This its the way to spend money on here I don’t recommend to order foot here please 1 food its coming cold 2 never come right order missing 3 late Please do not spend money here for nothing

Love the food and service is fast but sometimes place is abit dirty

I recently visited Rios Peri Peri Chicken, and I was blown away by the amazing flavors! The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and packed with that signature peri peri spice. I loved the variety of spice levels, catering to both mild and heat lovers alike. The sides were just as delicious, especially the peri peri fries and rice. The portions were generous, and the food was fresh and full of flavor. On top of that, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're a fan of bold, mouthwatering flavors, Rios Peri Peri is a must-try! I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Seems they decided to serve me the worst chicken fillet burger ever. It was either a day old or severely overcooked - this should never have been given to a customer. Absolutely horrendous.

My best friend took me to Rio’s and the atmosphere is lovely but food is most important, I have ordered Chicken and Rice Box and it was absolutely delicious, so juicy and tasty, would definitely come and try other menu items.

Best chicken rice box Watford 10/10

Made a just eat order driver did not deliver food to my address, so I called the restaurant and they were unsympathetic to help and very disappointed in the customer service

Something has changed with th paneer rice box. The rice is slightly undercooked, paneer slightly overdone and there is also not as much sauce as there used to be. It has been like this the past 2 times I’ve ordered. Maybe you have a new chef?

Chicken is fine but the wings are not so good and usually go straight into the bin, can't you exclude them or create a new platter for just chicken and chips?

Very bad they said they had no choc cake and will send carrot cake but nothing called the shop said they will send it out but nothing arrived won’t be using them again back to Pepe peri peri instead. Rio you had so much of my business but nothing called more embarrassing treatment

The food is really good but I noticed that they are not HMC halal anymore. I walked passing by other just halal takeaways later to realise that other non HMC halal takeaways had good options too.

Chips were unreal, always are! the chick rice box was very bland, especially the rice....burger was a bit grizzly.... disappointed.

I come here like 50% of the time for my lunch break, and it's always amazing food.

Food is good but no spoon with salad and no tissues with food.

I've ordered chicken and rice ( extra hot flavor) but instead they gave me a different flavor which is too tangy it tasted like I'm having concentrated lemon juice . I've asked one of the staff if they've mistakenly prepared a different flavor which is not extra hot I'm sure. The person at the till haven't told me if it was wrong flavor he just took the box and went into the kitchen and told he will add more sauce so that the lemon flavor will not be so strong . I asked him to prepare a fresh one ( extra hot ) . The other person from the kitchen offered me to prepare a fresh one (extra hot) . Even the 2nd box was filled with too much sauce which was tasing like a strong lemon flavor. The staff were very busy to close , as we came after 10 . I heard about this place through my friend he told me it tastes good but I'm not at all satisfied, might be due to closing time. Even the customers who were on the other table were complaining the same thing about the sauce that it's tasting tangy. Something is wrong with the quality of the sauces. So disappointed.

Order missing and moreover it was up to the mark.

Best peri peri spot in Watford by a mile

This restaurant is just perfect!! We are French tourists and we received a remarkable welcome: they listened to our requests despite the language differences, were very generous and very kind! I 100% recommend this restaurant, the food is very good 🤩

Staff can’t speak the country language which is English taken order wrong asked for meals and only put through burgers the rude man wants me to pay again full price for chips and drinks smelly staff not happy they need to go learn the language and have a shower before working

Great chicken and flavour. Only problem, parking is restricted, although you can eat in but lots of deliveries available.

The burgers were really spicy, this was not what we ordered . The meat was not cooked properly and pink ! couldn’t eat the food .

Regular Rio consumer but that’s going to change soon. Went down in quality since past few orders. Delivering wrong and incomplete orders, food quality terrible, dry chicken with no sauce. Cold old fries. Sorry, not your customer anymore. What a shame !

We are regulars at Rio’s but unfortunately this order disappointed. The burger was dry, not saucy and the chicken we ordered despite being ‘hot’ flavour was very bland, not spicy at all.

chicken was raw and a missing item — the one star is given ONLY for the sauce cuz that was pretty good; i’d give zero stars otherwise lol EDIT: i went another time and got staph food infection and vomited all over my bed and in the toilet, but im still going back because it’s the best chicken in town. sucks about their lack of food regulations though

I got some portions of wings here I’m surprised in that I got end of the wing a little piece with bone without meet. I opened it and they counted this as a wing it’s really shameful. And one more thing is the quality and quantity is changed it’s not like same before

Went to KFC next door and they had no chicken! So ended up here and was pleasantly surprised - prompt service and food was better value, hot and significantly larger portion - only had 3 pieces and chicken and chips but will be using again and KFC have lost a customer

The Food is absolutely delicious. The Family Platter is amazing to have and provides a great value. I have been taking that for a long time. Ramadhan offers were great value as well. Absolutely love this place.

The food and service were great however reading the delivery notes would be the icing on the cake! If followed then sleeping babies wouldn't wake up! Food for thought for future late deliveries!

i wanted Mcdonalds. then changed my mind to Pepes. They have bad reviews recently so I thought I'd try this. The smell and taste of lighter fluid was unbearable. 1 piece of chicken with barely and meat and the other actually had good meat. but I could not get past that odour and taste. I'll avoid in the future...You should too, unless you are a fuel fanatic!

I received my order after 2h waiting…. Because the driver sent it to different adress. I had to call several times the restaurant to find out where my food is. When the food came… the hot wings was dry and cold….

Hot Grilled Chicken always very tasty.

The chicken was overcooked like a brick, someone must have cooked that chicken for an hour. I ordered ‘extra extra hot’ and it wasn’t even spicy, either they got my order wrong or their spicy levels are misleading. Despite that, the flavour of the sauce was good and the chips were good.

Usually my order always comes on time and is lovely yday when I ordered they got my order totally wrong & food was also stone cold.. disappointed to say the least

Fried chicken in burger was tough,rubbery and did not taste fresh. Almost inedible. Also they should mention on app that it is spicy. Chips were burnt. Grande burgers had good flavour but the fillet was a bit small for the bun.

The flavour of the Hot Grilled Chicken and Hot Grilled Chicken Wings is very good. Also the fried chicken is nice.

Fantastic customer service, food amazing flavour, garlic and chilli dips freshly made and were delicious - peri peri chicken and wings mouthwatering flavour🤩 , spicy wings crispy and tender and peri peri fries are a must for any meal, first time ordering from here, an amazing experience 🤩 will definitely be ordering again soon

I had the burrito which was not made very well - missing some of the ingredients inside and squashed at the bottom of the bag. I also asked for ketchup but got this weird brown sauce instead. Other than that everything else was good.

Ordered 2 regular chicken burgers and was given 2 spicy burgers. Couldn’t be eaten as no one eats spicy burgers. Steak burgers were okay.

Was a loyal customer but will never order from here again. The manager in Watford rio branch is a person who really needs to be trained on how to talk to customers. Their rice was tasting so bad and foul on 12th Jan and I had contacted them to report it but instead the manager kept yelling and teaching me that it is plain rice and will taste like that rather than listening to me. They don't value even their regular customers nor do they accept any feedback

The only problem was delivery person knocked on wrong door so will put a note when I place order next time.
