Revolucion de Cuba in Norwich

Table was not ready for our 6pm booking. We were told to go to the bar and get some drinks. I had to then ask the waiter if the table was ready and it was, but nobody came to tell us. Service was slow , had to ask for menus. Ordered a vegan burger. It was a breaded burger with a tablespoon of Mayo and some bits of lettuce. Was supposed to have pickles and jalapeños too. Complained and to be fair to them they did allow me to order a different meal. Meals all came out at different times. The ladies toilets were absolutely disgusting. Wee everywhere all over the floor which had leaked out and been trodden to where the sinks were. It’s also smelled vile. On a positive note , I’ve been here many times and this is the first time it’s been awful. Live music is always good. Cocktails good too.

Went this afternoon for food and drinks. Barely another soul in the place. We were not greeted when we arrived so went to bar to ask for a table. Nobody came to take our order so went to the bar to order ourselves. Bar staff didn’t seem overly keen to serve. No banana rum for cocktail so had to choose an alternative. Food was ok but not very warm, much like the restaurant itself. I wouldn’t rush back. It’s not the first time I’ve been ignored here, I think the service is poor unless you’re a young ‘influencer’.

Amazing bar for drinks and atmosphere and the staff in here are amazing, food and drink is amazing drinks are good priced as well

Having been a good customer for many years I was amazed to find I had been refused entry. Having then asked politely to speak to the manager I was not given an explanation as to what I was supposed to have done wrong. Nasty little games seem to being played!

the night party was a disappointment because the DJ had no taste in music, and he didn't play any Latin music. He didn't notice that no one but him enjoyed what he was doing. the drink is very expensive, I paid 30 pounds for 3 simple drinks, for that much I buy 2 bottles of my favorite. I asked for a bottle of water, the barman asked for 5 pounds and gave me a glass of water from the tap. the cup taker blatantly stole our drinks from the table and poured them out without asking. it's unbelievable what's going on here.

Didn't go for food, so I can't comment on that. We had a lovely cocktail before our salsa dance class. Brilliant atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Love the live music on a Friday. Staff were friendly as was the general atmosphere. Drinks are expensive but I guess that's the norm for a club nowadays

Popped in on the off chance of getting some Tapas on the way home. Stayed for food and few drinks whilst we listened to the band 20/7/24. Atmosphere was buzzing.

Very disappointed. Food was very slow and not great once it arrived. Spicy chicken was good though, so not all bad.

Great experience and managed extremely well.

There isn't any point in communicating with any of you within how you treated me, none of you care, you'll all just take the piss. You who did what you did, and you know who I'm talking too, you need to learn from this and treat people with trauma from various backgrounds whether you might consider them "posh" with some respect. Some of you need to consider your eticate towards customers and to the "team" around you. This is your job, so act like it.

Super affordable! All the food was delicious, for vegetarians too. The waiting staff were lovely and great toilets. Fully recommend!!

One of the memorable pubs in Norwich ro hang out with friends. 👍🏾. Great staff and lovely atmosphere, & the music playing always carries you away. Visited with a friend, and we ended staying way longer than we anticipated.😋😋 Will highly recommend for fun times and pub enthusiasts 👌🏾👌🏾❤️

Great cocktails but quite empty...

I've been quite a few times and always love the food, this time was not one of them. The prawns were damped in oils. The hallomi cheese was not chargrilled, the calamari was full of flour cooked in old oil and overdone and you could tell this was a bunch of left over legs cut from the squid. Such a bad experience

The place is good. The food was great. However we had to wait for 45mins for our food to arrive. The drinks were good too. 👍😉

Me and my sister are ordered an aperol at Norwich Cuba and was greeted by the most friendliest member of staff Brenon or Brendon (sorry can’t remember) and they invited us behind the bar to make a perfect aperol spritz and it was so much and so unexpected and really made our night. He was the most perfect bar tender, patient and friendly and fun! And it really was the most perfect aperol spritz! Thank you so so much!

We had the bottomless brunch. 1 word- awful. Terrible cocktails Terrible service Had to go to the the bar to order next cocktails even though there was 4 tables full in whole venue. And over 10 staff. Just stood around chatting Wouldn't recommend brunch to anyone left hungry after having the breakfast wrap and paying extras.

