Very good proper Pakistani restaurant in Southampton

Food wasn't delivered. It was necessary to make a call to the establishment. The delivery time was 1 hour and 45 minutes at the end. The FREE chicken tikka main dish with an order over £30 was promised, but it was not delivered.

Delicious food, staff behaviour is also good, maintained hygiene.loved it.

The owner needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. Extremely rude

This is our usual eat-in/takeaway restaurant with amazing desi food for the last 3 years and the taste is very consistent. Matar Paneer here is unmatched compared to other desi restaurants in the city and the staff is very friendly to any sort of accommodation in your food. The timings of the place is also very convenient for working people with long office hours.

Recently visited along with family after hearing lots of positive feedback from others about the quality of food and sure thing their food, service and prices are great. Brunch/breakfast menu is super tasty.

The service was perfect the workers smiling and the food is 10/10 amazing, would recommend.

I visited Red Chili and Flame yesterday and found the food to be incredibly fresh. The biryani was particularly impressive, boasting a perfect balance of spices and exceptional flavor.

Sunday calls for a heavy breakfast! I finally found delicious Halwa Poori in Southampton at Red Chilli Flames. The price was great too – one set with tea for just £6. Woohoo, what else do you need? Enjoy a happy Sunday with a happy tummy! P.S Available only on Sat & Sunday between 11 am to 2 pm.

I wish I could give this place less than one star due to the poor customer service from the owner who runs the take way. The lady who takes orders is very kind, and the food is good too. However, the owner has no understanding of customer service, let alone good customer service. If you understand Urdu, you will be shocked by how he talks about your orders in the kitchen and his anger if you make a mistake or decide to add to your initial order. About the facility, overall it is good except the fact that the toilet door doesn't lock from inside.

This is my favourite authentic Pakistani food place to eat in Southampton. The quality of the food is outrageously good. I go every time I have the opportunity sometimes 2 times a month if not more. I love it here. Simply outstanding! Highly highly recommend!

Uncle makes the best nan in Southampton! They make rotis as well but only on certain times.. I love desi breakfast! Best puris and chana!! Authentic chicken haleem is my fav! Do try lamb biryani as well and thank me later.. if you crave for proper authentic pakistani desi breakfast, haleem or a lamb biryani do try this restaurant.. delivery takes upto an hour but if you dine in the services are nice and quick.. staff is really good and polite.. its its pocket friendly too :)

we were given a delivery time that changed twice and just as I was on the phone to the restaurant, the food arrived. tepid food, oil leaking from the Indian food. Well, I should use the words loosely as it didn't really resemble any indian food I've had before. Will never order again.

Absolutely spot on! Ordered a chicken tikka biriyani and veg samosas. Really tasty samosas, packed full of well spiced vegetables and crispy pastry. The biriyani was great - fragrant and fluffy rice with really well cooked chicken! Full recommend this spot!

One of the best desi authentic Pakistani foods in Southampton!

Had the chana masala with roti, probably the best chana I've ever had. My friend had saag paneer, said it was excellent also. The pricing is very reasonable, I was actually surprised when I went up to pay, was expecting it to cost more. The toilet was an absolute travesty so go at home before you come.

I ordered margarita pizza and they send me with chicken. When I called the restaurant the guy was so rude and said nowadays everybody eats chicken so we added chicken 🤷‍♀️. I ordered chicken handi which described in the menu on the bone but it was a boneless chicken with a lot of tomatoes 🤯. Not recommended and never going back 👎

Highly recommended, the desi nashta at £6 is reasonable, the portion was great. Also, the grilled tandoori chicken was delicious. The food was served late like around 45 minutes and the staff explained that as they also got a big order therefore the food was served late.

I have ordered from them on uber eats multiple times and I must say it is amazing. The quality is so good and it is very authentic Pakistani food. I usually order lamb biriyani with roti/paratha. The lamb biriyani is cooked to perfection and always arrives hot. The meat is cooked well and is so tender and juicy and the rice is well seasoned and has just the perfect amount of spice. Edit: Have to take my rating down from 5 stars to 3 unfortunately. The wait is absolutely ridiculous. I wait almost an hour every single time I order. The only time the service was actually quick was when a delivery driver came to give me the order. It shouldn't take long for biriyani. The food is good but the wait is not good.

