The portion has decreased significantly, whilst the price has increased. I will no longer be ordering from them. I'm not paying £9 for half the size, when I used to pay £6 for twice 2yrs ago.

Delivery was over an hour which is rather unnecessary. Food was stale and old. Felt like refrigerated and reheated food. Very horrible taste and texture. It’s a big no no. I believe they can do better.

The Jollof rice and plantain with turkey meat were delicious. The young lady who served me was polite and very professional in her duties. Five stars!

Just remember, this is a small family operation, so be patient when you arrive. The staff who serve you are often juggling multiple tasks, but that only adds to the charm. I’ll always recommend supporting places like this over the mainstream chains. It’s one of those spots where the food feels like it’s been made with love, and it shows. It’s definitely on our list of local go-to’s, and I encourage you to add it to yours too.

This was the first time using this service and it was a very awful experience for us. The food arrived 45 minutes late. It was spilt in the bag and all we were hearing was defences from both the driver and the restaurant. It was a very terrible experience of which I cannot recommend any of the services to anyone!

Wow... absolutely terrible... this is a joke 😂😂 how they can sell a food like that, chicken was like 1week old dreadful... can't even bite in to it 😂 for 2meals and few beers we paid 56£ for what? For microwave rice? 😂😂😂 wow unbelievable sorry guys

Remstone has by far some of the greatest service in Peterborough. I ordered some food for a church programme, the service was very efficient and the food was done to a high standard. I will definitely be ordering from them again 😊

I always want my food early and Remstone Kitchen delivered. In addition to that, I previously order from Thames about 2 weeks before and there was an item missing. After communicating with them, they included the missing item in this delivery free of charge. 5 stars.

Remsone kitchen's food is top notch, As a caterer myself I can tell when I taste a good food. The atmosphere is conducive for relaxation after a tedious days job. Trust me a taste will definitely make you go back , because their meals is home made meals just like home away from home meals. I don't regret every bite as its was money well spent on every meals I ordered.

The food was amazing, good staff. My family and I had a great time. I highly recommend the efo with poundo. It tasted just like home 🏡 😋.

African food in Remstone kitchen is woo what I got there is beyond my expectation their Ayamase is so delicious like 👍 it makes me to remember ijebu thank God I didn't follow the online review, the smoke jollof is so delicious hmm yummy.......

Service is absolutely terrible. I tried to place an order 35mins before closing and even offered to collect the order myself. The staff seemed to have no clue what was going on and after hanging up on me twice, got the owner on the phone who declined my order. By the time the clueless staff understood what I had explained 4 times over 3 phone calls, 15mins had gone by and I only had 20mins to order my food. He then got another member of staff on the phone who reiterated the same thing. I will never order from this restaurant again. They clearly don't want to be there and are getting paid to reject orders. I've been a loyal customer for about 4yrs, right back to when the owner had a store in the market in the Town Centre. Luckily they aren't the only Nigerian restaurant in Peterborough anymore. I will be using Angels Meal from now on instead. They're more expensive, but taste better. Shame on the staff.

Brought me cold food. I ordered since 3pm for delivery at 6pm, only to be delivered cold food.

Wow. Just wow. Dont even know where to start. I mean I love to go round to look for Niegrian food but wow... I googled and found Remstone. So I decided to travel from Norwich to Peterborough to see what it was all about. Well I wasnt disappointed. Nice cosy environment. Music was bang on... And then we looked at the menu. Was approached by this ever smiling lady. Got our order in. Started off with Nigerian coke and Fanta and I must say the difference is clear. Got our first order to eat in whilst the takeaway was being prepared. Immediately I saw the the jollof rice I knew it was something special. I decided to taste it even thought I was tucked in to Poundo Yam and Engusi soup. The Jollof rice tasted like the party Jollof rice straight from Nigeria and Wow... the Egunsi was bang on. I kept giving her thumps up. Sure if she looked at the CCTV she would see me giving her thumps up as I destroyed my Poundo Yam. We took home with us other items and wow...All I can say is thank you very much For the authentic and quality food. I cant wait to go back again. Absolutely fantastic place. I wish I could give more stars but as a very high business reviewer, I can certainly say whatever I write on here is absolutely from the bottom of my heart. I love Remstone.

