Fabulous little intimate restaurant that served fabulous food. Great menu , great service and a lovely environment. Great for a quiet meal.

This restaurant is my favourite in Gravesend. Today we went as a family of 5 adults. The man serving is always attentive and very friendly. It’s not a huge restaurant but for me this adds to the appeal. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Each time I’ve been including today the food is delicious, brilliant chef 10/10. Also a plus for me several dishes come with mash my favourite and not chips which is great. I will be returning shortly thank you for a pleasant afternoon

Went with my wife and had a super meal. The waiter was really helpful and friendly. All the food was cooked fresh and plenty of it. The cheese and garlic flat bread was the best I've ever tasted.

Another great meal at this restaurant. Four of us having starters of bruschetta, mussels and king prawns. Mains Lamb, pesto chicken and seafood linguine. All food cooked fresh, piping hot and served with a smile from V the manager. Highly recommend.

We all enjoyed the delicious freshly cooked food we ordered, the service was excellent and we will definitely return. Some of us chose dishes from the Italian menu and others from the Lithuanian menu, all were delicious!

Surprisingly large variety of items on the menu, ate in at this restaurant mid afternoon. Food was wonderful, service was swift and friendly, and the pricing was very reasonable. Fantastic value for money and would certainly recommend.

I’m not one to post an absolute perfect score on restaurants. But this place is perfect! Great service and meals that were so fulfilling were the reason I scored this establishment as a great place to dine at. Out host was above reproach and catered to our party’s needs without hesitation. You must try this fine establishment out if you are n the Gravesend area for a dinner service. I will definitely be returning as I have never received such great food and service from an eatery before during my travels.

Just had the most amazing meal at R&M Italiano with my family. The whole experience was perfect from arriving to leaving the restaurant. We was greeted by Vee who immediately made us feel welcome. The decor has an inviting homely feeling and has been decorated to reflect what the food is all about, comfort, unique and wholesome. There was a large choice of beverages to suit all, especially the wine list, superb! The choice of food was vast, from the traditional meat dishes to a wide range of pasta and pizzas. My son had one of the Lithuanian dishes and was blown away with the flavours! There was not an empty plate in site! Desserts were heavenly, oh my!!! Thank you Monica, Ramunas for a truly unforgettable meal, we will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic food and generous portions. Extensive and creative menu with a variety of options - definitely something for everyone here. Service was excellent from “V” and the chef gets 10/10 from me too. We will definitely returning.

A fantastic meal had by all 4 of us in a lovely ambiance and the service was great. A lovely family birthday meal. This is the third time we have returned and will be again.

Another lovely meal with family tonight. Bruschetta and calamari starters, lamb, beef tenderloin and pizza for mains. You must give this great restaurant a try if you have never been there.

Fantastic meal last night. I have been to this restaurant several times and never had a bad meal. Food is always freshly cooked and piping hot. Can not recommend enough. There’s so much to choose from .

My family and I had a lovely lunch here today. The food was so delicious and the service was quick and efficient (Vee was our waiter). We all thought the interior was very classy, too.

The waiter appeared bother about taking our order. The starter was pizza bread with mozzarella cheese and garlic which tasted awful like someone sprinkled garlic powder on it. The second corse was bland and tasteless. Finally who has curry sauce on pasta in an Italian restaurant? Disappointing experience.

Visited here with some friends we hadn’t seen in ages. It’s very small, probably only about 8 tables which we liked as you could have a good catch up without loud background noise. There is a large Italian menu with pasta, pizza & meat & fish and a smaller Lithuanian menu which has a choice of pork & chicken dishes. Orders were taken promptly and efficiently by the waiter who didn’t speak perfect English (as mentioned in previous reviews) but clearly understood everything we asked for as the food came out exactly as ordered without him writing down what we wanted. The food was excellent. We ordered risotto, gnocchi, pizza and the steak plus starters & desserts with no long waits in between. All in all a very good evening and will defiantly go again

Visited yesterday. There were loads of people inside lucky we booked our table over the phone. Food fresh and indescribable taste. Very rare to find a good place to eat. Food looks like in beautiful picture. Definetly worth comming back. Wish I could go there more often 🤩

In Gravesend for a little shopping, stopped at R&M Italiano for lunch as looked very cozy and inviting enough for us to pop in. Food cooked to order, very tasty with good attentive service. Will definitely go back, thoroughly recommend.

A Birthday meal totally spoilt by an unprofessional waiter who was dressed in dirty jeans and t-shirt! This was the first AND LAST visit here. I initially orderd 'pork CUTLETS with vegatables' to be told by the waiter: "no cutlets ..its pork mince" ! what??? FALSE ADVERTISING - AND AGAINST UK CONSUMER LAW! ie: you cant advertise fresh fish and serve frozen fish. So I ordered the beef fillet with penne pasta and creamy sauce....when it came out I counted 5 pieces of beef which was 1cm long by 0.5cm wide by 0.3cm thick! THIS IS NOT BEEF FILLET - THEY WAS FROZEN PIZZA TOPPINGS....I sent the dish back and the 2nd order was the same: no beef fillet and the wiater said he will ask the chef to do a plate of fillet beef....he returned saying the chef said it has beef in the dish...APPALLING!! I asked the waiter if he would be happy paying for a beef filet dish with no beef fillet in it...after him trying to change the subject I kept asking him as he was avoiding my question..in the end he said "no i wouldnt". After that he cheeckly tried to charge me for the dish and had to tell him how disgusting the service was! I told him I wouldnt be paying for the dish or my drinks...and I didnt! Disgusting food. Disgraceful service. Dishonest and dirty waiter and chef. YOU HAVE NOW LOST 4 NEW CUSTOMERS ON OUR FIRST VISIT ! NOW HERES MY TIP: IF YOU WANT TO KEEP CUSTOMERS RETURNING FROM THEIR FIRST VISIT THEN DONT TRY RIPPING THEM OF WITH INFERIOR CUTS OF MEAT THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED !

Despite all the great ratings from tripadisor, the food was awfull. Ordered one pizza, scampi rings steak and fish fillet with vegetables.Steak was burned and all the food was so oily, no authentical taste, pizza not sliced for takeaway, after 1h was hard to bite and thow it to the bin. The waiter was not professional and wearing jeans and a t-shirt, never been to such restaurant so unprofessional. The restaurant itself is lovely, but food is not worh the money.

Hello My grandma invited me to RM Italiano restaurant in Gravesend. The pizza was delicious, the best of the best! Desert apple pie with ice cream appetising. The service excellent. I highly recommended this restaurant. I will back again soon🙂 Taras

The dinner was amazing, the waiter kept the restaurant open for us and they even brought staff back to cook our food as it was quiet and they were shutting, overall the best Italian experience and I would really recommend it, again the food was outstanding and I really recommend!!!

We had lunch at R and M Italiano today. The service was first class - friendly, helpful and attentive. The Restuarant reminded us of the many bistros that we visited while working in London - very pleasant indeed. We each had a starter and main course and we were delighted with our food. Well cooked and presented and absolutely delicious. There were so many options on the menu and we can’t wait to visit again to try something else.

I was looking forward to go there at the beginning. Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking. Whoever spoke to me on the phone, not once but three times, has been always unkind and unpleasant. Not a good welcome to start with, consequently I didn't feel comfortable to go there. I would highly recommend to work more on the service and your behaviour.

Excellent meal tonight. We chose to sample the Lithuanian menu rather than Italian and ordered the pork roast with cheese, mushroom ,mash and steamed veg. Very flavoursome and recommend. Lovely place. When you just come through the doors you van feel that you come into diferent place than usual. Feel closer to Italy. Nice warm lights. Delicious fresh food. You won't find any similar pizzas like they do. I tried lamb which was served with delicious orange sauce, couple of tasty peaces with mascarpone and potato mash with blue cheese. Definetly come back.

Eat there on last Sunday afternoon with six others. Top marks for service, quality of food, quantity and value for money. Served by V and nothing was too much for him, made for a great experience. There was nothing l could criticise but so much l could praise. Would definitely visit again.

Ate here today with my family, ages ranging from 9 to 70, and we all had a really lovely meal. Portions are really generous, everything is cooked fresh and tasted fresh, and the service from our waiter V was fantastic. Drinks are well priced too. Great independent restaurant with a cosy feel. We booked a table for 1930. Sat down and ordered by 2000. Meals came out a few at a time, with two people waiting until 2130 for their food. The waiter apologised (stating they only have a small oven so can only cook two pizzas at a time).

We paid a family visit here to celebrate a birthday. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was good. The waiter was most helpful and helpful and went to pains to describe some items on the menu that we were unsure about. Will definitely visit again.

After reading the glowing reviews, we thought it looked an ideal place to stop for a quick dinner when passing through Gravesend.We wasn’t disappointedWe had Bruschetta to start, the mozzarella and Parma ham bruschetta was lovely, the tomato one was a bit odd(a thick slice of tomato, no garlic or basil) but it was ok!However the Wood-fired Pizza was really very good, we had the pepperoni and the Parma ham pizzas. Service was friendly, and the end bill reasonable.One little downside for me, I don’t like paper table cloths, but that wouldn’t effect my rating.Would definitely go back.

We only found out about R&M; around 2 months ago and this is already our 4th visit. The menu is extensive & varied and on all 4 visits, we found the food to be of an excellent standard.

We are regular guest at R&M;, and have never been disappointed, the welcome from V is always friendly, the food always tasty and everything cooked perfectly. The restaurant was busy on Friday evening but the service was still great and efficiant

A friend and I ate here last night, my second time, and we had a really lovely meal. We both chose pasta, I had linguine with seafood and my friend had penne with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. The food arrived piping hot and was very tasty and was very reasonably priced at £11.90 for the linguine. By the time we left at about 7.30, the restaurant was full which was really nice to see. I would definitely recommend it.

Hi, sorry to report this as excellent meal a few weeks ago. Went Wednesday 18th Dec. Ladies seafood risotto very good. Beef tenderloin (known as filet) rubbish. First plate sent back after literally” chocking” on a raw piece of very tough steak. Other diner has commented to me poor cut and visit best forgotten. I did give restaurant the opportunity to reply but they seem oblivious to my request. Such a shame as front of house very good. Will I go back or recommend, not sure