I was assaulted by a bouncer for no reason. I was sat on a table with my friends when all Of the sudden two bouncers asked me to leave I asked what the reason was and neither gave me one. He then asked me if I want to leave on my own accord to which I agreed and put my hands up to show them I was no threat and spoke to them with respect and no I’ll intention. I was then put in a head lock and walked out of the club and the whole time this was going on I had my hands up just to show everyone around I was not being threatening or violent. Once I was outside both bouncers ran back inside. I tried getting there details off the door staff and they said they refused.

Perfect place for party on weekends.

Just took a chance and popped in for lunch one Monday with my son. Unsure of what to expect as I'm a 'young oldie' and cannot eat certain foods I was blown away by the delicious food, the standard of customer care and attention to detail. I've sung your praises and intend to go back for lunch when next in the city.

My friend and I have been here twice now and had a lovely experience both times. The female manager took our order today and explained the 50% of deal that we had and sorted a misunderstanding with our order when the food came out. Really yummy food, and the setting is really aesthetic. Lovely restaurant and lovely staff!

Fantastic vibe , great music and food. It was lovely seeing so many people enjoying themselves. Unfortunately one of the dishes we ordered wasn't available but gave us free cocktails. Loved outside set up and different DJ set.

Drinks can be abit slow when it's a busy night but happy hour makes up for it

Went in during happy hour, had some great food, the soft tacos, pork belly skewers, and the quasodilla (spend wrong sorry) But the blow away point was when we asked the bartender at the time to mix us something from his head, it was a delightfully fruity and strong drink, me and my girlfriend teased it being called the K&I or the Kandi Dean was a stand up guy really great with us along with the rest of the staff. Definitely coming back when next in Norwich as I'm from Peterborough originally. You need to try this place :)

Tapas’ all have extravagant. Waiters are always friendly. Great cocktails as well. Music at a decent noise level allowing conversations. Recommend for a date night or a group meal.

Despite a decent. . All be extremely loud atmosphere... the rest needs improvement. Our Xmas meal was average at best. The crackers didn't even pop. The drinks are overpriced and the cocktails... some of the worst in the city.

Lovely place for drinks and a dance. Staff always really friendly, one in particular is Shannon (security) always welcoming and with a smile. Definitely recommend.

Had a voucher for cocktails and tapas and was really surprised at how good the food was. It is a little loud but great atmosphere and music.

First time out for me in a looong time and ended up at Revolucion De Cuba by pure chance and I'm so glad we did. It was a lively but friendly place, very busy however you kind of expect it on a Saturday Evening. We arrived as a band was playing which gave it a very casual vibed atmosphere. Later in the evening we sat in the garden which had a separate DJ. Again lovely atmosphere. And the Shot Limbo had us in stitches 😂 Myself and my friend had spent most of the evening in here when my friend had to rush off in a hurry. I was left pretty stranded not really knowing where abouts in the city I was etc. But the door lady you have working for you (Sharon/Shannon I think her name was) was extremely helpful and helped me book my taxi to the correct location. She even kept an eye on me, whilst I was waiting for my taxi because some lads where being a bit "forward" and "full on" She made me feel safe. I had a fantastic experience at this venue and I would defo return to Revolucion De Cuba in the future.

Good venue for cocktails and tapas, good range of choices and 241 tapas on weekend. The jamon croquettes are particularly good. Evening dancing is also very nice and a good venue to have a nice low energy evening.

Went for a bottomless brunch, definitely felt underwhelmed with the food and cocktails on offer and what was ordered. Having to pay even more on top of your bill to get all cocktails on the menu, when competition includes ALL cocktails included in their lower price point. Turtle Bay is definitely the better option for a bottomless brunch in Norwich. Much faster service and the food is to a much higher standard. Staff however couldn’t be faulted, extremely polite and friendly.

Had another enjoyable night here for drinks. The atmosphere both indoors and outdoors is always good, and the female security are always keeping an eye on the young ladies to make sure they are safe.

Really enjoyable night, all staff really nice, including all security staff especially the female door supervisor Shannon who is very professional. The out side area is good and plays different music to the inside which is a great touch. Will definitely be going there again, and would recommend.