I ordered food and the customer service is very poor, I can’t imagine I paid about £7 for delivery and only for me to call then the customer service raising voice at me 😒 anyways I won’t refer anyone there or order anymore😔😔

Without a doubt the most despicable meal of my entire life.I arrived with my son to be presented with food that frankly I would not feed my dog. Indeterminable meat that had long since bypassed it’s date with the bin. Disappointment does not begin to address how I feel. £30 for 2 bottles of Fanta and food that was inedible. We had to go to the local shop for pizza to eat at home but both felt too sick to want anything. This place should be condemned before you kill someone.

I got to the receptionist of pj care after my shift they said they had not received my food delivery. This is very sad.

Ordered assorted Okro but only had 2 pieces of meat in it and barely any okro, mainly sauce. The Egusi had a strange gasoline-like taste and the semo was sweet?? Like it had sugar. I’m very unhappy with this order and upset to have spent the money

Worst Nigerian food I have ever tasted in my life . I ordered the spicy Asun , ayamase and meat pies and everything was a disaster. Where do I start from ,the presentation was horrible I could tell the food was frozen and was heated in the microwave as the container the food came in was bent from the heat . The so called spicy goat meat was full of bones hardly any flesh on the bones with zero taste let alone spice . The ayamase was the most disappointing hardly any protein and it looked so dark and horrible just oil and nothing else . Let’s talk about the meat pie which I have not tasted yet but it came broken and did not look fresh at all looked like it has also been microwaved don’t know why ….,,, If you are a Nigerian in Peterborough please do not waste your money and time ordering from this place as you would be highly disappointed just like I am . Funny enough I have ordered from them before but not online in the Peterborough market which I totally enjoyed hence I decided to do so again but this time it was way below par and I will never recommend or order from them again. Horrible food and packaging of food. You can tell the container had been recycled just appalling. You are better off cooking the food yourself or ordering from McDonald’s or better still jump on a train to London and visit Tasty to get authentic Nigerian food and snacks .

I was served by a very nice lady called Dorian for a takeaway dinner on Saturday the 5th of November. I bought jolloff rice, chicken, beef and plantain that cost about £25. Rice was slightly undercooked, which I had a bit of, plus plantain and the beef, the next day (today) I was as sick as a dog, an anaphylactic reaction, belching eggs, flatulence and a lot of discomfort in my belly and the runs; I only have this bad reaction to peanuts. I called today, Sunday the 6th of November, to find out what oil they used and was told they used peanut butter oil for plantain. I don’t understand why any restaurant would use this type of oil when most people have peanut or nut allergies in general. There is no labelling about the peanut oil even and I wasted £25 and been sick all day. Will not be buying ever again and have to throw away the food. Please don’t use peanut butter oil, or perhaps do better by labelling in restaurants so customers are away. That’s my weekend spoilt : (.

absolutely joke of a restaurant. the prices are for a Michelin star restaurant. 22£ for soup.!!!!! Anyone who has given a good review is a friend of the business. These prices are more than london food.

Beware, the lady who runs the place is bare rude to customers (unless you are a man, ofcourse). Have given this restaurant enough chances. Every time we have ordered from them, there is something (one dish or the other) wrong with their food. No more otherwise jokes on us.

Disappointed with their service. First of all they did not deliver one of the food items on the order. The Asun dish had little goat meat and mostly bones. This dish did not have much onions or peppers as expected in the traditional dish. Overall the food was overpriced compared to the quality and quantity.

Food was extremely under seasoned, if at all. The meat did not taste fresh and left a horrid smell/taste in my mouth and the plantain looked and tasted very stale.

Best African restaurant in town. They have any Nigerian meal your looking for. Banging jollof rice and lovely dishes in general. You can never go wrong with remstone. Very neat restaurant and lovely music

Ordered one more time to see if the first order was just a bad experience. Moi moi was not cooked properly, No red stew with Ewedu. Meat pie, dry and lacking in flavor.

Beef suya didn’t taste fresh at all. The suya pepper mix was a lot. I won’t be ordering ever again!

The soup and egusi were not fresh and missing soup which cost 12.99 I never got that.
