Excellent food at an affordable price

Chicken sweetcorn soup ordered and the chicken was mouldy!

The food here is amazing so fresh and tasty it’s the best Chinese in Nottingham we ordered salt and pepper chicken, veg chowmein and chicken chowmein! 100% recommend I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Feel like this place has dropped a little this year I used to go at least once a week just for the salt and pepper wings but they do not seem as nice anymore also the sauces seem abit difrent I can't find d one that I like prices have increased also

Not sure if it was due to them being busy or normal (sat 5pm) Girl taking order was very rude, if people aren't your thing don't work out front Unable to eat the food, it was cold, sauce so watery it had no taste, spare ribs were so tough, looked like they had been deep-fried, what little meat was on them couldn't get it off, to top it off there was hair in my food, really disappointed with experience

I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls with egg fried rice and some chai spring rolls on the side. The spring rolls were dripping with oil and the inside was frozen! The rice was unfortunately flavourless and disappointing aswell

I have a treat every week Friday or Saturday, I love Red hat 3 . Lovely staff and mmmm delicious treat , the prawn crackers are to die for. Mmmm

Very good quantity and quality, and many dishes has good Chinese flavour. My wife (Chinese) thinks it’s quite authentic.

Ordered 2 big salt and pepper chicken boxes and they were disgusting, all the chicken was like stringy jelly, my partner is currently being sick from it, and I feel so sick myself. Rang the place to tell them and no refund was offered. Won’t be ordering from here ever again.

I will NEVER,EVER order from this place again,,I live on melbourne road which is a quarter of a mile away from this shop(check on google maps) it took an hour to arrive which was 20 min's longer than the big foodie app said and when i asked the delivery driver WHY? he just shrugged his shoulders and said "I DON'T KNOW" the food was COLD and horribly bland,the beef was like chewing a leather WORK BOOT and nothing tasted fresh,i am 54 so have had a huge amount of chinese in my life and believe me when i say that this really WAS one of the worst i have ever tried and i am convinced i could cook a better chinese just by following a recipe on google and i am not Chinese!!,COOK IT YOURSELF,IT WILL TASTE BETTER

First time of ordering - extremely impressed! Restaurant quality food and very different from other Chinese takeaways. Reminded me of my first experience of Chinese food in Nottingham in the mid-1960s (on Arkwright Street).

Absolutely disgusting order every week always something missing.. had to wait this evening for food that was missing and they tried to charge us again. Shambles and will not be ordering again...

My go to Chinese, service is amazing and its so speedy.

This place is ok. It's not the best Chinese, but it's something nice when there's no other one's open. Kinda greasy, some portions aren't the best sized.

I love Red Hat. Fantastic curries great noodles, rice and good children's options. All at a reasonable price what's not to like!

prawn balls are big, fresh and good taste, curry mild and no onion in the curry.

Appalling service ordered food at 7.15pm an hour later still not arrived so phoned back to be told the driver left 10 mins ago with it 8.30pm it arrived lukewarm

Genuine family run business and the quality has never been anything less than 5 star since they opened. Always good service with fresh tasting, very generous portions.

My husband and I bought takeaway from Red Hat today for the very first time and we were quite impressed.The menu is extensive, the prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are generous, the food was both hot and tasty, the staff were friendly, and the food was ready reasonably quickly.We recently moved into the area and will definitely order from Red Hat again.

After moving to the area we struggled to find a good Chinese takeaway. Then we found red hat! Really tasty food, fast service and great menu. Would definitely recommend!

Este nuevo llevar era muy necesario en la zona y después de una larga espera ha abierto y la comida está muy bien hecha y sabrosa. El plato como entrante es tremenda y sin hacer una comida en su propio para muchas personas, hemos intentado 4 plato principal, y también son muy sabrosos y deliciosos. Hay una cocina abierta para que pueda ver está ocurriendo en el AHAT proviene de la cocina que parece impecable. El personal es amable y servicial.
