Went in for a quick snack after a long day about town. Service was great. Food was fresh. Had the most lightest nan bread. Looked like a fluffy puff of cloud. :D JUST THE WAY I like it. Been to many restaurants around the UK. This is was best. Loved the naga spiced sauce with the poppadoms. The Tandoori grill had heat and warmth. Rice and curries were light with bags of flavour. Children were paid attention to and given drinks of their choices, topped up constantly. As a native asian, who cooks curries at home, I'll will still be back again when I want to have a break from my own cooking.

This is our go to Indian. We have eaten at the restaurant but usually get a takeaway. The food is always delicious & delivered at the time they give you. The delivery & restaurant staff are always polite & pleasant. Food portions are generous & usually enough left for another meal.

Can’t complain with service or the food what I can complain is the owner of this restaurant some how finding my young daughter on social media and sending friend requests posing with cars. Very unprofessional and not sure how he found her either we thought we went to a family run business. Will never return again

We used to eat regularly in Reema and it was always good. We knew it had changed hands and decided to visit last night. We were seated in the raised area towards the rear of the restaurant. This area was undergoing renovation and there was damp plaster on the walls. The service was friendly, the food was average but my Wife found a hair in her meal. When we pointed it out there was little in the way of apology. We asked for the bill which was the full amount. When I took my coat off the back of my chair it was covered in plaster dust from the radiator behind it, as I left I said to the young girl at the desk that it was the worst experience I had ever had in a restaurant, she shrugged her shoulders. As you can imagine we won’t be going back.

Had a fabulous curry here! It's under new management so we were a little wary, but no need to: the waiter was excellent and helpful, and my chicken Madras was pukka! I thoroughly recommend this place.

Second Indian I have tried in Darlington. Below average in my opinion. 4 different dishes ordered. My dish was lacking in flavour and had no heat at all despite being listed as hot on the menu. Despite being the only table dining, service wasn’t very attentive. I wouldn’t return simply because there is much better options! Shame because it is in a great location.

Such a great Indian restaurant in Darlington. I had the Tandoori King Prawn Tikka with rice and Naan. It was excellent. Bold flavor with a sweet heat flavor curry. The staff was great and very courteous. I highly recommend dinning here.

Walk-in on a Friday evening, was found a table with no problem at all as the place was empty. Service was cool but not frosty. Meal was promptly served, hot and tasty however it was evident that frozen veg was used in the vegetable dish. This short cut isn't acceptable when dining out. Additionally, one of the 'senior' waiting staff incessantly snorted phlegm all evening. Although I'm not personally bothered by this and I guess on a busier evening (!) it may have been less obvious - it's still a fairly revolting habit and doesn't add positively to the dining experience. I ordered a beer, popadums and a main. From start to end of meal I was the only customer, dining (and no take-aways left the kitchen). Draw your own conclusions.

This used to be a great restaurant ... Very friendly and accommodating. I haven't been for a while so I'm assuming it's changed hands. We arrived at 10.30pm to eat a late supper and were continually hurried along and harassed and stood over by the waiters, so much so, that we didn't finish our meal. We were made to feel so uncomfortable that we just paid and left. It was 11.40 and we the only customers in .. so we just assumed they were desperate to go home. Not like it used to be and we won't go again.

Food was OK. Service OK. Ambience was slightly affected by sporadic and infuriating skips in the music which seems a small thing, but was really jarring. Portion sizes fine, just nothing special at all really. It's OK.

For an Indian restaurant - (1) they don't make lassis and when I requested for a plain lassi - it was so thick! It was as if they put 3/4 of a tub of yoghurt in a pint glass and added a shot of water then mixed it. Voila! (2) Then I asked for "achaar" which is a spicy pickle (mango pickle, lime pickle, carrot, etc) that's given to eat with a meal for anyone who wants that extra kick. Well they had no idea what achaar was then; they gave a small bowl of lime pickle. THATS ACHAAR! (3) There was way too much red food colouring in the prawn dishes and (4) way too much oil slithering about. The only good thing was the chilli cheese naans!

Reema is well known and established as a really good restaurant. The food is consistently good, brought quickly to the table - but not too quickly. And the owners make you feel welcome and at home. It's unfailingly a top experience. I've taken my wife there, business associates and my mates. It's not ultra-posh. It's reasonably priced. It is comfortable and clean and well presented throughout. I'm delighted to recommend them as have been a customer for many years.

The food was incredible one of the best Indians I have had they also made sure what was and wasn't gluten free for me with no fuss or confusion, it was a little expensive but you get a lot of food and really nice quality. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I enjoyed the nice little touches like after 8 with coffee and a hot cloth to clean hands and face, really enjoyed myself and would defiantly go again no question. Only down side not very nice dessert but I went for the coffee so stick with that and ull have an incredible meal.

Food was good but not hot. I don’t have a clue what was going on but we ordered a late lunch on a Saturday and it took an hour to get to us. Mum had a pie; I think maybe they did the rest too soon then had to wait for that? Was obviously great quality food and lots of it - I had the pork and bacon and would recommend it - but nobody explained the wait and the food really wasn’t hot. Lovely place but a bit disappointing.

Went to Lindisfarne festival with my partner, who has coeliac disease. There were very few options for gluten-free food, so we were excited to find GF loaded fries. After explaining that she can not have anything in the same fryer/even a crumb of gluten, we were assured the food here was coeliac safe. After 15 minutes, my partner was violently ill. We went back to let them know so that they were aware of the issue. They showed very little compassion for how ill she had been, denying any accountability and not even offering an apology. Staff were incredibly condescending. Advocating for yourself and your dietary needs can be difficult, so to be disregarded in this way was really disappointing. For the rest of the festival, my partner was unwell. Perhaps all ingredients/methods need to be reconsidered when offering truly gluten-free food.
