La Tua Pasta - Bicester Village in Cherwell

A wonderful restaurant. Try it with mushrooms and olives on margarita pizza. Roasted potatoes on the side. Perfect. I recommend.

We visit Bicester Shopping Village at least once a year, and always at Christmas time to buy my wife her annual Villeroy and Boch ornament. We've eaten at all of the restaurants/ cafes at one time or another, I just fancied pasta on the day and as we walked out of V&B there was this advertisement for La Tua Pasta. We went in on spec; we were seated straight away, very lucky, as shortly afterwards they were maxed out. Service was with a smile, the waiter explained all of the pasta was made in house and fresh that morning. My wife has a small appetite and ordered the pecorino filled dough balls with crispy kale starter. I have to say, they were delicious (I was actually allowed half of one!). They were cooked to perfection and the crispy kale was a delight to compliment the dish. In my mind I fancied a tuna dish before going in to La Tua, there was no tuna on the menu but they did have a Crab mousse filled black tortellini. These came beautifully cooked, bursting to the seams, literally, with crab mousse, and plenty of tortellini. It was the most expensive dish on the menu, it did not disappoint. La Tua is by far the best restaurant, in my opinion, at Bicester Village. If you like Italian food, you should definitely give La Tua a try. They do pizza as well, and looking at other diners pizzas, they looked delicious too. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Bicester.

Ate there yesterday . Great customer service . We were part of a large party and the lady on front of house fitted us in so helpfully . The food and wine was 10/10. . We shared a few dishes between 3 of us and all excellent . Fast attentive service . Bought some pasta to take home too . Lovely cosy vibe .in restaurant . Nice area outside too . Very impressed . Look forward to visiting again

The atmosphere is nice. We had to wait 10 minutes before they took our order and I had to tell several times. The food was great but one of the dishes was very greasy and exceptionally fatty. The atmosphere was great.

We are regulars at La Tua Pasta living just 20 mins away, and when my husband says "I need pasta" well, we head to La Tua. We first discovered it in Borough Market about a decade ago so were thrilled to see they were Bicester bound. We dine there approx once a month and the food is consistently outstanding, seasonal menus and always great service. Nadine is an absolute superstar and a real credit to the business.

When we walked in the place was packed which is promising and our host was really kind. We entered the restaurant as a family and my sibling ordered the same thing as me which was pasta and some fries. The fries were crispy and soft on the inside and they also give you some cheese. For the pasta it had so much meet chunk although it was a bit hard to chew.

Staff members are very rude, and their food is really the worst Italian food I ever ate. If you want to wasted your money and have a bad experience, go to this restaurant.

When you are greeted at the door with a smile and a warm greeting, you immediately feel valued and put at ease Thank you Nadia/Nadina. The restaurant, is apparently the only seated restaurant in the chain, so I can’t wait for them to expand as long as they don’t lose their ethos of great food, great service. It wasn’t long after being seated we were handed the menus and offered drinks, the menu is a pasta menu, to start we shared chilli and garlic king prawns plus aubergine fried in bread crumbs in pasta. Both were full of taste, quite filling. For mains it was British crab and mascarpone tortelloni highly delicious in a tomatoes sause topped with Parmesan. The other main was tonnarelli with king prawns. No room for pudding only a macchiatos to finish. The restaurant prides itself on fresh pasta and you can certainly taste the difference, we’ve been before, we will go again. Look up the menu online. Pricing was quite reasonable, i’ve had pub meals that were more expensive and not so tasty. A shout out to the staff, polite, attentive and quick.

Amazing pasta - I had the ricotta tortellini, and they were the most delicious that I have ever tried. The only downside was that we felt rushed - the place tends to get busy, and perhaps that's the reason why there's a lack of customised service. You feel like as soon as you finish your meal, you need to get out. Other than that, I do recommend the pasta.

As new parents to a 7 month old baby, we barely get to leave the house. We went for a family outing to Bicester which included a trip to this restaurant. We were told by the lady that it was a 30 minute wait for a table and to leave our telephone number for a text message. On the basis that we thought we had half an hour - we went away to find changing facilities for our baby. Low and behold a table was free sooner than that time but we'd unfortunately missed the text messages in the midst of running baby duties. I accept the error of missing the texts was ours but it was the lack of kindness on the part of the staff at the door which got me. The temperature had dropped and we were holding our baby to keep her a little warm, it would have been nice to get her into a warm place and to sit down ourselves for something hot to eat. The staff member made little attempt to rebook us and just said sorry and let us leave. It is just a shame that people lack the heart to be helpful, especially when they can see there is a young baby too. The lady at the door was just blunt and literal, with not much by way of people skills. I don't think institutions realise that a little kindess could go a long way especially for parents braving the busy outdoors with such a young child. Fortunately we were met with a little more kindness at a coffee shop nearby and baby was made to feel a little warmer in there.

