Rice And Noodle in Glasgow City

Normalmente no es un fanático de la comida china, ya que en general no es muy saludable y las salsas con mucha sal. Pasé por este lugar que estaba en la cola un almuerzo a la hora de la puerta y pensé que huele delicioso. Decidí probar unas noches más tarde con mi madre y me alegro de haberlo hecho. En primer lugar el servicio es muy eficiente y muestra la mesa rápidamente. Solo éramos no chinos, lo que demuestra que la comida es buena. Menú bastante grande pero muchas fotos. Nos decidimos por un plato de pollo y salsa de frijoles negros y una olla caliente de coliflor estofada. Conseguimos un arroz y nos tentamos con el dim sum, pero pensé que sería demasiado. Me alegro de no haber pedido más platos como tamaño saludable. Comida deliciosa y caliente y llena de sabor. No me gustan los alimentos grasos y realmente no se puede evitar el aceite en este tipo de alimentos, ¡pero muy fresco y súper delicioso! Auténtico y feliz que he encontrado! Los mejores 20 que he pasado!

Encontré a la gente muy amable, la porción de comida estaba en mi calle. Sinceramente, no pude decirte qué plato de fideos tenía exactamente, ¡pero fue agradable! . Volveremos a probar algunas cosas más nuevas.

Realmente mal servicio, no saben respetar a las personas. Nunca vuelvas de nuevo. Los platos no son buenos también.

Entré después de ser recomendado el lugar. Lugar inmaculado, muy limpio, buen comienzo. La mujer que nos sirvió fue realmente agradable. Explicó el menú e hizo algunas recomendaciones. Seguimos sus recomendaciones y quedamos encantados. La comida era excepcional. Embalado con sabor y lo más fresco posible. Buena comida en una buena parte de Glasgow. Excelente

Siempre voy allí con mis amigos, se han convertido en mi lugar de comida china favorita, platos deliciosos y una gran relación calidad-precio. Definitivamente lo recomendaré! ¡Tienes que intentarlo!

Service rapide, agréable et peu cher mais nourriture décevante : on a commandé des soupes à emporter avec des soit disant « gyoza » ! Les soupes étaient écœurantes, nous avions chacun commandé un type de pâte différente et nous avons eu exactement les mêmes, les gyoza ou peut importe ce que c’était étaient dégoulinants d huile ! Bref cuisine grasse et lourde...mais passable si on est pas trop exigeant !

TIP: Take cash as they don't currently take card. Gave it a try at the weekend to deviate from our normal lunch at the cheap and cheerful Chinese restaurant across the road (not naming any names). Rice and Noodle have a more extensive menu at a slightly higher price point but from my experience there is a significant step up in standards to go with it. As it was lunch we only had two dishes, one of the dry noodle variations with chillie oil and a fried pork (think akin to Sweet and Sour but with much more). The noodles were delicious and accompaniments were fantastic with a smokey moderately spiced chilli oil. The pork dish was big thin sliced and fried pieces of pork which were tender whilst the exterior remained crispy despite the sauce which was very impressive. Sweetened with honey and with thin shavings of ginger, garlic, carrot, onion it was simple and absolutely delicious. Both dishes really impressed with their fragrance and fresh tastes which really exceed anything else I've had in Glasgow. Normally you find things don't have that fresh taste and perhaps subsidise with more 'chemically' flavours/sauces. That wasn't the case here, i'd strongly urge you to give it a shot - please order from the full Chinese menu and you'll be rewarded!

on our way to the Huntarian museum. First disadvantage was our inability to converse in Chinese whatever we ordered was awful. My chicken dish was actually deep fried chicken skin in a curry flavoured gravy. A place to be avoided

We bought really good takeaway from this place - chilli chicken, salt and pepper squid, tofu with hot pepper, together with rice for three and vegetarian spring rolls. All the mains were spicy and delicious. And all for £27. Friendly service and the takeaway was ready in 20 minutes.

Small take away with some tables for sitting in. Cheap eats, and really good. Good selection for food - some real authentic Chinese dishes, and some old favorites available. Would recommend!

