Ordered online and arrived for collection only they had no idea of our order. Had to show them the email, and they still got the order wrong. Worst part was the food. Really bland and cold. All looked and tasted barely cooked. Rice had no soy sauce in it, duck was pink and covered in wobbly fat, the dough in the sweet and sour chicken balls was still wet and just about cooked. 6 pieces of duck in the dish and 10 mushrooms. Rice used to be brilliant a couple of years ago but really gone down hill. Won't be back.

New Year Debacle. Oh dear. Booked on line at 11am for New Years Eve collection at 8pm. Food was finally available at 9.10pm. Up to 15 people arrived during this period and had the same experience. If you order online, pay on collection so you can cancel when the inevitable delay occurs. It's a shame the food is not the subject of the review as that's quite good, but I won't be back for an event.

Just had a dinner here, excellent service with delicious foods, staff are amazing and very friendly. Overall had a very good service.

Very Poor food first time from this restaurant Prawns had the shells on …duck had all the wobbly fat on cashews nuts were burnt and black Sweet & sour sauce tasted off Noodles were over cooked Pawn toast was nearly black The crispy chicken was good that is why I gave one star

Cold. Bland. Thick Lumps of yellow fat in the duck curry, no spice. Pale greasy chips. Noodles, rice and chicken balls were as expected Blue light worker saving hard to treat family. How disappointing Nearly £50 and you’d think you’d get crackers. Won’t be back

Told one hour delivery- called again after an hour and informed the food was out with their driver. Phoned again after one and half hours- ‘We’re busy and the food is out for delivery’ TWO hours passed and still no food !!!! Called again, lied to again! Food finally arrived 2 hours 10 minutes after original order! No apology No honesty in their responses and an utter joke of a service!

I had the pleasure of dining at Rice Chinese, and it was truly an experience. The flavours were authentic, bold, and beautifully balanced. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, from the perfectly seasoned Kung Po Chicken and fresh and flavourful Hot and Sour Soup. The presentation of the food was impeccable, and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of traditional and modern decoration. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their extensive menu.

Good food. We had set menu B and no complaints. Excellent service Draft beer be nicer than small 330ml bottles.

Great takeaway food. Hot and Sour Soup was fresh and tasty. Crispy Beef and Singapore Fried Rice superb. Efficient delivery service.

The food was delicious but they did get the order wrong twice firstly the missed out an item and then they got an order of a curry without mushrooms wrong but to their credit they did fix both of these issues and were very apologetic

My food was undercook horrifically, bar staff were the only nice ones, atmosphere was boring and dull, tripped over some metal pole at the front never want to go there again

The floor works were rude, the two staff in the bar were friendly and kind fook was under cooked or wrong apon ordering online,

Very friendly staff and warm welcoming. The speed to prepare freshly cooked dishes is unparalleled. We ordered four dishes: prawn, beef, tofu and vege - all of them are greatly cooked in a variety of style. Definitely will recommend to friends.

Tasty grub. REALLY nice people, but big queues on a Saturday. A Chinese meal there costs more than a small castle in Beverly Hills. Shame it's so expensive $$$$$

Ordered from Rice in Yateley. Food arrived in good time, was nice and hot and very tasty. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for good Chinese food.

Food was OK. Staff very nice. Small bottles of Chinese beer were a bit pricey. Update: it's possible to get 330ml bottles of tsingtao for £1.20 wholesale, no need to charge customers £4. I would recommend you putting a regular lager on tap and charge maybe £5 a pint.

We ordered food here tonight and we’ve been waiting over 1 hour but was definitely worthy as the food was amazing , best Chinese around. Also wanted to thank George as he was amazing when we phoned asking for updates, he apologised and explained us it was very busy and even offered us 2 free tiger beers We’ll definitely be ordering again!

It was a pretty good Chinese. Nothing to really shout about. I would go here again though and I'm intrigued by the disco lights and the entrance. It feels like your going into a nightclub rather than a restaurant.

We had the buffet and the food was very tasty. The 2 ladies serving us were brilliant and really engaged with our 2 boys (4&6)

Had a couple of issues, got in touch with the restaurant via their website and the lady phoned me and the issue was sorted out. Very happy with the outcome and fact I received a call back. Would highly recommend this restaurant, just a heads up if you like sauce with your dishes eg, sweet and sour chicken, just write in the note section 'extra sauce' as it was quite dry.

We have had Chinese from rice before but last nights food was not very hot and no taste. The chicken balls are to big for only little bit of chicken in side and £8 delivery to finchampstead is a lot of money for food that was only warm

This is our most favourite restaurant, have dined in the restaurant many times, thought we’d have a takeaway, excellent food and really friendly staff, would highly recommend.

Went there on friday 16th December. We walked out it was so cold in there that I put a hat on. Even the staff had coats and body warners on. Please get some heating in your restaurant.

I have been a customer of Rice for over ten years. Loved eating in and take aways. I thought the food was the best Chinese in the area. There has obviously been a change in ownership. I realise times have been hard. My last two orders were ok. However, my order last night was a disgrace. I was treated like a piece of dirt off my shoe by the staff. And the meat I was served was as tough as the sole of my shoe. Shame on them.

First time using them and the takeaway food was great. Amazing selection, well cooked and not greasy at all. Definitely worth another visit.
