Very tasty food! I wasn’t told over the phone it was just cash payments though. Had to ride home then back. He let me off £5! Thanks red chilli

We ordered a take away between Christmas & NY , haven’t used you for ages. The food was excellent, ordered on -line, easy 👍🏻 Chicken Saag Balti 🥰 Will be ordering again soon

I am not to sure what or why the recipe has changed for chicken tikka korma or the mint sauce. It was extremely spicy and it’s meant to not spicy it’s meant to be mild. The mint sauce used to be yellow now it is orange with a kick. You guys have obviously changed your recipes and you shouldn’t have. My mouth was burning after the first few bites and so was my lips. I loved this place only Indian I’d go too. . I know this review means nothing to you guys but for someone who cannot take spice but loved your mild flavour's I’m done. Such a shame some things should be just left alone.

Rang up to order to find they wanted to charge more over the phone than they did through their own website, I asked them why it was more expensive ordering over the phone and was laughed at. I thought they’d appreciate a phone order more and paying cash! Obviously not! We used to use Red Chilli quite often.Your loss as I won’t use you ever again!

Having not used this takeaway i was apprehensive about it after reading some reviews needles to say after going we found the food to be very nice and the staff very helpful and will be using them again

Could not fault the staff, I ordered a lamb vindaloo but when I went to collect cash only. All surroundings ATMs not working so I managed to gather 6 pound and they let me take the food and pay fully later, which I did return and pay in full. The vindaloo was excellent

Last night we had 3 poppadoms chicken tikka jalfrazi rice chips and chapatti it was £22.50 which to me is eat in restaurant prices when we got home I have to say not very nice won't be going back.

Just had our first take away meal tonight and it was amazing 👏 my daughter who is not a big Indian foodie wolfed it down saying she's converted it was so tasty 😋 it's priced fairly, definitely will be going back again x

Food was hot and plenty of it ..however it's very bland "sorry just being honest" it's my second time ..and very disappointed in the lack of flavour 😞 make it more spicy guys

Small Indian takeaway. Staff were friendly, food was very good on the whole. Naan was probably one of the best we've had. Went for the garlic chilli chicken which was spicy! Not the cheapest compared to others we've been to, but I guess it was worth the extra.

Great indian takeaway in abergele. Cash only but the post office atm is nearby. Ordered in the takeaway as the website kept dropping off. Really busy, but only waited 15 minutes. Really tasty good quality food. Had the set menu, starters were great with lamb tikka balti and keema rice. Chicken tikka massala was really good also. Would visit again.

Hot and tasty food,big portions as usual . The staff are always friendly and smiling. Been ordering food from here since it first opened,never had a bad meal. Anyone slating red chilli probably moans about everything!!

Best curry house in the area. I've tried quite a few since I've moved here but this was so fresh and full of flavour. Won't go anywhere else now.

Ordered by phone for collection. Ordering very simple. Pay cash on collection. Onion bhaji was very oily with taste of old fat. Butter chicken didn't taste anything like butter chicken should. It has so much sugar in its all you could taste. Naan bread was soggy and parathas very oily. The raita was literally a cheap yoghurt in a dish with a few cucumber slices on top. Overall very disappointing and definitely not worth £65.

One of the best Tandoori takeaways I have been to. Lamb Madras the lamb was so lean and tender and sauce was delicious.Garlic rice was the nicest I have had. Also got Chicken tikka biryani wow was amazing .Chicken tikka was so succulent and tasty. The house curry that came with it was really nice also. The takeaway is spotless you can see the gentlemen cooking your food .Please try this place you will not be disappointed.

Wow visited here yesterday for first time 19/11/22 was that impressed went back day after.The place is really clean you can watch the lovely friendly gentlemen cook your food.We had lamb madras which was delicious. The lamb was so lean and succulent. With this we had garlic rice this was one of the best we have had.Also had chicken tikka biryani this was amazing the chicken tikka was so moist and tasty and plenty of it too.The house curry that comes with it was lovely. Probably one of the best tandoori takeaways we have had. Please visit this place you won't be disappointed.

We had a takeaway from here, chicken chilli masala with pilau rice, it was absolutely delicious, highly recommended. We would definitely use this restaurant again.

Good size portions very well cooked. Chicken tikka biryani and two large Onion bajis with yogurt MINT sauce.WITH SMALL SALAD GARNISH. Great little find whilst visiting the area. We would definitely recommend it 👌🏼😋TASTY !!!

Sadly disappointed, not sure what happened, watery curry which lacked other flavours other than chilli with the madras, starters very gristly meat. Other dishes ordered were also extremely watery

If you like onions then this is the place for you! Every dish we ordered was filled out with way too much onion. Felt like the restaurant was trying cut costs.

