This place (the Olover Twist side) is not covid secure at all. No sanitiser on entering, staff wearing their masks under their noses (while bringing food and drink to you) and bottle of sauce, salt shakers etc left on the table and not cleaned between customers.

I come into Reid’s all the time to get my chai latte as they have the nicest chai latte in town, everywhere else uses the horrible syrup but Reid’s use the nice chai powder. Today I left my carrier bag in the cafe with my dinner in there and didn’t realise until I was on the bus home. The lovely staff member who I think is called Jack was kind enough to put my food in the fridge and keep my belongings safe for when it was able to be collected! This is very kind and thoughtful. All of the staff are always lovely, friendly, and the food and drink is great. The cafe is always clean I don’t really understand the negative reviews on here because this in my opinion is one of the best coffee places in town!

I was early for a business meeting and thought I’ll have a coffee and do some emails while I wait. As one do. I do like independent coffee houses. I like the independence and variety. This was keen giving this abomination a try. Please avoid. I had better instant coffee, the toilets are, how will I put it, well I assume they are legal. And the free WiFi. If I tell you that I am writing this review on my phone using 4G you may get the idea. I am off to give my money to someone else.

Modest eatery near to the Cross in Gloucester, rather good menu and low priced, ( bacon rolls excellent), staff fine , but decor, is well, a bit underwhelming - as Reids coffee shop and the Oliver Twist cafe next door are one and the same place... confused - we were.

50 minute wait from placing order. Clueless / incompetent staff. Paid a 2nd time because 1st had 'failed', guess what? They have taken the payment twice. Yet to get our money back.

This place is a joke. Order half of chicken lemon and herb. Got 8 spicy hot wings instead. 5 chicken strips lemon and herb turned out to be so spicy they weren't enjoyable. Cold wedges and cold garlic bread. Tried to call but no answer. Going to go in tomorrow for a full refund and will never return. Shambles!!!!!!
