Whatta pub!!!! Walked by yesterday and it was closed but tonight - absolutely rocking. They had a jam session and the landlord sang the last few numbers. Bloody brilliant pub - sad we don’t live here. Understand they also do meals but we didn’t eat here so can’t comment. Fabulous pub with excellent service and a banging atmosphere

My wife sang I stayed just up the road from here. We tried Monday and Tuesday to go but they were closed both days. Even though their online times said they will be open. They had a board outside that said they would be open too. But no - disappointed but more annoying at the wrong information. We walked there as well.

We stayed in Bishopsteignton at the vineyard and walked down one evening for a drink. Glad we choose this pub, not only because it was the closest but good service, good choice of beers and were able to sit out the front in the summer evening with a lovely view down the lane. Family with two kids and made very welcome. Food had finished serving but as we only wanted a drink this was not an issue.

The Ring of Bells is a country pub with nothing fancy. There is a small bar area and a dining area down a few steps from the bar. It is basic, no table cloths or anything else but the food is really good and plentiful. It seems to be home cooked with fresh vegetables; broccoli, cabbage and carrots with a beef and ale pie which had a delightful short crust pastry lid. The meal was served by a very friendly waitress and to pay just on £20 for two meals and drinks is very reasonable but don't expect "plush" A visit before 20.00 (8.00 pm) is recommended.

The RING OF BELLS in Bishopsteignton is just a 5 minute drive from Teignmouth or Shaldon and is set in the centre of the village with lovely views across the teign estuary from the front of the pub where there are a few seats outside. We've visited a few times over the last year and always get a warm welcome from the Landlord and always enjoy a lovely home-cooked meal at very reasonable prices. The menu is traditional pub food (nothing fancy) and the meals are always well presented, really tasty and exceptional value. The atmosphere in the pub is always really pleasant with a bar area (friendly natives) and a separate informal dining area. TIP: For an evening meal don't arrive too late as the kitchen closes at 8:00. A 'proper pub' serving 'proper grub' and excellent keg beers - keep it up!

Met up with family as we had come down to visit. We were very surprised 😯 with the sloop, being a hungry horse we are used to them being noisy and dirty. We were so surprised and we were allowed to take our 🐶 in. The staff were lovely and most importantly so was the food.

We was on a pub tour of the area and passed this on a way to another pub and thought “oh this looks quaint” sometimes the most impromptu pubs are the best and this one certainly is! Four ales were on draft we opted for the salcombe gold Which was excellently kept. I loved the laid back atmosphere with dog friendly sofas. They have a beautiful boxer dog named boots who greets you on arrival who is loving in nature with people and dogs. Very chilled and dog friendly and I will certainly visit again and stay for longer when I’m next in the area. Whatpub online does not hype this place is much as it should.