I have only eaten in here once because it is quite small. I have however ordered a take away from this place numerous times. Authentic affordable Chinese food and certainly much better than the other restaurant across the road.

This hidden little gem of a place was recommended to me by my hubby who gets a takeaway lunch from here on a regular basis!! Delicious, fresh, tasty food. A heafty portion size and excellent value for money. Spotlessly clean with friendly staff. Would I return...Oh Hell Yeah!!!

A small take away restaurant but it has a few tables, seems to be very popular with chinese students, make sure you ask for the traditional chinese menu and not the standard one for authentic dishes.

Round the corner from my work is this gem. Routinely queued out the door and filled inside with Chinese students you can order the usual staples of a takeaway or you can be a bit more adventurous and try some special Chinese authentic dishes. They have menus in English and Chinese but the staff are happy to help you out and recommend dishes based on your preference. Most individual lunch dishes include rice or noodles or you can have a long tray with three choices of the mains from the hot trays at the front. These are really tasty and you can also see some of the more elaborate creations being served inside. Lovely.

Very basic, but the food I've had here was always packed with fresh ingredients and tasted fantastic. The hot and sour soup was the best I'd had. Let's face it you don't come here for the surroundings. Not so tasty this time but still good and very good value. Fab for a quick bite at lunch.

This restaurant is cheap and cheerful, not pretending to be anything other than a wonderful kitchen with a few tables to sit at. The tables are often full of Chinese students sharing food with each other in a relaxed atmosphere. I've used this restaurant for take away food many times and also sat down once to eat at the small tables. The waitresses are pleasant and knowledgeable and happy to discuss the vast menu. The food is flavoursome with large portions, and value for money.

Very bad delivery experience. They confused the orders and pretended it was just-eats fault when i called them in. In the end they "apologized" changing their excuse. Food took 2 hours 10 minutes. I reeally like their food but will not order again.

I ordered chicken balls, rice, chips and curry in the one container and my partner had bbq ribs, rice, chips and curry. There was not enough curry sauce on both of them, rice was very dry and the ribs were tasteless with no sauce! Both meals went into the bin.

Prawn curry was ok Do not order the munchie box of mixed starters all stale and cold. Salt and chilli chips limp and stale also, and salt and chilli chicken more like shredded chicken than chicken pieces.

We were given a tiny Pakora sized tub of satay sauce for a chicken satay main course, so meal was very dry as hardly any sauce!!! Ridiculous!!!

Really pleased with the food. It was tasty and not too greasy. Ordered the honey and chilli chicken which I would recommend. Chips and curry were good too. Been here a couple of times now and its always been good, and the people who work there are always nice when i go in.

When I went there I ask about my food and the woman at the front didnt say anything just went to kitchen. I waited and asked her again .... she said I know!! ..... If you knew then why didnt you answer since first time? I had to wait 5-10 minutes after that, which is truly acceptable if she just told not shouted. The food looks good but roast duck in plum sauce seems not roast at all. It looks like Fried Sweet & Sour chicken just change styles of vegetables cutting.

Ok but not as good as when you eat there. Beg spring rolls...all roll but little veg.

We've stopped using Chow after a couple of disappointing meals recently. Boyfriend gets the authentic Chinese dishes and I usually get chicken with ginger. We also got the salt and pepper ribs which were lovely. Super quick local delivery as well. Will use again.

I chose the beef flank with tomato, it was not for sadly but the food was hot and arrived in good time. I also had the chicken and sweetcorn soup, salt and chili ribs and prawns. These were delish, will definitely order from here again though I will try another dish.

Meal was a bit of a disappointment. Salt and chilli chicken possessed more signs of batter than chicken. Delivery time was not so bad but the guy forgot to leave a bottle of coke we ordered and had to return later with it.

We ordered a box meal and I expected smthing healthier but everything was fried... I think it is just a matter of expectations...

After waiting for over one hour for my meal I received cold food (including bubble lumps on the starters caused by the moist in the box from food sitting inside it for too long). It was the first time i ordered from this take away so i don't know if this was an exception or if service is always like this.

Salt and chilli pepper chips were awesome, the Kung po chicken was terrible as was the beef noodles. Really disappointed. Ah well. Was worth a try.

