food and coffee. Other meals are very good too for later times of day. Well worth stopping here if travelling the A40 en route to holidays or days out. Highly recommend

We stop here every year on the way to and back from Pembrokeshire show and the service and food are always first class, we really should call in more often than once a year! Always very helpful, polite staff and food cooked fresh to order with the minimum wait time, even when busy. I always compliment an establishment on good service if given but very rarely write a review, but times are changing I suppose and everyone needs to know!

Great location good produce But unfortunately it was pre cooked an left under a lamp to keep warm eggs were rock solid waiting ages for it to arrive so was expecting a good breakfast but very disappointed

I recently booked to eat at the road house and I must say the food was amazing, great portions and great quality, really helpful and friendly staff didn't have to wait long for our food to be served, my wife myself and our two boys really enjoyed it here and would definitely recommend the road house to family and friends and will definitely go back next time I'm I the area 👍😀

Food was amazing, the garlic bread is one of the best iv had, we all had different things and everything that came out look lovely and tasted even better, would definitely visit again, staff were also very friendly.

We happened to end up in Roadhouse on our trip and had an excellent breakfast. The big breakfast was really big and delicious. The sandwiches were also great. The interior is very nice, as is the service. Everything was very clean and the other guests also made a satisfied impression. Plenty of parking spaces available. I found it very comfortable in the Roadhouse. A small note: Personally, I would leave out the printed paper under the burgers. It tends to stick to the food, but that's not a problem.

We have been wanting to visit here for 2 years, and finally managed to! The food and service didn’t disappoint, fairly priced and the food is tasty. The service is very quick. Would recommend.

Good location for a restaurant with nice views, friendly staff, great music, even better food! My partner and I went to this restaurant while on holiday, it wasn't too busy or too loud, just perfect, they had a nice range of food but I had the burger (one of the best burgers I've had) and my partner had the hunters chicken which I sneaked a bit of as well which was also very tasty, would recommend to anyone and will be eating here again in the future. Roadhouse!

Very disappointing meal! 1st time here very low grade pub food half not even edible and much higher prices . Im quite happy paying 50 each for good pub style food and I eat out often locally. Servers are very pleasant and helpful so top Mark's for them! shame just utterly let down by the food.Tastes very precooked and comes out very quickly . Nice inside and good car park but due to the food won't be visiting again . I got a partial discount but not really bothered about the money .I was hopefull it would be another regular place to eat such a shame.

Went here for our first Mother’s Day with our newborn, Normally come quite often but last time we came before Mother’s Day the food was not the best then, but as we only live down the road we thought we’d give it the benefit of the doubt as the food use to to be so delicious, unfortunately the food on Mother’s Day was very disappointing again. The beef looked like it was pre sliced in packets, the veg was squished in to a bowl and when I mean squished it was just chucked in you could even see the spoon marks in the veg where it was pushed down so hard. Everything was precooked, When I cut into my stuffing it literally flew off my plate, Same with the Yorkshire pudding and the sausage was like rubber. The only thing that was nice was the mashed potato. It was very clear that it was all pre cooked as before we could finish our first drink the 3 courses were out, We were in and out of the pub within 35 minutes. there was no time given in between each meal. Very disappointing, and very sad to see it like this as we used to love coming here as a family for good food. (The Sunday dinner pictured on social media and the slideshow on the television in the bar area does definitely not look like the reality of it)
