Place was empty I was new to area went in ordered 2 fish and chips They had screens up (covid screens) so went to pay with card rude lady just said “ain’t you got cash” Chips were under cooked and still hard but fish ok Won’t go back again

Awful, three of us on motorcycles stopped for something to eat, there are no benches outside, inside there are several chairs, both comfy and hard, they gave us the burgers and chips open and we sat down to eat them in the chairs as the only place available, the man behind the counter shouted “you can’t eat in here, outside” we went outside and eat our food standing up and had to carefully place the chis on our bikes as we weren’t going to eat on the floor. Food wasn’t great either, we won’t be returning or recommending it to anyone

I have been a customer for several years but after todays order they will never get there hands on my hard earned cash again!!! I Gave £8 for what was meant to be a large kebab only to get home to have been given or so I thought a small so I called to let them know of there mistake thinking it was a mix up only to be rudely told that was actually a large portion but they’ve cut the portion size in literal half and raised the price!! Disgusting during these times especially when every Penny helps plus the kebab itself was similar to slices of wafer thin ham and mainly grease even my dogs turned their noses up at it.

Excellent service and can honestly say, best fish and chip we've had in years! Arrived nice and hot, freshly cooked and not dripping in fat at all. Paper bags not plastic so travel well. Will definitely use again 🙂

Had the misfortune of opening some COD to find it full of grease and undercooked, the pasty batter had stuck to the paper as well as the roe. Upon asking for an exchange for better was told to “put up with it there’s nothing wrong with it” very ignorant customer service. Photo has been added for you to see what you get from this terrible take away. Also curry sauce is just brown tasteless water... Naan bread is the only nice edible thing here. Don’t expect much and you maybe ok and don’t complain

Ordered takeaway indian for the 1st time in a year from here.. was told it was under new ownership so thought maybe the food may have improved ...names itself as the best indian in takeley..its the only one there ...food was the most vile thing I have ever had the privilege of trying to eat. Popodoms cooked in last weeks chip fat even my dog didnt eat them. prices are so over the top for basically inedible food

I had a takeaway on Tuesday 29th September, my patner ordered his normal dish lamb tikka Madras and it was full of green pepper which is very unusual and the main point he's actually allergic to them, my mother in law drove past last night and popped in to say about what happened and that we couldn't eat it as the Bombay's, mushroom rice and also chicken tikka starter was full of green pepper also, the man she saw said that it definitely wasn't green pepper and must of been spring onions, she said she's know the difference then spoke to the chef and he confirmed he puts it in everything, she wasn't offered Amy kind of voucher or refund which I think is awfully poor due to the fact most of the £30 Indian was put in the bin, if you are going to add peppers to a Madras, rice Bombay's etc can you at least state it on the menu.

Just had delivery of my saturday night curry arrived early and piping hot great service and great meal. I order regulary and have never been disappointed.

They have no idea how to get the food out, so slow which is bad enough but the food is poor anyway. Went in for chips only last time and asked before ordering if I can have it straight away told yes and then after taking my money the guy who served me is sent away, next the boss who has heard my order says have you ordered? I say yes chips only now please, you need to sit down sir and wait! When I explain told No! Got my money back and called a Q Jumper. Please don't ever go in here

Very patient and kind staff (we just couldn’t decide with the array of tasty dishes on the menu). Delicious and refined Indian food full of flavour and fresh ingredients. The garlic naan is addictive!

Just ordered a butter chicken curry and it was a chicken korma with a thick layer or oil and grease floating on the top , the chicken was dry. Overall not worth the price and I feel robbed and disappointed

I ordered fish and chips was left standing at the counter while the man served half a dozen other customers before me , when I was finally served they were very rude and abrupt with me , I wasn't offered salt and vinegar , I had to ask? Good wasn't great lukewarm and tasteless

Had a big order for fish and chips from the F&C side of this takeaway house. Messed the order up a bit but it was a big order so no problem. All the order went down well and had decent portions of chips and all lovely and hot when we arrived home. Next time we will order an Indian meal from this establishment as it seemed popular.

Usually buy fish and chips to takeaways however on the past two occasions I’ve suffered a stomach upset having eaten there. Premise needs a good clean as it appears very unhygienic. I now go to Stanley’s on the priors green estate as they are cleaner.

Stopped here on way home having not eaten dinner. Wasn’t sure what to expect so ordered Chicken Tikka Korai, Mushroom Rice, Mushroom Bhaji and a Garlic Naan. Staff really pleasant and friendly. Everything was freshly cooked to order. Got home and dished up....absolutely gorgeous!! Still hot after a twenty minute drive, beautiful flavours and an absolute delight! Would definitely recommend this place and will buy from there again for sure!

Ordered for the first time from here today, great value, speedy delivery, curry arrived hot, will definitely be ordering from again. Great place!
