COULDNT HANDLE THE SMELL.... Looks nice and cosy initially when you walk in but it's not long till you begin to pick up a nasty smell emitting from the carpet which looked dirty and felt sticky especially by the bar.... smelt foul and rotten, probably from absorbing all the spills from drinks. If you're gonna have a carpet atleast get it proffesionally cleaned regularly... So disappointed because the place looks great and the drinks menu looked interesting but just couldn't handle the foul smell which the staff seem to love to inhale... we left not even after 10 mins it STANK that bad. And apparently its well known for having a stench... so makes me wonder why nothing has been done...

This once was one of the best places for a drink in Belfast. Buzzcut barmaid behind the bar needs to learn customer service and manners.

If you’re wanting a casual cocktail be wary about how you’re dressed! A tank top during hot weather was too informal for this place. It was either cover up or get out. Maldron Hotel’s bar across the road was a much better option.

Very approachable staff, friendly and accommodating. This lovely barman made us Long Island ice teas as we didn't really fancy anything off the cocktail list. Really nice place to visit. Sexy, lush, decadent decor. Hope to visit again soon.

This place IS AMAZING! I have been a big time fan of speak easy designs with a bit of a modern twist and flare and this place was an epic mix of the two. First off - drinks: Decently priced and VERY VERY delicious cocktails. I had the flight attendant cocktails, SUPERB! (not the biggest fan of rum cocktails however the bartender convinced me to give it a shot and it was a wise decision) Secondly - Music: No boring/ ugly sounding weird remixes, just proper tunes that are dance ready and have some uplifting vibes. Thirdly - Crowd: Extremely friendly and inviting crowd that were chatty, social and opening, it was like everyone either knew everyone there or for those that they didn't know, they made sure to get to know by the end of the night. Friendly place, fantastic people and awesome experience. Thank you Rita! I'll be back again soon!

Conor was a fabulous mixologist both times I've been here and has been able to create great cocktails matched to my tastes.

I had a section of my hen party here and was absolutely blown away. Stunning cocktails; beautiful decor; delicious charcuterie boards; great music; and most importantly, wonderful staff. Special shout-out to Ritas management (who helped organise and kept everything together); Stephen and Conor behind the bar; and as the security staff at the door- who were all so lovely and kind and fun. Rita’s really made our night. Thank you! I couldn’t recommend this place more than I do ♥️

Paid $11 euro for 1 margarita. Margarita was ok, they put 1 giant icecube in it after i asked on the rocks, Way over priced. The bar itself is nice, bartender was ok. Not friendly but also not unfriendly. They have happy hour but only certain drinks

Went with friends and a really good choice. We ordered cheese board and anti pasti platter highly recommend. Staff helpful professional and friendly. We will be back again

have been dying to go here for YEARS!! and somehow sadly I just never have been! the wait was worth it though! was here last night and the vibe and atmosphere was great! I love the interior it's so cosy! and I love the dim lighting and moody vibes! haha the music was great! nothing but absolute tunes all night which was fab! 😂🙌👏 which I wasn't quite expecting tbh, and it was just such a great vibe the whole time we were there! the cocktails were great! I asked for a Pina colada which isn't on the menu and the bar tender happily accommodated! and it was the BEST Pina colada I have ever had! sooo good! 😍🙌👏💕 and I've had a few haha 😂 the bartender making my drink was also amazing! it was like entertainment watching him make it! I was literally hypnotised! 😂👏 he really put a lot of effort in to it which was great seeing someone who actually seemed to love what they are doing and nice to see a little bit of love and care go in to what you're getting! very skilled it was awesome! 🙌👏

Barman asked me for 39.50 for the four drinks I ordered. I questioned the price as it seemed too much . Came back to tell me it was 27.50. be on your guard of being overcharged. Always ask before you pay.

Visiting on a Sunday, says open from 15.00, closed. Doorman next door said opens at 1700

Beautiful bar and staff are friendly and helpful...lovely decor in the heart of belfast

This bar has unusual decor, sofas, stools-high and low and comfy chairs. The ambience is relaxed and table service is available. This was a return visit post covid restrictions and we had both excellent service, cocktails and craft beers. Gin is a speciality and recommend you experiment with new brands while here. Also the prices remain reasonable. Our sole request for management; consider reducing slightly the volume of your background music as it was too loud even for people sitting on the same sofa to hear what their companion was communicating.

Really good. First time here. Nora really really looked after us with great reviews of drinks. Very impressive employee! Drink good..warm on an Easter Saturday. The place was clean and had a really diverse clientele - various ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. Overall, loved it. Thanks for a great experience.

Usually a reliable watering hole, now just a bit of a hole. Poor seating arrangements forces people to perch beside tables and not sit at the bar. Drinks are still good, well mixed, and reasonably priced. Tends to the "girls night out" crowd which detracts from its preferred image of cocktail bar. Was better and could be again. A little more discrimination on clientele. Also a revamp in decor is needed - rarely seen a more raggedy carpet outside of a Wetherspoons 🤣

The most amazing afternoon. Popped in for 1, and stayed all day thanks to the excellent customer service from Joe and his team. A very knowledgeable crew who went above and beyond 2 meet our needs. To watch these guys at work is specular, they are passionate and skillfull at cocktail making. Their natural performance behind the bar looks magical. Great selection of drinks on the menu and where happy to makes ones on request that where off the menu. The ambiance and music set the scene for a thoroughly enjoyable experience .😊 I have already recommended to family and friends and we will most definitely be back at the next opportunity. 🥂 (Ladies toilet cubicals a teeny weeny bit tight!😳)

Nice spot for cocktails! The bar staff will happily make you a cocktail even if it's not on the menu. Overall a cute little bar with character.

Nice quirky venue and the drinks are average to good but the Sunday experience was poor. The bar was empty, they didn't have common ingredients then when we got our drinks we were told to finish up because they were closing...at 9pm.

Love to visit Rita's for a cocktail. It has a fun, quirky vibe and the drinks and service are really good. A bit pricier but nice for a treat.

Nice atmosphere. Good variety of drinks & cocktails. It attracts a more mature crowd. Only issue is that they don't have enough seating. It's not a great layout, and you often find yourself in competition with other people "racing to get there first" for any available seats.

Expect loooong wait and wee boys who appear to be auditioning for Britain's got talent in a science coat and no smile. Drinks aren't half bad once you receive one. Glad I finally went to Rita's, but no hurry to return. :)

Visited Rita's for the first time with my boyfriend on a Saturday night and we were extremely impressed with how skilled and knowledgeable the bartenders were! We asked them for tricky cocktails that weren't on the menu and they made them straight away without question. We can't wait to visit again 😊

Rita's is an wonderful little place that attracts a great crowd. The bar staff are incredibly friendly and interactive, not only that, but make absolutely amazing drinks. Attention to detail in each drink and will even discuss with you your own preferences to find out what type of drink they can mix for you, that you'd enjoy. I personally enjoy getting the Zombie out of here and they make it incredibly tasty, with a wonderful kick. Drop intk this place for a drink and take in the amazing crowds.

Love the decor. My only real complaint is that I spend too much everytime I come here cause the cocktails are so good and I want to try them all! Most of the staff are great but I have experienced some that are only there for the pay cheque which is unfortunate for the good ones who pick up the slack, you guys know who you are and you do a great job.

Was visiting my boyfriend in Belfast And he took me to Rita’s. Thoroughly enjoyed our expierence. Jamie and Colly made our visit very special with their customer service and banter behind the bar. Would highly recommend.

Looks like a nice bar but it was so busy I didn't stay.

Really good cocktails, a tad expensive but up market. Would go back if had money to spend there.
