Redz Cafe Ashby in North West Leicestershire

My dad, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious lunch today. We can definitely recommend the jacket potatoes! Excellent prices and as usual, delicious coffee. Thank you to all at Redz, we will be back soon. X

First time being at this establishment , and will definitely not be the last , from the warm welcome to the nicest cup of tea in a chilly day to the fantastic food we ate We partook in a lasagne with garlic bread and salad and ham egg and chips and salad and a pot of tea for 2 , the bill was just over £23 and worth every penny , we don’t live in Ashby but visit now and again and wish we d tried before . The staff have excellent customer service skills and we felt valued , Highly recommended

It was recommended to me and didn’t disappoint We had afternoon tea for 5. Absolutely stuffed. Staff excellent. Even knew someone when I lived here 30 years ago. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. I was not only drooling at our afternoon tea but also the home made food coming out of the kitchen I have to add, they made sugar free scones for us

This is my second time here, I don’t live in the area but I need to come over this way quite often. The greeting is always so welcoming when you first go in. They gesture you to find somewhere you’d like to sit then come over and take your order. There is a variety of food to choose from. They also do milk alternatives and decaff too. The atmosphere is really lovely, very calming and relaxing place. They have art on the walls you can buy as well. I will definitely be a returning customer. They do take away too 😁 think I might treat myself to a yummy cake next time as well 😋

A welcome every time by the friendly staff Another wonderful lunch, the menu is varied and seasonal with fresh produce I had the cottage pie with plenty of bubbling cheese on top served with perfectly cooked carrots broccoli and peas with a serving of gravy My companions both enjoyed the cold sliced ham, golden chips, poached egg and salad garnish. We all had a glass of wine to accompany our meal As we were planning to visit friends I asked for some cakes to take out, and we weren’t disappointed, in fact they were envied by other customers, that thought it to be a lovely idea Thank you until the next time Ann, Tony & Wendy

I visited Redz cafe with my wife and our two kids, aged 7 and 9, and we had a wonderful time! The staff were very friendly. We all enjoyed the cakes, milkshakes and coffee. Overall, I would highly recommend Redz cafe. We will definitely be back!

We love going to Redz. Usually have the breakfast, which is always excellent and cooked to perfection. Today’s lunch was just as nice and the service is really exceptional. We still have to try the afternoon tea 😁

Redz is the place to meet, eat, chat a bit, and enjoy the occasion! Izzzzy & Sandra will be there, front of house, where they will treat you & your party like royalty. The food, prepared on the premises, is splendeeedo! Choose the soup, sandwich & a tub of chips...You will not be disappointed. Oh, by the way, do notice the sign writing over door, posh, just like everything at Redz, it's the number one place to visit in Ashby, when your tummy rumbles! Well done Redz, top marks, CUS.

I went for Afternoon tea. Food was freshly prepared & absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back.

Our first visit to this cafe & I must admit that when we first walked in & I visited the toilet & saw there was no toilet paper, I was worried we had come to the wrong place!! Anyway we decided to stay & sat down & ordered our food & drinks & boy am I glad we did!!! The food was absolutely delicious & piping hot too!! All the staff were lovely & friendly & we will definitely return!!
