Grays Restaurant in Cherwell

Worst sauce I have ever tasted. I grow my own herbs I love mint and I love lamb but not this version. The “mint”sauce ruined beautifully cooked tender lamb. It smelled of soap and tasted like it too.this was a special anniversary meal with lovely Chateauneuf du Pape wine so this was sad especially as chef went to the trouble of nice touch of little sweet treats at the end of our meal.

The chicken burger was delicious and the wait staff very friendly and polite.

Could do with new decor especially colour of walls. Food was better than I expected, service was very good

Wow the food is very good here the starters and mains were not only delicious but I was blown away by the presentation it was something from a high end diner in London . The meal was reasonably priced combined with excellent service and a beautiful location.

Open water swimming facilities are great
