This is just the absolute best authentic Asian food. The guys here will definitely go the extra mile. Just wish they were closer as I would be there all the time!! Fabulous

We had their takeaway Chinese New Year Boodle box last night and it was superb! A great variety of delicious tasty morsels. It included sushi rolls, wontons, spring rolls for starters and chicken satay, curry, rice and noodles as well as kimchi, coleslaw and pickles. It was all really delicious. And then a decadent chocolate brownie for dessert. Great value. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely delicious, the best takeout .The valentines boodlebox was full of wonderful food, fresh flavours and local ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our takeout, the service was slick and friendly. Highly recommended!

Love this place. If you want a change from fish and chips or pasties, this is the shop. Fresh and tasty salads and curries, never disappoint. Good walue and service and nice range of complimentary drinks like kombucha. Highly recommend.

The menu is simple and limited but the few dishes they do have are excellent and change on a regular basis. I loved the vegan red curry, my children loved the chicken satay. Very healthy, too. They are very punctual, reliable and responsive as well, and located right next to the beach, just perfect.

My niece and I went in the evening on August 26th. I am vegan so I tried the Teriyaki Tofu Bao and Salad Box. My niece had the same, but with pork belly. They were amazing - from the soft texture of the bun to the tangy salad, perfectly cooked tofu and the incredible crispy chilli mix which adds the most amazing flavour to your Bao (the mix is not overly spicy though). The textures and flavours complemented each other perfectly. The lovely staff walked outside to check on everyone and see how they were getting on. After taking a stroll round Lyme Regis, we were craving more Bao's so came back for a second helping each of the Teriyaki Tofu. We cannot recommend this place enough and would give more stars if possible. We will definitely be returning again and only wish we lived closer.

My son and I were warmly greeted at the Red Panda. The lady who served us (Baoista) was very helpful and explained all the different options to my son. He opted for the Pork and Tofu buns. We were not disappointed! We also had an apple juice with ginger which was so refreshing. We will definitely visit again if we return to Lyme Regis

We stopped here to grab some bao buns for tea and we chose the chicken ones, pork or tofu are also available! And wow... They were absolutely delicious and the best bao buns I've tasted by far - a close competition between Terre a Terre Restaurant in Brighton! Full of chicken, fresh coriander, cucumber, peanut sauce and carrot these little bao buns did not disappoint, one bit! Make sure u grab some napkins tho as they may well ooze out... Would highly, highly recommend giving these bao bun bad boys a go!P. S. Really lovely, friendly people in there too, who will also fill up your water bottle for you!T ❤

We turned up here after having a week on holiday, eating in the gardens of various pubs in the area, they were all fine, a bit vanilla but fine. We thought we'd have something we could take and sit on the beach with a rolled the dice on Red Panda...it was AMAZING.Fresh, healthy, tasty and well priced.

Excellent simple street food, with lots of flavours yet non competing. It all works so well. Bao bun is very good. Satay chicken has a good tang. Loved the cucumber, mine and mint komboucha. All perfect on a hot sunny day.

We were so pleased to be able to get our fantastic Boa buns from Red Panda. We have been fans of the great food here since they opened but have not managed to make it yet this year due to the restrictions. We have been following on Facebook since the re opened and decided to try the text ordering process. This could not have been simpler, we texted what we wanted and were sent a confirmation and link to pay online. (Make sure you text before 10am to avoid disappointment). When we arrived at the agreed time they were just bagging up our buns, really slick service. Our buns were just as tasty as we remembered, such a fresh and tasty treat. They have just the right balance of a bit of spice, fresh coriander, texture from some peanuts in a soft Bao bun. Can't wait to get some more.

My husband and I ate at Red Panda on a short visit to Lyme Regis and I'm extremely glad we did. He had the bao buns and I had a mix of spicy and teriyaki tofu with salad (including some delightfully unusual leaves) and homemade vegan kimchi and coleslaw. It was fresh, delicious and managed to be both filling and light - honestly I could eat here everyday. Excellent and imaginative food from a family run independent at a really competitive price.

We ordered their tofu, salad and rice box and their tofu curry. Both too delicious for words, we could eat like that every day. The salads were just so flavoursome, full of yummy spices and fresh ingredients. Home cooked, no grease, no stodge, all in biodegradable packaging and no plastic in sight. Hallelujah!! Please support this lovely family run business. Reasonably priced too-cheaper than anything else available and I bet a whole load more yum too.Really friendly service too. I'm giving them a great review because it's deserved and seriously you don't come across this much, particularly in the west country!!

Absolutely delicious takeaways. We stayed in Lyme Regis for 3 days and stumbled across this tiny cafe. The satay rice box with crispy chilli and salad was so tasty and fresh that we ended up having it for lunch every day! It was right next to the beach and I highly recommend going if you are ever in Lyme Regis. Perfect for vegans too as you could have tofu instead of meat in the rice box. Wish there was one near my home!