My son had a chicken korma but it was much too sweet!!

Chose to order from here after seeing the good reviews, I was really surprised when we got our order. Both curries extremely watery, more like a gravy than a sauce. The flavours where ok but texture was nothing like a curry, can't understand why such good reviews unless we for a bad batch.

Had a meal from here on Thursday went again at the weekend 10 out of 10 for the delicious food and excellent service will be visiting again very soon

Like alot of the reviews have mentioned this place produces a stock curry with one or two differing spices to make what they put on the menu Not the worst I've ever had and average is about as high as I would rate it.

5* 🙏 we have found a v good Indian takeaway we have tried majority in the area and this beats them all, very pleasant staff and food was delicious.

very very poor, chicken was terrible not fresh and you could taste it had been frozen with it’s weird texture and the sauce bled through the rice, basic stock gravy with little ingredients just really poor . These places just havnt got a clue and don’t even care

We visit the area regularly and certainly for the last few months getting a meal from Red Chilli has become a ‘bad weekend habit’ 👍🏻 The food is great I don’t like too spicy food but if I wanted it hotter just ask. The staff are very accommodating and I’ve felt safe during Covid collecting Well happy.

it’s exactly what i say… average.. a basic stock gravy with a few spices added if you want it hotter just another spoon of chilli powder. seems to be a big problem in north wales with either the ingredients or the “chefs”. I find it’s lack of effort that the “chefs just produce basic curry that you could make yourself” This place is better than most around here but the standard is so low in north wales that i can only rate it average

Best curry I've had in a long time, would highly recommend. You could tell it was made fresh with fresh ingredients and wasnt really salty like a lot of indian takeaways. Staff were polite and friendly. Wish we lived nearby as I would definitely be a regular if we did.

First time we've ordered a takeaway from here, it won't be the last, beautiful tasty quality food, king prawn pathia, king prawn jalfrezi, best king prawns we've had. Very reasonably priced.

Pre - ordered on line. Arrived on Time Food ready on arrival. When returning home no rice which I checked twice before payi g. I went back on line to double check and no rice on order. The Onion bajis tasted stale and dry. Curries ice Cold so was the Nann Bread. Not impressed won't be in a hurry to return.

Always get good service here and staff are polite, food is great too. The garlic and chilli chicken curry is very nice and has heat to it.

3pm we ordered our meal online for 7:30pm, We arrived 7:25 to a queue of 17 people outside! Some having waited a hour for their meal.The esablishment continued to take more and more orders, despite being in over their heads. 9pm we had our food! A whole hour and a half waiting outside in the cold. We asked for a partial refund or perhaps a free drink or side. Not wanting to walk off and not pay like many, or canceled a half prepared meal we persevered to support a local take away, in hindsight we should of canceled. The owner said he’d txt us with a 10% voucher code for next time. 10% off a meal that’ll only line their pockets again next time, and In all honesty there won’t be a next time.Giving such a poor amount of discount on a NEXT order is laughable, it’s no compensation in any shape or form. His greed tonight overtook his duty to offer a decent service, he should have turned down custom on the basis of capacity.On leaving, the owner said ‘It’s hot and fresh’ I’d bloody hope so! Unfortunately the food was below par and some items were no way fresh! We paid a lot for a service, the service was poor and our expectation of a refund for the failure wasn’t met.

I went to order my curry from red chillies I was stood at the counter when I heard the chef coughing his guts up all over the food with no mask on I shouted people have to eat that you know and he started waving his hand in the air right I didn't know what I was talking about I walked out to the place pretty disgusting knowing that he was coughing all over the food they should be made to wear masks are reported to the proper authorities

Have had several different meals from here and every time could not fault any one. Usually have a set meal for one plenty enough for 2 people. Have tried most Indian takeaways in the area this is the best by far

After so many years of being a regular customer, yet again, the quality of our chicken buena, which we always ask for to be slightly hotter, never fails,to be the most delicious meal. The chicken is always so tender and the taste from the beautiful mix of spices used makes every mouthful so enjoyable, absolute perfection. The plain naan is so soft and fresh, the popadoms are fresh and crisp and the chips are always cooked lovely too.Red chilli most definitely puts its quality of food and customer service at its utmost priority, giving nothing less than a lovely telephone manner when ordering, to a very warm welcome from all its staff at every visit on arrival of your collection, your never just an order number at red chilli, they pride themselves in all areas of their business, would recommend no other place to go, thank you once again for a very enjoyable meal this evening, you are all amazing, keep up your hard work. I never enjoy to write a bad review and it's so rare that it happens but this place disservices's all it get's.So put a big order in Wednesday 09/09/2020 and asked a simple question on the phone "head bitten off" how do I know I'm new, great way to talk to a customer?As for the food, I was ordering for four people and we decided to push the boat out and have the so called "Chef's Specials" four very different dishes but one thing in common #bland--bland--bland !!!To be honest at best I feel 100% ripped-off not a hint of spice in any dish and swimming in oil, just basically a small amount of cheap meat in Bisto, zero spice and zero kick, not to mention raw nan breads etc.If I was you I would feel so ashamed to serve this so called food and call myself a Bangladeshi Chef #Shame on youNever again

