A regular here. Love the panini's and hot chocolate. decent price.

Not good. Not clean. No lock on men's toilet door. Toilet hadn't been cleaned in god knows how long. Lesson learned, won't be back.

Lovely little coffee shop and cafe. Beautiful fruit scone straight from the oven I was assured by the gentleman who served me - obviously well liked by the locals who he welcomed and chatted to amusingly. Great atmosphere and topically decorated including having its own wee library. Great

On holiday, shopping the stores on High street. I had my family with me. We were stopping in to get coffee, I happened to walk in ahead of my family and I made a beeline to the bathroom. The owner stopped me and said " lassy the bathrooms are for paying customers only " I quickly said my family is in their way in to buy coffee... I was like WTH? If I didn't have to go so bad I would have left and bought nothing. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Beware On the flip side the coffee wasn't bad.

Excellent coffee. Good portions. Lovely fruit scones and a good selection of yummy cakes and tray bakes

We regularly visit Riggs for coffees and paninis. The coffees are excellent and the paninis are the best we've had (the basil makes the difference). The owner is always happy to chat and we enjoy the experience.

Wish we had read the reviews. Owner is mental - insisted on changing both of our orders because he “knows better”. Toilets were disgusting. Avoid

Very shabby not chic ! Owner a bit miserable, not too welcoming. Popped in for a quick coffee, wondering it was so quiet, the place is just shabby

I think the owner is going for a shabby chic look, unfortunately the place is just shabby. Coffee was ok though.

My friend and I went in for lunch the other day, no baguettes or roast beef although they were still showing on the menu. Thinking what else could we order, the owner started shouting at us that noone could come into his cafe and shake their head at him, didn't think we had. He ordered us out of his cafe followed by a rant in a foreign language. A very, very rude man. We won't ever be back, plenty other places to eat in Falkirk.

I popped in on the morning of 10/01. Place was empty ordered coffee and sat down. Immediately noticed how dirty the place was! Floor hasn’t seen a hoover in some time and glass table was dirty. The place also had a very unpleasant smell. The gentleman who served me did not sound like a well man as he spent most of the time I was there in the back coughing and bringing something up in the most unpleasant way!!

I cannot recommend Riggs enough, lovely place for a bite to eat and drink when you're in Falkirk but there is definitely a better experience if you're eating in, sort of place you enjoy your food at over running in and out. Food has always been lovely and the counter service means that you get a good look at all their cakes!

Trying to support local businesses but this was my first visit and last. I wish I'd read the reviews first. The owner is mad and incredibly rude. The place was filthy. I watched a customer clear and clean a table to sit down without even a thank you, just a complaint about how his sink was already full of dishes. Then he asked if she wanted her usual! I dont understand the attraction to return.

If I could get away with giving no stars I would.my disabled daughter was desperate for the toilet so we popped in.rather rudely the man behind the counter refused and said it was for customers only.surely rules can be bent

While out with my young kids looking for a little pit stop for tea. Came across shouting and disgusting language from the owner of this cafe to a worker only doing his job for a close by shop. The things he was saying to this guy Effing and blinding and making unwarranted comments about his appearance was disgusting. This continued as he made gestures to him from inside his shop. Good on the guy for standing up for himself as no one should be spoken to like this. He didn’t even give the guy a chance to explain just went shouting from the start. Will never spend a penny in that cafe and I will be telling my family and friends to stay clear. Better cafes around Falkirk that have more respectful owners.

Well where do I start with this. I was just about to visit this cafe yesterday morning when I heard a commotion outside. There was a lot of scaffolding on the pavement outside the shop which it turned out to be used for the cash convertors next door. I saw one worker in his van and the abused he was recieveing from the cafe owner was unreal, from showering him with very personal insults to screaming profanities in the middle of the high street. It even carried on inside the cafe with horrible gestures towards the worker through the shop window. I've never seen such bad professionalism from a shop owner in my life. I'll never spend a penny in that again. If that was the other way around the worker would be in a cell right now. Disgusting behaviour.

Lunch visit. Friendly, lovely wrap and coffee. Suggestion would be, larger coffee cups but will defo be back.

Owner is rude and aggressive. Coffee is tripe.

We went in for lunch towards the end of the lunch time period, unfortunately that soup was finished. However we ordered two baked potatoes, and minced pie and a empire biscuit along with drinks. When the baked potatoes arrived they were full to brim with fillings and a large helping of salad. Overall the food was was excellent quality and value for money with owner throwing an extra mince pie good measure. Definitely worth another visit with friendly owner.