Food was amazing, but the service was shocking. Arrived 40 minutes after it was due and when I called them, the girl told me it would be ten minutes without even asking which customer I was or what my order was. When I pointed that out she seemed to take the time to look and then told me I had to be patient because it was very busy. Shocking service saved by excellent food.

Ordered chicken with chili (hot). What arrived was no the best. The chicken was essentially bits of battered fat and gristle cleavered whilst still on the bone. The rice was old as well. Usually quite good, but feel insulted by this last offering.

Waited over 1.5 hours for a starter and a main (55 mins delivery time estimated!), neither of which was particularly good and I ordered boiled rice but got fried. Will never order from these guys again, mistake not going to Lemon Tree which is far better and is always on time delivery!

Order consisted of chicken noodle soup, salt and pepper chicken wings, and some salt and chili chips. Delivery took 1 hour 15 minutes, 15 minutes over the estimate provided. Chicken noodle soup was standard, though the chicken seemed to be fairly low in quality. Chicken wings were reasonable, though nothing to write home about. Chips were lacking in quality, and didn´t pack enough spice for my liking. Overall a very underwhelming meal lacking in flavour, which was disappointing as the place had been recommended to me. Perhaps the more authentic Chinese dishes are of a higher standard, but for takeaway fare in Scotland the place didn´t impress.

Not a good experience. Singapore fried noodles was all noodles and little chicken/seafood. Also not a lot of flavour. The shredded beef came covered in a red gravy the like of which I have never seen in 5 years living in China.

Pretty tasty and there was some nice veg in the special chow mein. The chicken noodle soup was really good. Seemed to take a while to arrive though.

Most meals were good quality, estimated delivery time at 80 minutes seemed a bit too long a wait though. Arrived 10 minutes early.

Quality good but waiting time (1hr 30) seems a little excessive for what is a relatively local delivery. That being said, quality was excellent and I have now ordered from them twice knowing that. No real complaint - just wish I wasn´t so hungry when I ordered lol!

The food was mediocre. Spring rolls and curry sauce were perfectly made. chicken balls were good but chips were greasy, beef chow mein was bland. Order was an hour and 20 mins for delivery, called the take away and they didnt really seam to care as they said it was going to be the next order. after that it was still half an hour on delivery.

We decided to order from here as we haven´t in a while. Ordered a few different things, a couple of them with sauces separate. When we opened the bag every sauce container had burst open and had soaked every only container. The food was also quite greasy when we finally got to it in the carrier bag of mixed sauces. Don´t think we´ll be ordering from here again.

After waiting 1 hour 20 mins, we gave rice and noodle a call to be told that just eat hadn´t sent any order. So we called Just eat and they said they had but there was a "print error", Rice and noodle denied this and told me that if I still wanted food I could re-order and wait up to another hour. We went somewhere else. Wont be back.

OMG i can´t believe what i have just received, the party box looks like it was all fried in the same pan/frier, tasteless and greasy! ordered the lemon chicken and after one bite i now feel burning all the way down my oesophagus, how much lemon did you put in there? i can´t eat it. I feel really mean writing this review however i couldn´t let this go. The order arrived before the estimated time and the delivery guy was very polite but the food is terrible, i feel very let down and VERY hungry!

Absolutely ridiculous! Didn´t receive our full order that we paid for then were called liars when we called to complain. We are still waiting on the rest of our order... spoiled our meal and will never use this place again... rude uninterested staff

Been ordering from Just-Eat for quite a while now, but this experience was so bad I just had to write a review. Out first order from Rice and Noodle was a whopping 45 minutes late, it was deeply average (ready meal standard) and without any apology or excuse. The cherry on the cake was being told I had to pay an extra £1 because the delivery charge from the website was wrong. Totally useless, I strongly advise you don´t order.

FOOD POISONING! - About an hour or so after eating I felt very weak then after 6 hours or so, became quite ill and remained so for a further 2-3 hours. Have eaten from here a few times before and been fine but certainly won´t be again!

The food was great and still warm when delivered even if delivered a bit late(5 to 10 minutes later at most). The portions are very large for the price.
