The best I've tried in Bristol!

Apart from my Jamaican Grandmother and my Mother, this has to be the best Caribbean food I’ve ever tasted. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be using again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend for Carribbean food! Brown stew chicken with rice and salad was fantastic! Curry chicken with r n s also good. Happy with the portion size too! To find the place, G.maps gets you there, look for the banner, and go down the steps and knock on the door 👍🏼

??? How can this place be so inconsistent, ok so here we go. As usual you will wait nearly two hours for your food, regardless of the reviews below. I believe them to be fake. The brown stew chicken and ox tale was really nice, but greasy and the flavour was not balanced. So just passable ish. Now for the fried chicken, what on earth are they doing ? It's nasty greasy not crispy, taste off... BUT the biggest issue is jerk chicken, you cannot dry rub a piece of chicken then oven cook it and cover it in jerk BBQ sauce and sell it as jerk chicken. It's a DISGRACE ALSO when you can't even cook plain white rice and dumplings, you should either just shut the shop. Or learn to do it properly. I'd stay well away from this want to be Carribbean food joint and stick to the usuals. This place has a lot to do and change before it can call it's self anything close to authentic. Not all bad, but when the majority isn't authentic or even close. It makes us people who know what the real thing taste like, feel like we have been cheated, lied to and tricked out of our money... Massive shame, you will never see my money again Let down

Great food, fried chicken, curry Goat, Ackee Saltfish and jerk chicken very flavourful. Portion sizes were perfect, liked the fact that you could mix and match on mains! Food came quicker than expected. Will definitely be ordering again 👌

Good Caribbean food. I loved the sea food boil, had it twice now, really tasty plenty of good spices😋. My kids enjoyed the hot chicken wings, fried chicken, dumplings with rice and curry goat. Good price The size of the portions is excellent. 🙂

So glad I clicked on "Too good to go". OMG tasty! Rice and peas, pepper sauce. plantain, yam, Irish potato shrimp and, wow, surely THE best fry chicken in Bristol. Don't hesitate to try RJs wonderful food people.. It's the downstairs door! Keep up the amazing work you guys.

This was so delish! Picked up off Too Good To Go, and it was one of tastiest Caribbean dishes I’ve tried in Bristol. Great portion size to. Will definitely be back, thanks guys!
