Excellent vegan food, coffee and bread. Using quality ingredients with attention to detail. Understand your going - but you'll be missed. Where will I get such good cake now? Awaiing your next chapter with baited breath :)

Always greeted with a smile. Everything i buy is absolutely gorgeous. Hard working and professional team. Ulverston is very lucky to have Ripe on the main street. An asset to the town

If you are looking for gluten free and/or vegan options then do visit Ripe! We rarely have such choice and couldn’t help but take away some cakes aswell as eating in! Lovely counter presentation and helpful and welcoming staff.

We buy sourdough bread from Ripe every weekend…. It’s delicious & not too heavy. There are always so many interesting & temping foods on offer… highly recommended!

Chanced upon Ripe while on a recent trip to Ulverston. Great range of veggie and vegan friendly food along with an extensive drinks menu. Bit lacking in space so I can imagine that finding a table when it's busy would be tricky, though definitely worth a look.

Great veggie and vegan choices, cakes taste better than they look! Lovely coffee and hot chocolate... sadly the staff seem unable to smile, say hello or show any kind of friendly emotions!

All the pasties, cakes, lunch pots are made daily on the premises. Very inventive baking and combinations of ingredients, bring own mug for 25p off 😂

Have used this Bakery / Cafe / Deli on multiple occasions - for take away goodies - but for the first time sat in for Breakfast. I was pleased to have a Chia pudding made with oat milk, covered in apple sauce & topped with an attractive sprinkling of tiny dried purple flowers. My partner had porridge with raspberry sauce. Both of us had coffee …. With a huge range of milk choices available. The selection of baked goods varies all the time (done in small batches). The bean pasties are wonderful, so are the curried chick pea samosas. Excellent Sourdough bread. 2 side benches that can sit 3-4 each.
