Popped in for coffee on a cold walk, stayed for the warmth, friendly service and Christmas cocktails! Amazing festive drinks 🍷

Brilliant service, great food cosy and very welcoming.

I took my friend for lunch today and couldn't fault it the food was amazing, we were looked after so well by Jack very attentive and cheerful, didn't have to wait long in-between courses, will definitely be back again.

Stayed at the Red Lion as we had a wedding to attend close by. Daniel and the staff were terrific. Room was great, nestled in historic pub and town.

Had a wonderful dinner, server was really friendly and fun, definitely recommend

Stayed for a couple of nights for work, the place is a traditional inn, the rooms are nice and airy, only thing I will say is WATCH YOUR HEAD! There are a lot of low ceilings in this place. Staff are great, food is good, beer is good, all round a good hotel.

Delicious Sunday roast, staff just a little disinterested.

Stayed for 2 nights in June. We are very experienced b & b users and rate this place in our top 5! Everything about it is faultless, from the great welcome to our reluctant departure. The staff are all fantastic - friendly, efficient and helpful whenever needed. Our room was amazing - large, clean, good view at front, with everything needed for a great comfortable stay. We ate breakfast, lunch and evening meals here - all food was of great quality and evening meals were good restaurant standard. The atmosphere throughout this amazing place is spot on. Locals are friendly too! What more could we want?! I highly recommend this gorgeous country pub and offer our heartfelt thanks to lovely Dan and his great team for a faultless finish to what had previously been a stressful week.

Disappointed food mediocre, Overpriced for size and quality, menu lacked choice some of staff could be a little more happy in there work.would not go again.

Popped in for a pint with the engine on a little road run while attending the Bloxham rally, the pud was lovely nice location and was at the time quite quiet, staff very friendly and received us very well with the engine parked outside.

Good selection of beers, good customer service.

We had a lovely lunch in the Tudor room. Orders are taken at the table and you cannot use the Greene King.

I stopped here over night as a half way place between home and my destination. I was greated with a warm smile and given all the information about the pub being old and to watch my step. Had dinner, the seabass risotto and this was lovely! Will come again.

Meals where not as advertised on the menu very disappointed will not be going again

Popped in this morning for a coffee, and decided stay for a chicken ciabatta, was delicious and tasty. Will be back soon with friends

Yes we came for mothers day meal yesterday and I was absolutely disappointed with the meal my salmon was not a good colour and sat on 3 small potatoes my husband's fish and chips where burnt and the puddings whereso small and not very nice I felt we where severd in a hurry and for £134 this service is not expected hope I will be hearing from you soon or I will be reporting to Green pin head office