The food was amazing ,delightful atmosphere ,only one thing is quite upset .the receptionist she was with terrible attitude.Spoke with people very impolitely .What a shame for such a nice restaurant .be careful whom you hired .

The menu and interior of the restaurant looked promising, and so my fiancé and I decided to pop in at the end of a visit to Bicester Village to have an early dinner. We were seated, handed menus and then completely ignored for 15 minutes, at which point we decided to leave. On the way out, we were greeted by someone serving at the front of house. My fiancé mentioned that we hadn't eaten anything because we never got served. The manager, stood next to said staff member, simply glared at her with indifference. No apology, nor even the courtesy of recognizing what had happened. Given the wealth of outstanding owner-run restaurants in the area, establishments like this do not deserve to remain in business and I personally wouldn't come here again if you paid me.

The food here is usually good & really decent however I was really disappointed by a recent visit. I’m a staff member in the village so I came here to treat myself & get lunch. I knew it would be busy but I didn’t mind waiting as long as I would get to collect some food to take away & be able to enjoy on my lunch. I waited a fairly long queue and even though I just wanted to collect food and go I didn’t skip and waited my turn like any other customer. When I spoke to someone and informed I was staff & just wanted a quick lunch, they told me to wait in a corner & that someone would help me. Waited some more again patiently which I didn’t mind. Another person approached after some time & I told them the same thing which to they replied you shouldn’t wait here you can go and order outside, I did think the first person could have just told me that instead of me wasting all that time, but again I patiently went outside and waited as I was trying to be understanding that they were busy. I then went and now spoke to a 3rd person after having wasted most of my break, to then be told I won’t be able to collect anything for quite sometime. It was quite disappointing as I wasted my break, didn’t even get to eat anything in the end, & it’s not the fact that they weren’t able to serve me but the communication with the staff, as someone could have just told me from the beginning so I wouldn’t have wasted my time & spoken to 3 people to then find out. I think in the future it’s best to take these situations in consideration and if it’s busy just to not offer services that are going to be difficult to fulfill and inform clients of at least.

Bicester Village is full of overpriced shops that cater for people with more money than sense. Wasted 1 hour walking around poncy shops, Oxford City centre is much more interesting.

Great food...nice ambience and a welcome after all the shopping

This is my second time at La Tua Pasta in Bicester Village, and I’m just as impressed as the first! As someone who loves Italian food, this place never disappoints. The pasta is fresh, homemade, and full of flavor the quality really stands out. The atmosphere is cozy. After the meal, it’s perfect to stroll around Bicester Village to walk it off! 😂 Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back!

Food was amazing. Very noisy and Service was a little slow to start and then ended up being absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend sharing with someone so you can try more of the food ! The only iffy bit was that the pizza wouldn't come out at the same time as the rest of the food as they're from "different kitchens " hopefully this can be fixed with a bit of communication because with the prices you should be able to eat at the same time as your companions.

Sat outside here so not sure of the atmosphere inside, but the food was great. Service wasn’t but it’s ok, food made up for it. Price was also decent.

super yummy!!! pasta was very reasonably priced and very tasty. we could tell that the pasta was home made and had a very nice texture. the pizza was delicious, we had ordered the pepperoni and were very surprised as to how good the pepperonis were. we ordered the ricotta & asparagus tortelloni and prawn & crab tagliatelle both were nice but i would say the tortelloni had a little too much butter and can get a little sickening. the tagliatelle had a really strong crab flavor so i wouldn’t recommend it to someone who doesn’t like seafood. service was fast and friendly. i would highly recommend !!

Great food. Vegetarian lasagne and truffle pasta were very good. Pizza also looked really good and one to try next time.

Overview: An upmarket italian restaurant with really nice interior specialising in fresh pasta. Main dishes range from £15-£25. Pros✅: All the pasta dishes tasted fresh and freshly made from the kitchen. I also liked how they bring out olive oil, balsamic vinegar, parmesan and chilli flakes for the table. Interior decor was really nice and added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend their filled pasta as they are of a decent size and have a good amount of filling. Perfect for dinner after a day of shopping. Quiet on weekday dinners which was really nice. Cons❌: Service was just average, was expecting a bit more as it does seem like a higher end restaurant as they made us feel quite rushed when ordering off the menu. The prawn pasta that we ordered also didn’t have much depth of flavour, tasted quite plain which was unexpected. The rigatoni alla gricia was also quite dry and lacked in the amount of sauce given. Recommended dishes: 🍝Black truffle and mascarpone ravioli 🥖Focaccia with tomatoes

The food was the worst I have ever had. The waiter seemed not to have cared. She told me she didn’t cook it. Called the supervisor who was equally so so. Worst service worst food. I still paid for the bad food I hardly ate. Never never

Food is beautiful, full of flavour and well presented.Staff were very polite and welcoming. Would have preferred a quieter table as they had closed off half the seating area, everyone was so close to each other. But that doesn't take away that this is a great place with great food and good staff. Would definitely recommend and return.