I have been to Red Panda in Lyme Regis on two occasions and both have been tremendous. The food was absolutely beautiful; nutritious and full of flavour! The staff are great very friendly and want to build a rapport with you which is brilliant. Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing pork belly bao bun from red panda today! The flavours were amazing- we will definitely be back!

We smelt this restaurant before we went inside! Tiny premises, mainly for takeaways but we took all four of the bench seats and table. Very flavoursome, tasty, spicy Chinese food - we had bao, pork and chicken and lush salads - best food we had all week!

We absolutely love lyme Regis,we visit several times a year. There are a few nice places to eat, chip shop by the mill is our favourite chippie. We fancied something different, then we spotted thai Street food!!It was absolutely lovely we had steambuns one veggie one meat, really tasty great price. Only downside there isn't much space to eat only a little table, but on a dry February day we parked our bums on a wall outside.We can't wait to visit the Red panda again

Had a spicy tofu bao bun for lunch which was delicious. Tofu came with a spicy bean paste and several crisp tangy salads in a steamed bun. Really fresh and good value. Pleasant small seating area allowing conversation between diners. Owner very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend

We had the Bao Buns (Tofu & Chicken). Both were delicious. We also had the fruit smoothies that hit the spot. Really friendly service too. The only shame is that there isn't much room for eating in, but then it hardly ever rains in Lyme Regis does it?

We had lunch here today, having discovered it in a little street in Lyme Regis. It's a tiny little gem of a place where you can pick up the healthiest, but most delicious of lunches imaginable. The staff were lovely, food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious and had a cosy corner to sit in and dog friendly too.

We were so shocked at the quality of the Asian food in Lyme regis. We spent 3 years in HK and this was very authentic with loads of super fresh, flavoursome and thoughtfully prepared dishes. The lunch box with salads, rice and tofu were stunning. The Bao also incredible. We will be back!

I had the pork belly salad which was great. well cooked non chewy pork belly with lovely warm rice accompanied by a selection of fresh tasty salads. All served in guilt free eco friendly packaging so you can eat on the beach front. Highly recommend.

Our only regret is that this lovely little takeaway was shut almost every time we passed by for the few days we spent in Lyme Regis last week.

I went into Lyme Regis with my boyfriend and looked for places to eat. Red Panda was rated as 5 stars which is pretty much my rating! It was worth the visit! We had the very fresh and tasty pork and rice dish with veggie! We loved it so much! Natalie and her husband were very friendly warm and service was excellent! I even had a free taste of some pickled veg ( atsara ) which I missed from home.

Super little avian takeaway, good prices, such a lovely lady who served us. Has the Pork Belly Bao and Chicken Satay Bao, with spicy side salad. Fresh coriander sprinkled on top. She is plastic free, so all paper and wooden utensils - will fill water bottles for free. Really cracking little place right by the beach.

A cute little place that is tucked In between the quaint shops of Lyme Regis. I fancied sonething different to eat & this was the perfect place to grab a delicious Bao of which was fresh delicious & I would say one of the best Bao I have ever had. The staff were warm & friendly and the prices were very reasonable so highly recommended a visit next time you are in Lyme Regis

I went in early evening to get a takeaway meal for one. I had the spicy tofu rice and salad bowl and was greeted and served by a wonderful lady who was warm, welcoming and open - which for a solo traveller in the evening (when everyone else is hunkering down with their partners/families) was such a welcome treat.

Visited Red Panda yesterday, along with friends, to buy our takeaway lunches to eat by the shore. We all agreed that it was superb. Very tasty food - so much so that I've been craving for another helping all day. Staff extremely helpful and friendly too. Best of all, it was a really healthy lunch and at a good price too. We shall be back very soon.

Eaten here three times this Summer for lunch and been delighted with the food every visit. I have had the Chicken Bao buns and the chicken rice and salad dishes. Really fresh and great taste. Best lunch in Lyme. Not so.e tables inside but we grabbed a bench looking g out to sea to eat and it was marvelous.

I absolutely love the food at red panda, and have become a regular there now. If you want something a little different from the normal pasties and fish and chips, go here for a more healthy and exciting option! I particularly recommend the pork, but everything is just so good!!

A local friend in Lyme Regis took me to Red Panda for a late, reasonably priced and absolutely delicious and fresh lunch. We ordered one of everything and shared it. Natalie had us try all of the local flavored drinks. Such interesting flavors. We savored every bite of the pork belly bao and salad.

Really impressed by this lovely little gem. Don’t expect slick, impersonal service. Instead expect friendly greeting and reasonably priced, tasty food.

Not normally the kind of place we would eat but having been let down by a nearby establishment we were desperate. Well what a joy - Asian street food at it's best - in fact so good we came back two nights on the trot. It has a 5 star rating for a reaon - highly recommended.

