King Taco Dovecot in Liverpool

Food was terrible, cold overheld chips. The chicken was burnt with an off putting rancid smell and the lettuce slimy and brown. Aside from the obvious quality issues we were missing a drink. Honestly this food is barely fit for human consumption. Will never eat there again. Be wary of eating here, they currently have no food hygiene rating available online. What does that tell you?

Very dirty the place, and bad bad people I asked for a request they sent another one do not speak English do not buy anything in this place.

Some of the sloppiest, wettest and oiliest food I've ever ordered. The beef chilli is more like a vegetable curry with mince in terms of taste (why are there courgettes, sweetcorn and carrot in a chilli?), and the quesadilla is without doubt the most disgusting one I've ever had, with large chunks of mostly uncooked onion in there. Sorry folks, give this place a miss.

We always choose taco king for takeaway as the food is always really good and delivered on time. Tonight’s special chicken kebabs were delicious 😋

Sadly some food was dropped at the door, (pizza and garlic bread boxes) have sent video footage of it happening and just eat /restaurant have not accepted this as proof for a refund. Dont have other evidence as items where binned when the driver was there. Really unhappy.

Called 3 times told them the order was showing delivered at 7:30. They kept telling very busy, I finally called at 9 to cancel as this was way too late to eat. They told me they were making a fresh order and it will be about 10 minutes.

The chicken wrap was awful to say the least. No lettuce or sauce at all, the chips were a mixture of over cooked and undercooked

I asked for red salt on the chips there was too much red salt recked the hole meal it was 3 meat kabab I was disappointed as I spent 27 pound and I ordered from here the other day it was lovely then they bring me that 🫰🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

The food is as you similar to most pizza places, but at a better price. Delivery driver is a nice guy.

Food came after a 1hr 20min wait. Food was absolutely freezing and fajitas didn't come with 4 warm tortillas as advertised, instead came with 2 very cold rock hard pitta breads. Whole order was stone cold and completely inedible!!

It’s been 3 weeks now and I’m still sat here waiting for my food. Iv went down to 3 1/2 stone I just want my food please. I can’t handle this any more, I had to eat my son’s hamster because you guys didn’t arrive with my 14” meat feast and a variety of other items. I would like a free capri-sun next time I order for the inconvenience please or I will post this to the Liverpool echo

No food came driver did not delier then marked as delivered. When i called the restaurant driver claimed to have knocked but I have a ring doorbell and no one came driver couldn't tell me what my house looked like. I have a very distinctive garden.

We always order from here. Food is nice but service tonight was abysmal. Part of our order was delivered ruined, crushed and wrong. Delivery driver clearly reckless. Shop sent us a replacement- which took over 40 minutes to arrive. Delivery driver was rude, shrugged his shoulders when we showed him the state of the original order as he dropped off the replacement. Really upset as we loved this place.

I feel as though if you’re going to do something as “unique” as say lash a load of frozen veg over nachos and inside a chimichanga then this should be mentioned on the menu. I’ve never seen nachos come with cauliflower and broccoli etc before? Whole order was cold and disgusting and got binned.

I was devastated to learn this establishment, that i had travelled from Birmingham to visit especially, had no tacos!!! You are called King Taco but do not provide tacos!!! I was very upset and it took my husband 2 hours and a valium to calm me down on the way home. Please rectify this so next time will not be a wasted, and sad, journey.

my calzone was okay, I've had better from them but this time it was not for me. the majority of it went to the bin. my daughter liked her pizza as always 😋. it won't put me off ordering from here again as we love it, we all have a bad day

Didn’t give full description of chicken burrito and my chicken burrito was covered in cheese. Now I can’t eat cheese so all I could eat last night was rice as I can’t eat anything else but chicken rice and a wrap

I did ask for hot chilli on kebab, but meal was drenched in it, it was too hot to eat, had to throw it out. Maybe put hot chilli in little tub?

I got a mixed kebab I have to say it was the nicest kebab iv had in a long time except the bread was not edible it was rock hard and just broke up. But the meat was the nicest iv had full of flavour .Will definitely be back !

This was the worst food I have ever had we had a cheese burrito a days ago and it was disgusting it was just a mess of cheese and there was broccoli in it 🤷‍♀️then tonight we ordered chicken kebab with chips the chips were Rock hard when we opened the kebab it was bare of any sort of salad and the pitta bread was like cardboard when I phoned to ask we’re the salad was they said we had to put in the comments but ever time I have ordered from somewhere else the give u a list of ingredients to add the man on the phone said it wasn’t his fault definitely won’t be ordering again

Food had been out for delivery for a good while as it arrived cold. The chicken and chips had sweated so much the box fell apart. Tried to heat it all up but most of it went in the bin. Not good.

Pizza was undercooked and soggy. But didn’t take as long as I expected

The naan bread was cold and chewy. The tacos were stale. The rest of the food was nice, the chicken was lovely and hot, some of the juice spilt out the box but it didn’t touch anything else. The fries were amazing. Overall 3 stars

The pepperoni pizza was a decent pizza soft fluffy with cheese pull and nice light crispy base with a nice crunch , kids ate it all and gave the thumbs up. Will be back to try other pizzas The tacos were sound as well, 4 tacos and a tray of filling and three tubs of cheese and sauces. Chips were standard a little bit greasy. Edit: chips were nice today with red salt on .nice and crispy . Ham and pineapple and jalapeno pizza was ok. Still fluffy with nice tastes but only had a few tiny cubes of ham so not getting the meaty satisfaction.

A simple order placed at 7.30 of beef tacos and nachos arrived at 10pm with out cheese for the tacos and no quocamole wow what type of Mexican restaurant r you this is the 2nd time I've had an incomplete order 1st time no taco shells with an order for tacos I rang restaurant but didn't complain of just eat but 2nd time is an absolute joke we were ready for bed when it came I want a full refund

This is not a burrito? I ordered a chicken burrito and was meet with a volcano of cheese? Cheese, on a burrito? But after eventually tunneling three there mass I found food that wasn't fit for a dog. There was broccoli in there? With a side order of rice? Save your money , please go elsewhere.....

Estimated time was 8:20-8:40 it’s now 9 o’clock at still not arrived, I know it’s Friday and it’s busy. I’ve rang up once and still nothing. I have already paid to, I’m fuming.

Ordered a chimichanga. Clearly these people are not aware of what a chimichanga is. The burrito was seemingly NOT deep fried. The chicken was seasoned awfully and it was dry with no tomato, lettuce or sour cream. Chicken fingers were good.

When food eventually arrived it was warm at best and very dry. Never again will I order from here

Late delivery but it was bank Holiday weekend to be expected. Called the branch, staff were polite and honest about the new expected delivery time. Driver was overly apologetic wanted to give him a hug. Brilliantly run takeaway! Will be ordering again.

If you want the kebab, burger, etc sort of food then this is the best around. Been going here for a couple of years now and there’s a reason why. Won’t get anyway near close to this place. Food always comes fresh, always tasty and always presentable. Been happy customer for years and will carry on.

Waited two hours for pizza and chips

Used to be a decent takeout but been going downhill for a few months.. delivery is usually 2hrs, even at what you’d think would be a quiet time. Staff are unapologetic and don’t even sound bothered on the phone

Food was tepid when arrived. Had to call restaurant to ask where the food was. The chimichanga I ordered was over cooked on one side and I couldn’t cut through it with a knife, to disguise it they covered it in a mound of cheese. The filling was very sparse and not very nice. The filling for the tacos was bland and the rice had no taste. Do not recommend!

Food arrived 20 mins early and was hot and fresh. Very tasty thank you very much !