I usually like this bar but what’s with all the pointless queueing. I queued for half an hour to get in to find the bar half empty when the security finally let me in. Obviously the queues are to make the place look popular but ultimately pointless as my mood was ruined and i just went straight home.

Not sure why this place is popular, but if you end up here for a bottomless brunch you will make your own good time. The staff were excellent. The food not good. The drinks flowed. Goto have a good time with friends not for the experience.

I am not one for writing reviews if I have a bad experience I simply avoid in future but I am writing this because this has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life to the point random people questioned did that really just happen to sum it up I was left speechless.

It was a great experience at night time. The pub was filled a lot of people nonetheless the atmosphere was great. Lovely music and the drink service was good too. The servers were professional and fast given the amount of people they needed to serve. All round good night time experience.

never again. we have been before, it was good . A year on and seems very different. we were told we had to order main meal at same time as drinks and tapas , no sooner were we enjoying the drinks and tapas than the mains arrived, very little room on the table for it all, had to finish tapas rapidly as meal was getting cold. burgers were maybe average , my beef ropa was awful , stringy meat in a tasteless watery liquid. we left asap. Maybe that was what you wanted.

Had a great experience enjoying lunch meal, which was interesting as never had Cuban food before. Also they have amazing lunch time deals, like £7 for a meal and soft drink, so my boyfriend had a meal and a Cuban coffee, but he paid extra £2 because of coffee and burrito wrap. I used 3 tapas for £15 and had to share with my boyfriend as was too much. Plenty of choise on the menu. Only thing I wasn't keen, that many meals sounded spicy, which I am not keen on. So need to check with your waiter for best option. We had additional drinks, bill total was only £32. Also dog friendly, which was great

We've been to a few of these bars and they've been excellent. I think the Norwich one might have been having a bad day. 1 At the entrance there's a sign saying ' wait to be seated' we waited but no one came. 2,Tried using the code on the table to order and was told later that they stopped using it because it doesn't work. 3, the 'cocktails' came out of a slush machine and were impossible to drink, I could actually turn mine upside down. They were replaced after a bit of a discussion. 3, we didn't even try for food. Very odd experience. Staff lovely but a bit baffled

Great atmosphere and our waitress was amazing. Unfortunately the price was very high for what we had. It was good don’t get me wrong but not $110 good for 4 people during lunch.

Ordered one of the teapot cocktails, had a full glass before noticing the teapot was infested with flies! We discretely showed this to the manager (the large guy who sat on his phone at the bar the entire time we were there) who did not apologise, did not rectify beyond taking this off the bill. Which is the bare minimum considering it couldn't be consumed. But no other gesture to apologise for the fact me and my partner had just ingested flies!! He was rude and did not care and clearly does not want to be there. The waitress emmalee was also very inattentive and ignored us considerably, however this is to be expected when the manager is lazy - he sets the culture there. We will never be returning. Had it only been an issue with drinking flies, we probably would return. But the horrendous management has prevented that ever becoming a possibility. Investors, sort the management out. You pay this man a huge amount of money and he clearly doesnt care about the business.

Staff were efficient and nice. Adequate space/we had reservations for a large party but by much later, we got squeezed in to make room for other patrons. They had vegan & none vegan options served but I did not really enjoy the meals. My first try at nachos and I just took them without the guacamole. The quesadillas were tiny will little fillings d did not stay together but it was okay. Had to order Cuban cheesy fries but they weren't the cheesy fries I was expecting. I loved most of the old school music but couldn't connect with others played. Wasn't bad overall but could e been much better.

The kids didn't enjoy the kids menu, the food was not that amazing, and we were not aware that there would be live music, which made the conversations very difficult. Overall it's an amazing place if you are looking for entertainment and warm snacks

So I stopped going in the evenings as it’s the worst place for creepy groping guys, but went for lunch with friends to find they no longer take cash, great for banks not for the community. The toilets are appalling, literally I can’t describe how filthy. Will stay away even from the brunch now cash is refused.

Absolutely beautiful food, plenty of seating there was 9 of us all sat around 1 long table, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely ☺️
