Rhyls No.1 Fish & Chips in Denbighshire

We went there for a takeaway lunch. The fish and chips were very tasty. Especially the fish was very nice.

The food was excellent, what made it special was the staff. Thank you very much

Fish was greasy not had time to drain off, chips was over cooked/burnt, peas was bland/no flavour, curry sauce was pretty much cold and was refused to sit in because they was quarter of an hour away from closing, worst fish and chips we've had

Absolutely disgusting food, I ordered the cod roe and there was next to no fish, just empty batter full of grease, same for the spam fritters. The chips were full of grease, pouring out of them and they were black. The service was awkward, the staff were incredibly rude and clearly didn't want to be there, over all the staff just didn't seem bothered at all. Do not recommend this place at all.

Fantastic food everytime I come here. My only complaint is they are not open all year!

This place was nice years ago, but just been today and will never go again, chips were tastless, fish was overcooked and dry, even the mushy peas were dry(pointless) . My wife had a chicken and mushroom pie, looked like it had been re-heated over and over. The pastry was hard and unedible, and the filling was none-existent. And staff were not helpful or friendly. Definitely NOT Rhyls No. 1 Fish & Chip Shop!!

Fantastic flavors in every thing they cool .always cooked to order nothing precooked . Never had any problem

This place has really gone down hill 'i'always use this chippy ''but no more!! ' has the Roe is half the size and the fish,'plus chip are burnt .I would rather walk to Les and Rita's 'at least u get what u pay for at Les and Rita's chippy 'best in town

Chips were not great because oil must have not been changed, fish was over done so the cod meat was dry, boiled rice was not washed so it was clumps. The only thing that was good was the seating area. Shame really because this business has potential with the right cook

Chips were disgusting they must have been dropped into the fryer so.many times hence the colour of them.wouldn t recommend This chippy to anyone.

I love this place his fish is really nice as I don't like a lit of batter and the chips are just like mum use to make . All round beauiful meal