It's such a wonderful little coffee place, cozy, comfy and it made me feel like I was at a dear close friend. The staff was so warm and friendly. The place was not only all those things but also spotless, the toilet facilities were impeccable. The coach was incredibly comfortable, I just love it! And the most wonderful thing is that the coffee was so delicious and pretty that I really took my time enjoy every wee bit of it. The prices were pretty good. I can't wait to go back.

disgusting coffee, dirty toilets, cold, no music ... terrible

We visited Riggs Coffee House for late lunch yesterday, and it was delicious! Baked potatoes with plenty of filling and fresh side salad, followed by cakes. Coffee was the best quality, and I'm quite fussy about my coffee! Owner was friendly and made us feel welcome, even though it was later in the day. Would certainly hope to return.

Popped in. Had a very nice latte. Husband had an Americano. Comfy seats. Nice atmosphere. Big double window which is great for people watching! Will definitely return.

Avoid!!! Owner or staff member is crazy. I was in the shop today to get breakfast and dry off. I plugged my phone into the charger and instantly the guy shouts over for me to make an order (the place has 2 customers at best so was not exactly stuck for space). I had just taken my jacket off and put bags down so was pretty rude to hurry me along. I went to order but then told the guy to leave it actually as would rather go somewhere where they don't rush you. Well..... The guy chases me out of the shop screaming and swearing at me. Was completely insane, customer and people on the high Street watching him scream at me. I don't understand what on Earth is wrong with him but imagine treating customers like that!! Go somewhere that actually cares about providing a service.

What a rude individual the owner of this place is. No customer service skills at all. I entered here to purchase a take away coffee and was met by this rude individual. What had I done wrong? I headed towards the toilet before purchasing a take away coffee. Personally I find it far easier to pee without holding a cup hence why I was opting to purchase after the event. To be eventually told to f**k off by this owner. I'm all for shopping local and using small and independent businesses but won't be back in here.

Friendly staff - NOT!!! the elderly man in the cafe today refused my wee granddaughter the use of the toilet even tho she was desperate! Sometimes rules CAN be bent!!! Certainly won't be recommending anyone give this place a try...AVOID ,AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Have always came into this establishment with my mother for a coffee & sandwich at lunchtime. Today i went myself for a baguette at lunch time and was very impressed. The food looked lovely on the plate & also plentiful. Always visit when downtown as the coffee is always great aswell.

Fantastic father daughter duo served us today. Made to feel very welcome. Even had a wee sausage and water for the pup. Will definitely be back.

Visited on a quiet morning with a pal. Nice clean, open environment, with plenty of seats. Good priced baguettes with a choice of fillings (some veggie). Nice range of teas and coffees. Can't say fairer...

The owner of this coffee shop seriously needs to review his treatment of customers. I was here with my sister and he was extremely rude, snatching her plate away when he got her order wrong and was argumentative regarding the bill. We have been in here before and had a long wait to be served, the service was disorganised. Food was ok but we won’t be back.

Popped in for lunch on passing when in town with my mother. Lovely little shop and a very appeasing set up. The gentleman who runs the place was very very friendly and was happy to help with anything you wanted. We both had the soup and Sandwich. The soup was lovely full of flavour. The sandwich was fresh made and he didn't have skimp on the filling. The coffee was nicely presented and was rich and full of flavour. Looking at the menu he wasn't expensive and had a wide range of products and wasn't expensive. I will be returning even of its not for food but just a cup of coffee

As coffee and cafe lower, this was the worst coffee and cafe experience ever I can say. The table we sat was full of dirty cups and I tried to help the staff by taking these cups to counter but surprisingly the barista (also I assumed the owner of the place) didn't even thank for this as if it was like my duty. I ordered tea and flat white which I can say the worst one I have ever had. As one who has long experience in working in coffee shops, I didn't even think the barista knew what he was doing. The barista could not count the total on two different tills and tried to do this on calculator. I made the payment by card and waited for the barista to give me my card and receipt but he was trying to prepare food for another customer and not even behind the till. After a while, I decided to take my card back and receipt and left the merchant copy on the counter and went back to my seat. When I sat down, I noticed that the cups were very much dirty and I wished that I ordered the drinks in take away cups. After all these, we were not even contacted by the staff while we were sitting and leaving the cafe. All I can assume is that I don't think the appearance of tourists in this place is appreciated as the barista was friendly to other local senior people as we were not even asked how our drinks were and thanked while we were leaving. I guess this is how this cafe is still there otherwise with this attitude, it is not possible for this place to last for long.

Best Cappuccino in town, a very friendly service

Lovely place, great food, friendly service. Highly Recommended.