Went there a few weeks ago with my friend. Been our 6th time eating here in the last few months, and loved it each and every time. The food is rich authentic Pakistani Punjabi food, as if dining in Lahore's finest restaurants! The samosa chaat is the best I've ever had from any place, it's a generous portion that fills 2 people's stomachs let alone one person. The restaurant offers a wide assortment of different salaans (curries) which often gives a headache on deciding what to choose! That's when you know the restaurant is quality for the variety it possesses. One of the best things about this place is that the value for money is one of the best out there in the South, it suits students to come here and have a curry for prices that they can afford, as compared to overpriced places elsewhere. The hospitality here is exceptional, and the staff are extremely welcoming and warm to receive their guests with great spirits. Jazakallah to all involved in this restaurant, may Allah bless you all and your families with great sawab and barakat, and inshallah duas that this business continues to flourish and reach even greater heights.

The food was very tasty and worth the price

I recently had a delightful dining experience at Red Chilli Flames. The staff, especially Qasim, went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Despite a previous issue, they not only apologised sincerely but also treated us with exceptional kindness. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. Qasim's outstanding service truly stood out, making our overall experience outstanding. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!

Had an amazing food in a reasonable price

Such a wonderful experience of food here. We tried their Platter for 2 which was awesome and delicious In taste. It was spicy and tasteful as we were expecting. Their chicken tikka biryani was also too good . Highly recommended

Really tasty and delicious food. In starter we tried there samosa chat which looks soo good in looking as well as very tasty to eat. Then we order their full chicken Kerahi which was also soo yummy. Must visiting place for good meal and friendly atmosphere.

I tried Achari gosht,chicken Biryani as a main which are so delicious and hot and in starter I had onion bhajis and some samosas which looks so fresh I highly rate there food quality which I think paid off my money which I spent there so I recommend to try for once atleast.

Honestly, amazing food, spectacular customer service, great atmosphere! 7 family members had a very filling meal in under £50 (also depends on how nuch you’re ordering). The naan are soft and delicious. All their meals (salan) are tasty. The desi chaye was hot and delicious as well!

Probably the most disgusting place I have ever been , food that seems to gone of . Though I do not expect much for prices the hygiene has a lot to be desired young kids working there they wipe hands on nose then serving food coughing every where no one seems to speak basic English the grill is never on so they serve microwave sheek kebab nothing seems fresh other than nans . "My first-time order from Red Chilli & Flames for delivery was incredibly disappointing. The delivery took over two hours to arrive, which was not only frustrating but also a significant delay. When I called them to inquire about the status, they repeatedly claimed it would arrive in 5 minutes, but it never did. I made multiple calls, and their excuses varied from being busy to blaming traffic, even though I live just 1 mile away from their location. When I checked on Google Maps, the roads were clear. I had to beg for my food, and the person on the phone was extremely rude. I pleaded with them, explaining how hungry I was, and requested them to send the food promptly, warning that I would leave a poor review if they didn't. Their response was shockingly dismissive. They said, "I don't care about your review; I'll get good reviews from other people." After waiting for more than two hours, the food finally arrived, but it was a mess. The bag was leaking, and the salad I ordered was missing entirely. The main dishes were excessively oily and incredibly spicy, to the point of being unbearable. The naan bread was burnt and inedible. This dining experience was, without a doubt, the worst I've ever had. I wouldn't even give it one star if there was an option to rate it lower. The overall quality of the food, the abysmal service, and the unprofessional attitude left me deeply dissatisfied. I strongly advise against ordering from Red Chilli & Flames. Save yourself the time, money, and disappointment."

I have placed the order at 19:15. Estimated delivery time shown between 20:30-20:50 but the food is delivered at 21:20 which took 2 hours since I ordered.

Was in today for a takeaway order had some samosa chat while we sat there the chaat was nice but the curries we ordered for takeaway was hideous nihari was totally something else at least ive not had such hideous nihari in a lifetime . £56 down the drain shocking how the foods quality dropped to 0 in a few months time was in here in july and the curries were amazing. I strongly recommend everyone who live in the Southampton & around the locations to come and have meal once. It's so reasonable and good quantity & quality food. Ordered on uber eats and the food never got delivered so we called the restaurant and the man that answered was horrible. He was so rude and shouted at me. He hung up the phone on me. He talked over me and didn't let me speak. He accused me of stealing the food even after I repeated that no one had delivered anything. Terrible customer service and I will never order from here again.

Chicken makhani was too oily on top when I opened it on Friday 25th August 2023. Even before opening it there was oil all over the lid. Never having it again. Worst restaurant ever. Chicken makhani doesn’t have oil on top when it has been made. So whoever is cooking it should learn how to make it properly.
