Such a hidden gem! Well worth going for a drink. I visited with my friend and we sat and had a couple of glasses of wine outside watching the World go by. Lovely spot and a warm welcome. Great variety of wines and good knowledge from the owner. Highly recommended.

Amazing! Never written a review before but genuinely felt I had to, given how excellent both the food and drinks and service were. Owner was accommodating and friendly. Service excellent, food sublime . Fillet steak on a stone was amazing and beer was lovely too. Will definitely be be back (probably next week) but would highly recommend to anyone . Louth has many nice places to eat but this is a hidden gem and only frustration is after many years we have not been here before

Stumbled on this cute bar down a side street. Enjoyed a Bavarian (ABK) half and a glass of Italian white wine, helped by the very knowledgeable manager. Sat outside opposite a very tempting sweet shop so just had to go in....

My husband and I called into Red Nana's for a coffee whilst we were on holiday in Lincolnshire and were spending the day driving around the Lincolnshire Wolds. We'd never been to Louth before and were just walking past. What a great place! Really homely, cosy, quirky decor with lots of interesting pictures and ornaments. Also, a great display - and wide choice - of bottles of wine to purchase and take away. The owner was really friendly and eager to please. He was most apologetic that he'd run out of tea cakes and made me a lovely, sweet replacement snack on the house. My husband loved the background blues music too. Apparently, when things are 'normal', there is live music, usually duos. We only wish we live closer as it was our kind of place and it deserves to do well.

We don’t go out much at the moment but tonight we treated ourselves to an evening at Red Nana’s, Louth’s coolest wine bar. Mark has the Covid rules down to a fine art which makes you feel really safe whilst still retaining the lovely atmosphere and chilled vibes. Really delicious meal and wines. Can’t recommend highly enough.

My husband and I stumbled upon a very cool and quirky cafe/bar in Louth today. What a lovely surprise it turned out to be.Firstly we were very impressed with the Ambience, Music and Cool decor, it gave us a feel good factor resulting in a very relaxed dining experience. We ordered two full English Breakfasts and we were not disappointed by the quality and quantity, the coffees were lovely too. Although the menu was only small there was a good variety. With an array of different wines to choose from we think it would be a great place for chilling. Both the owner and the young man serving were very pleasant and attentive and we were very impressed by the safety measures they had put in place for Coved 19 . We will tell all our friends about this hidden treasure and we look forward to our next visit.

We popped in for lunch, a small and large breakfast were ordered with coffee and tea. The charming girl informed us that there were no sausages but offered extra bacon. The food was hot and tasty and well presented and we were offered extra coffee and tea at no charge. The gentleman behind the bar was also very polite and courteous. All in all a warm comfortable place with lovely staff and nice music. We will return.

We dropped into this place on the of chance of having a bite to eat and a drink, we where served by a charming woman but sadly that’s where it ended..ordered 2 coffees tasted burnt but that was the worst part, we ordered 2 cheese toasties and where served 2 cheeses toasties and to our surprise they use a slice of processed cheese!! Come on how much does it cost for a block of cheddar?? To say the least it was horrible and really unacceptable to sell a plastic piece of cheese..after paying £12 we left and won’t be back. The place was ok overall but with all the places to eat and drink in Louth I would advise you take a look at what you get elsewhere for similar money

I love this place, its small & intimate you can't get too may there but that makes it even better. The atmosphere is always good, live music is great (especially as its always acoustic not too intrusive) but easy to listen to and pleasant. The food is good, my one and only gripe is that its not all that veggie/vegan friendly although you won't starve you can make do. More choices would be great but it wouldn't put me off because it is such a great little place xxx

Recent "off the cuff" visit, a Saturday night, no one else inside eating, ok give it a go. Very small choice menu, quite pricy, nice atmosphere, I'd rate it as a wine bar but not to eat. A Caribbean and Beef Main dish each which when delivered, on plate, just with rice as mentioned. Would equate to a microwave meal in texture and content. Wouldn't go again to eat, £9.50 and £8.50 for that in the evening was rather steep and it certainly didn't feel/look like a main meal, just something you could easily cobble together as a stew. It had potential to be great. Unfortunately on the food side, not.

If you want somewhere to go and chill with a fine selection of wines, beers and delicious foods then this is the place. From the moment you walk in Mark and his staff make you feel welcome and relaxed and the venue has a warm feeling about it. The choice of wines will suit every taste and everyone's pocket along with a fine selection of bottled beers with Hop House on draught. The food is lovely with a wide choice which varies from week to week, personally i like to order several different dishes and share which works very well. Great place to go whether alone, as a couple or in a group you'll always be made welcome.