We are regulars at the Red Chilli and highly recommend the consistently high quality food these chefs serve. Service is always on time and the chefs are friendly and pleasant. They cook in an open kitchen and provide restaurant quality food at takeaway prices.

Had a take away from here whilst visiting Abergele, outstanding. Best curry and onion bhajis we've had, including where we live also. The staff were polite and friendly.

I’ve come from London to visit families, I was quite hungry and was asking around for takeaway recommendations. I was told about red chillies as I was quite reluctant so thought let’s try it out, it was the best taste of food in wales, Fresh and succulent amazing discovery. This place is a hidden gem top service and well worth a visit and the lamb sashlick is out of this world this is a 20 star place

🌱(Vegan-options) Nice Indian food. Takeaway only. Good prices, really friendly guys and a clean, open kitchen. Nowhere near as wonderful as it was a few years ago but still recommended, try the vegetable bhuna. Plenty of vegan options. Curries can be a bit oily.

Was recommended by a friend , order on line then collected. Starters, very light crisp poppadoms and mixed kebab very tasty and nicely cooked,mains lamb Bhuna and mixed special kori , keema rice chapati and nan bread , lots of meat in the dishes and sauce was excellent, as good as the curry mile in rusholme manchester. I will be going again and would definitely recommend .

Have been here a few times over the last couple of months, always brilliant. Naan breads are fresh, curries freshly made and tasty, meat is always tender. If you live locally and haven't tried here, you should definitely give it a go.

We started using Red chilli's a while ago when the old place we used wasn't as nice for several times. We tried Red Chilli's instead and it did not disappoint! Excellent food quality and decent size portions every time. Great customer service and always so busy which says a thousand words in itself. Despite being busy this never affects the quality of the food. The specials are beautiful! We usually have the meal for 2 and they are more than happy to change the options for a small cost.

We were originally going to get a Chinese takeaway, but everywhere was shut. So we decided to get an Indian instead, and it was the best decision I have ever made. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff were lovely, I ate everything with absolute satisfaction. I highly recommend ordering from here.

same as all the others very poor, chicken and chicken tikka seems to be very poor in north wales, it has a strange texture i guess it’s frozen then microwaved, definitely not fresh. had a chicken chaat starter just tasted salty, a curry that tasted like a naga which was slightly edible but had to leave the chicken, my mrs’s chicken tikka masala was very poor really watery absolutely no taste, within 5 mins of putting the curry on the rice you where left with this thin brown broth around the plate which soaked through the rice. if the chef knows anybody from a place called “ holdi” please ask them for there recipes, if they where around the north wales area all so called indian resteraunts like this and many others would close, complete waste of money and sorry won’t be returning. the poppadoms where good but there bought in!!

Just had our regular takeaway. Always good, but something special tonight.light crispy papadoums, soft tasty nan and classic Indian sauces. Well packaged with plenty of sauces and salad. NOTE takeaway only.

Went for a pint with the family over Christmas, and decided to get a menu and drop a large order in at the Red Chilli, to take home and save cooking. Order was very varied with vegetable and meat dishes, rices and nans.They said to give them 25 minutes, enough for another pint at the hoptomist, and it was ready when I got back.We all really enjoyed our meals, and will use the place again.

Had a takeaway while stopping at a caravan park close to Abergele, was good quality for the price, was out of season so don’t know what it is like if busy hence 4 stars

ive been coming here since it opened and whilst I wouldn’t consider myself a connoisseur of Indian cuisine I know what I like and I always have the Pasanda because I don’t like ‘heat’ in my food......so I was extremely disappointed to get home this evening to enjoy my food only to find that the Pasanda was ‘hot’ .....I’m guessing There’s a new chef? Well I won’t be coming back....ruined my meal and ruined my opinion of this otherwise consistent takeaway. I understand that Indian food is known for its spicy nature but If I order a fish that should be very mild I expect to get just that.

Onion bhajis are superb, we had red chilli special and it was just that , loved it. My husband had the chicken tikka jalfrezi and said it was the best ever. Rice and nans were perfect. Sag aloo to die for. All round excellent. Highly recommended