Great little restaurant in Bicester Village, busy so expect to wait if you want to eat indoors and also no toilet inside, although there is a public one next door which is very clean and modern etc... hence service 3 stars, although the lady serving us was fantastic so this doesn't reflect on her

Absolutely incredible food and service! We fly to London from New York especially for La Tua! Harry served us today and his service was exceptional! He was very attentive, gave great suggestions and his happy go lucky demeanor and patience added immensely to our wonderful experience! Anything with truffle is our go to here! We were extremely pleased with the food and absolutely elated with the service and overall experience! Thank you to the team at La Tua and hope you open an NYC branch in the very near future!

The environment, staff and food far exceeded our expectations. Most restaurants serve so,so food, with so,so service. Not La Tua, the Chilli/garlic prawn starter was perfect, prawns de-veined and plump. The pizza was light and perfectly cooked. Thanks to the staff for making our day special.

It was a magnificent time spent at La Tia Pasta after a couple of hours of shopping. i opted for some pizza and truffle fries which were superb. The atmosphere was lovely and so were the staff (chicken is halal)!

Getting a place is a challenge, but if you manage it, you gotta eat here. The staff is amazing, considering how crowded it gets, they do a super job managing it all.

We asked for a table for 5 people at 4pm and was told by an aggressive lady that she doesn't have space for us. I politely asked how long a the wait will be and again she aggressively said at least 2 hours. She didn't apologise, it was clear she was just trying to get rid of us. I won't ever go back despite being a regular visitor of BV.

Very bad Service we was waiting for almost an hour to get all our food and at the end we didn’t get all what we’ve ordered. Not recommended at all especially if you don’t want to waste your time since you are her for mainly shopping.

My husband and I had lunch at this place on one of the afternoon during our visit to Bicester village. Place itself is a little bland. However Ravioli was Delicious. Pizza was good too. Generous portions served. Would recommend trying.

The food is delicious.. Be careful when ordering and ask about the toppings.. Order pasta without chicken, it is delicious, the same as any Italian store.. and we liked the margherita pizza.. there is a pizza for vegetarians, which we did not like at all.

Food tastes good but took exactly 47 minutes for the food to arrive. It was 3pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was only half full. There were nearly 10 staff walking around but no one noticed my order (1 pasta dish) never arrived. It wasn’t until I requested a follow up did they realised either the kitchen or one of the staff made a mistake. Very disappointed.

Terrible, we took the croquets to start, it was not crunchy, looked like a gum. And then we ordered a truffle pasta and a lasagna, the pasta was not truffle, it was mushrooms, but charging the price of truffles, and lasagna was very dry! Disaster! Typical fake Italian restaurant!

Mediocre food, very poor organization between service and cuisine as the dishes currently available compared to those on the menu, we had to order three times because each time they returned after about ten minutes to inform us that the dish was not available

I used to eat at this restaurant in Bister Village but today the staff were rude and inappropriate I wanted to change my table because it was cold and they told me it was not allowed even though there were tables available please next time they will be more friendly especially the restaurant manager

The Italian restaurant is fantastic, with delicious cuisine and a warm atmosphere. ((Ajay’s)) kindness and excellent service stood out; he was attentive, polite, and always smiling. His professionalism made our dining experience truly special. This restaurant is perfect, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit.

Good Italian food with a decent variety of dishes

Their pizza was delicious. We tried the margherita and some of the pasta, the truffle tortellini was delicious, and the Caesar salad was ordinary. In general, their food is delicious. Their chicken is halal, but the meat is not.

We eat at La Tua on average 6 times a year. It has always been busy and bustling though the staff and food are always great. The pizza is flavourful with good dough and the pasta and sauces well presented and full of flavour. The coffee is pretty good too. I've been served on several occasions by Ersin, who is always excellent. They possibly could do with 2 more staff during the weekends but good staff also hard to find. Some might give them 3 or 4 for service but I think the hard work with a smile they all put in carries the day