It was 9.30pm in Louth and bitterly cold. We had already been turned away by two restaurants and entered Red Nanas, attracted by the warm lighting and colours. Could we have something to eat? Yes, of course, find yourself somewhere to sit and we'll take your order. We had stew, cheeseboard and a salad, washed down with Merlot, Estrella and pale ale. All very tasty and well presented. Cheeseboard in particular had some delicious samples. Staff were lovely. A cosy restaurant, perfect for a winter evening.

Me and my friends decided to try Red Nana's last week. Really nicely surprised by this place. Felt at ease straight away, as the staff were very welcoming. We shared a bottle of wine, and decided one wasn't enough. Sunk into the sofa, we chatted and laughed all night. Will definitely be going back. Think this is my favourite new hangout!

Recently opened and Mark (Owner) has done very well. The food is very good but is more for a snack than a full meal, however the menu is quite extensive and the service from the staff is very efficient. Does wraps during the day and slow cooked main dishes in the evening which are delicious.

I have visited twice and the staff and owner seem very friendly. Food and wine good so far. I think it may be a bit hit & miss in terms of opening hours and I think they're looking for mainly wine bar type evening business but is open during the days but no website to check opening times. They do utilise Facebook so maybe more info there. I wish them good luck. Note: No parking outside as pedestrianized area. They hope to get outside seating soon subject to licence.

We visited here for breakfast after a very busy morning packing up our tent to go home after a stay at a nearby campsite (extra points for being dog friendly!). All very hungry there were plenty of options to choose from and even the option to build your own breakfast which was great for my daughter who wouldn’t eat a full breakfast but would still like certain items! The staff were lovely, the service was quick and the food was delicious! Extra shoutout to the iced latte and the big buts breakfast. It was amazing! We will definitely be returning when we are back in Anderby. Thank you!

Spotted from the car park and decided to stop for a coffee. There was some seating outside so perfect for anyone with dogs. It was a beautiful spring day so we also decided to have some cakes and a cheese scone. I have to say the cakes were fab and the cheese scone was the best I have ever had. Can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended.

After having had a fantastic experience here midweek during the summer, we promised ourselves we would be back for Sunday dinner. We booked by email, which was confirmed within minutes, Howe when we arrived there was no record of the booking. I was able to find the confirmation email. We were told that we could be accommodated but it would have to be in the bar area as there were 3 other bookings which already had restaurant tables reserved. We were advised to pick a table and they would set it up for us. We showed them where we would like to sit and waited for someone to bring some seating to the table. After 10 minutes we were still standing so found a different table which had seats in place. (We had already informed them that my husband was recovering from a broken ankle) Eventually the waitress came and gave us cutlery and placemats but no salt and pepper. She took our meat orders and I asked whether the veg would include cauliflower cheese, as I would like to not have it, as I have an allergy/intolerance. We waited a further half an hour for our meals, which came with the vegetables served on a tray, including the cauliflower cheese. There was only one spoon which was resting in the cheese sauce so I had to request another one. I then dished myself up a spoonful of swede/carrot mash and one broccoli floret. I did try to dish up some cabbage but found that when lifted from the plate, the cabbage came out from under the cauliflower cheese and covered in the sauce, so I had to not have cabbage. After the meal, the waitress came to clear the table. She dropped some vegetables on the tablecloth and asked if we wanted puddings to which I responded yes. After waiting for 38 minutes with no sign of the waitress to clean the table or take our pudding order, we decided to leave. On taking our payment the bar staff asked if everything had been ok, so I mentioned the above. He simply said, ‘sorry about that ‘but the mains were ok?’ I chose not to continue with the conversation, as my husband had overheard the barman say that he was going to rip someone’s head off. We are really disappointed as we had been telling everyone about how good our experience in the summer was. To top it all, there was a very large dog in the area which smelled strongly and a group of young children also came and used the pool table right next to us, despite there being a notice advising that nobody under 16 was allowed to use it. Another customer did point it out but was ignored. One or two little things we could have overlooked/forgiven but unfortunately there were too many today and we won’t be back

An unassuming little place that offers a friendly welcome and excellent, attentive service. It's got a cosy, slightly bio/eco feeling with very interesting plants and an insect hotel outside the door. Menu is limited but more than adequate for a light lunch or afternoon tea. Nice music playing unobtrusively in the background too. A really great touch is their bottomless cup for tea or coffee. Blink and you'll miss this place as you drive along the busy and fast A52 between Boston and Skegness. It's on a cross-roads just after the main Friskney village turn-off travelling NE. But DON'T miss it because it really is a worthwhile pit-stop. Opposite, down the lane towards the Wash, there is some brilliant wild walking.