I stopped by to grab a takeaway lunch after walking past the restaurant on a number of occasions during my stay in Lyme Regis. I can’t recommend this highly enough. The salad was absolutely amazing, the portion size was more than enough. Lots of textures and flavours which worked well with each other. It is simple food but done incredibly well!

After looking for somewhere to eat in Lyme Regis we found this place. Small in size with small table inside and some seating outside looking at the view of the sea. BIG in flavour. We had the chicken satay rice box and the pork belly rice box with salads and some spicy fermented side dish. My taste buds were on fire and I have to say this was the BEST Asian food I have ever eaten, you will not be disappointed and the couple who run the place are very nice people and talk you through what they have on offer with no pressure. Definitely going back !!

Zoals veel mensen doen check je natuurlijk Trip Advisor als je wil gaan lunchen. Wij vonden dit als de nummer 1 en als je dan ook nog dichtbij de locatie bent waarom zou je dan hier niet gaan lunchen? Er is helaas wel maar 1 tafeltje binnen en die was bezet dus wij hebben de gekozen rijstsalade met kip sate meegenomen en ergens buiten opgegeten met een prachtig uitzicht over de zee. Er wordt goed rekening gehouden met eventuele allergieën en alles wordt op maat gemaakt. Als het druk is zou het kunnen zijn dat de wachttijden heel lang zijn waardoor ze ten onder gaan aan hun eigen succes.

You must try this place for a full box of deliciousness. My family and I ummed and arred about where to eat and then we clocked this place. I had the pork belly and rice salad box. It was fresh and delicious and value for money. All packaging and cutlery were recyclable which was a plus.

We had read the many excellent reviews and decided it was a must. We weren't disappointed. We have never had food like this before and it was simply delicious. The old taste buds were tickled long after finishing! We had a pork bao bun - something we have never tried before, a rice and salad box with satay chicken and a vegetarian option with tofu. It was all outstanding. We will definitely manage another lunch or tea before we head back home. The owners were so friendly too, giving suggestions on what to try and even some fossil hunting tips and local places to visit( we found some great ones - so thanks for that). Love Lyme Regis...Love Red Panda.

Picked up a couple of the pork Bao buns from here on our way back to the beach and they were exceptional! Trust the guys behind the counter and let them put all the toppings they recommend on (unless you have allergies) - it was the most amazing flavour combo. Simply stunning!

Really tasty colourful food done right and the ambience inside just added to our experience! You watch everything prepared in front of you and we went with a few recommended dishes. Lovely Bao by the sea! We had the pork and the chicken one, both very tasty. We didn’t have to wait long to be served and the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. Ate the buns on a bench overlooking the sea with ma fav.

Friendly staff, sea-view, and delicious fresh food. The salads were absolutely amazing, with organic Trill Farm flavours. The meal was full of flavour. Compact seating, but lovely friendly atmosphere.

We popped in on a busy day in town, and after a short wait, were served a most delicious lunch. Lovely fresh salads, pickles and juices, with a friendly couple of faces behind the counter. The Bao buns and kombucha were a delight.

We popped into this little gem of a find. A lovely interior and fabulous smells let you know that good things lie ahead, and wow do they. We had a Bao bun with Satay chicken and a rice box with teriyaki tofu(a first for me) the food was an absolute knock out. The flavours were spot on the different garnishes were fresh and lifted the dishes to another level.

Easy to see why this is rated as #1 in town. Tasty food and very reasonably priced. Possibly not so good in bad weather as there isn’t really room to sit inside, but that would defeat the object of the street food being served anyway

This place is a good enough reason to visit Lyme Regis on it's own accord! One of the best thai places I've ever eaten at. Such an unpretentious little spot, but sweet Jesus, the flavours... I had the chicken teriyaki in a dumpling with a salad box, gorgeously presented. My taste buds were singing. Shame I live too far to just casually pop down a few days a week (read EVERY day of the week). Not that the 3h return drive wouldn't be worth it...

Bow bun and salad was great, seating is rustic if you can get it but it adds to the experience, staff were friendly.. the only downside was I felt the BAU buns themselves were small for The price, left hungry.

One rainy and cold June lunchtime we had a great meal in Red Panda. Natalie introduced us to Kombucha - a great accompaniment to the Bao Buns with Tofu! Hope to visit again soon!

This place is great! Lovely authentic asian flavours in their Bao Buns! Its a small menu but what is on offer is great! It is fast becoming my favourite place to eat.. and its not too bad health wise either! Cannot recommend highly enough!

The seating was awful and uncomfortable so spoilt experience, food was ok but a bit expensive for the quantity given.

Tried both the pork belly and chicken satay in steamed bao buns and both were delicious. Accompanying salad a bit 'confused' by comparison - a simple green salad would have been perfect and this salad had too many flavours for my liking (personal choice I know).

Amongst all the pasty and chip shops we found this small gem. The food is fresh, simple and very, very tasty. Boa with tofu was perfect and the salad with it was delicious. Service was prompt and smiley. Thank you 😃
