Relish Cafe Bar at The Capital Building in Liverpool

I used to like this place, but just had a baguette, it wasn't crispy like normal, it was soggy and very cold, just about eatable, I asked at the counter "do you freeze them?" She said yes, that explains why it was soggy and very cold. It'll be my last visit.

Robin is amazing, how she manages on her own is unbelievable. The five stars is for her.

Although a lovely place to work, study and have a hot drink and cake whilst you do. The staff aren’t all that attentive or helpful, nor is there much choice available by way of food.

The worst cafe I've ever been to. The coffee tastes cheap, the food is too expensive for what you get, I ordered a ham and cheese toastie, the toastie was solid and had half a slice of ham inside.

Cheese and onion toasty was not good, cheese not melted and rubbery and not worth £5+

Food to die for and service to go with it

No vegan options at present. Only previous options were just a fruit pot in a plastic tub (just like the ones less than half the price in tesco downstairs) or avocado on some bread (in 2 different forms...coz vegans only eat avo, right?) but this goes against their 'sustainability' speil, which shows the lack of care taken and somewhat greenwashing statements. One staff member is very blunt, rude and acts like you're a hindrance any time options are enquired about. I had high hopes but it's just unimaginative, and way overpriced.

Very good! I ordered an avocado bagel and croissant. All together I paid £7.05, a little pricey! But taste wise i enjoyed it. My friend ordered a spicy tuna panini and san pelligrino and paid £7.50, the tuna panini was a little messy but my friend enjoyed the taste. I would come here again but it will be an expensive lunch!
