Always great bands, amazing, interesting people. Lots of new faces who will always be made welcome. I love this little old pub. Lovely owners with great staff.

Great burgers! Great bar staff!

Went there for a meal which was very good for the price. Staff friendly, quick & polite. However when the karaoke started we had a great night, until the DJ decided to spend half the night singing himself. Karaoke is meant for the clientele not for self indulgence. Fine if you got no singers, but not in this case. DJ did have a great voice, but it’s meant for customers enjoyment. That’s what the DJ is paid for.

It's the second time we've visited the Old White Hart on our journey home from seeing family. The staff were very pleasant, and the food was of a high standard. A special mention to Vicky who remembered us from our last visit, and made us welcome. In fact all the staff were great.

Didn't eat but great ale, great atmosphere and great football on the TV!!! Well done management and staff!!!

I would like to say how amazing customer service is when Leah and Vicky are on the bar. The energy that those two give and the customer care and attention to detail is amazing. I also had chicken strips cooked by Tyler, which were amazing and came out very quickly. Just a lovely pub.

Came here to eat recently and my girlfriend who has celiac disease ordered the gluten free hunters chicken and asked to make sure there were no onion rings on the dish. It came out with rings on so we politely asked “are these onion rings gluten free?” to which the waitress replied “I don't know I just bring it over” dumped it down and walked away. Plates were cold also which made the food cold. (Hot plates, hot food). Also there were numerous things wrong on the other dishes.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the staff here. The mother to my children came here for lunch last week and was discriminated against with my Autistic son. He wasn’t doing great that day and was making some loud noises, screaming a little bit and getting overwhelmed and overstimulated. This was the Barman at the time who just shouted across “can you stop your kid from screaming” this is completely unacceptable behaviour and embarrassing towards the mother to my children. If he had approached her and asked what was up it might of helped instead you just embarrassed her!!! Absolutely disgusting and shocking behaviour and I will be taking this further.

We came to the white heart on Monday the 29th January 2024 for our away dart match. I came with my grandad like I always do on dart nights and it was fine until I was greeted by a very very rude manager who definitely needed to re look at his Job profession! 🤣 When he came to me he was super rude and patronising. He said “show me ID otherwise your out off my Pub” Me being 16 I didn’t have ID so I didn’t have anything to show. Further more, He said because I’m 16 I have to go anyway which was understandable due to licensing laws. it was the way he said it and the way he spoke to me that annoyed me! Secondly, if you were so strict on licensing laws in your Pub why would your member off staff serve me a A pint of Guinness at the age of 16? This shouldn’t be happening and I feel like this definitely needs to be investigated. He then said more patronising words to me about my age, yes I was rude back but he should not have mouthed me with his unprofessional & ugly Tone. We used to come here for food with my family and also used to come here to watch football, that certainly won’t be the case anymore. we will be moving to a different pub for our meals out in the future. you’re certainly not a family friendly pub if that’s the way your speak to your youngsters! You wonder why some younger people don’t have respect for the elders as you have not shown me to do that but fortunately for you I do and have got respect for my elders.

Had a lovely Sunday roast and service was very friendly and helpful. Amazing value for money too. Definitely be going back 🙂

We had my dad's 75th birthday party, and there was 28 of us. The food was lovely and hot everyone enjoyed there food, very good priced food and very tasty. We will definitely be coming back. Thank so much to the staff for all there hard work.

When Jade is in the kitchen, you're guaranteed to get a great meal. Her food is always beautifully presented, tasty and hot.

Good little pub darts board needs to be more spacious

Thursday evening meal out with my partner and our girls. Never been before and literally picked from a Google search. Always dubious when visiting somewhere different pub wise for an evening meal; but we were glad we went! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff were really friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Food was absolutely fab, great value for money, great choice, very good portion sizes and freshly cooked - piping hot too. We had the Katsu chicken, build your own burger, steak and a kids meal - all were great. We all enjoyed colouring in the pictures on the kids menu too!!! 🤣 We will definitely return again and recommend to others! Thank you to the team - you’re doing a great job. 😊

We stopped off on a cycle ride for Sunday lunch and were made very welcome. What bargain food. Huge nice lunch for £7. Cheaper than many cakes!! Very dog friendly too.

Lovely Cosy pub! The food is really good and the prices are astounding. Good old fashion pub vibe. Had a lover waitress named Aoife who chatted to us and was really friendly. Will definitely recommend to a friend!

Stopped by for lunch as was starving, had steak and ale pie...if I hadn't been so desperately hungry I would have refused the meal...peas uncooked and tasteless, steak pieces all dried and crusted - chips were hot and decent. Also table was not clean, and definitely overpriced

Went to the old white Hart in hook today for lunch. The service was amazing. The young lady who served us Lottie was aboustley friendly and lovely. Especially with my son who has autism. Thank you for going the extra mile for him made his day.

Good beer and a nice Sunday Lunch

We arrived at approx 5.15pm after calling ahead to check availability. When we arrived we found ourselves a table for four. The table hadn't been cleaned after the people before us, two of the chairs at our table were broken and the lighting was dark making the dining area very dingy. We ordered via the app which was easy and the menu had great choices however the service was exceptionally slow service, it took over half an hour for our drinks, which were wrong, to be delivered and almost an hour for the food to arrive, when it did arrive the food was hot but we had to request cutlery. The ladies loo was in dire need of a clean, there was a layer of dust almost everywhere, the dining area was dated and some of the lighting fixtures were hanging off the wall, near the service door to kitchen the carpet appeared to have some significant water damage or something to that effect. I would not visit this pub again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Wide and varied menu. Easy access for the less agile.

We had booked on line for seven people and had received a confirmation by email, however when we arrived the staff were clearly not expecting us! We ordered our drinks using the app and one of the drinks was not as ordered. The atmosphere felt quite hostile, they were about to hold a poker night and we got the distinct impression that we were in their way. Consequently we finished our drinks and left to get a takeaway.

First time visit here and wow what an experience. Very covid safe measures in place. Staff were so polite and friendly. My son ordered via the app which was quick and easy. The food arrived in good time and it was fantastic. I recommend the steak, cooked just how I asked for it. The ice cream Sunday was with sweets in was also great. Totally recommend this place. A very well deserved 5 stars

Popped in today for a drink and was served by Sarah and Kea. Both lovely and had time for a chat. The garden looks lovely with the blue tables, unfortunately the rain stopped me sitting outside today. I will be back on a nice day with a book to sit outside and have a few drinks.
