A Family get together from the surrounding areas, to have a belated Christmas Lunch and Gift Swap. As always, Staff attentive from arriving to leaving. Food just as delicious, great portions and affordable priced.

Can’t fault red burn farm Hamilton great service from minute walk in till leave and the staff doesn’t annoy you by constantly coming over like other eating places

Myself and my sister visited to book for 18/19 people for the festive menu. We had to visit the restaurant to book as our calls were unanswered. We were advised by the assistant on duty that night that they would have to clarify booking with the manager and would let us know. A couple of weeks past and we had no notification so we visited again and was assured the booking had been accepted. On the night before our booking we visited and while in just double checked the booking only to be told there was no booking on the system. The booking was only then put on the system. When we arrived at the restaurant on 28/12/24 @ 5pm our tables weren't ready. We were like 4 separate families out for dinner. There was no table covers, crackers or even festive menus on the table. So all in all there was nothing festive about it. The orders were all taken at different times so they were all served at different times. A couple of people ordered tikka masala half and half. The curry was like soup it was so runny and the chicken didn't resemble anything like chicken, it was a very dark colour. The gluten free chicken wings with bbq sauce was also a let down as the sauce again was very runny and thin. Some of the meals were luke warm. We have all visited regularly together and separately without any issues. This is my 82 year old mums favourite place to eat when out and she was very disappointed at the issues we encountered. It definitely wasn't any of our best experience and I hope it doesn't put any of us off visiting again.

As long as you remember, it is similar to pub food then you won't be disappointed. Staff were good but the food was low quality and poorly done. I had poached eggs that I could have used as tennis balls.

We booked in here for Christmas Day Lunch / Dinner. The table was beautifully set, staff were very kind and enthusiastic and the food was delish! We even had a wee Personalised Bauble with our Surname on it and a Present for our Baby Girl too! Such a thoughtful touch. Thank You Redburn Farm!

Staff make you feel so welcome. Having neurodivergent family some can be overwhelmed or over stimulated and meltdown Staff are amazing dealing with these situations Food was lovely and selection ample too. Deserts belly burstingly fab 👌

We had a fab time, managers, waitresses and Chef were very attentive. As I am vegetarian, I wanted to have a non-meat alternative for my carvery. I explained to the waitress that I was interested in the cheese pie type product but I have a mustard seed allergy. She searched through her tablet and confirmed it had mustard. So, I had the carvery with just veg and two Yorkshire puddings and it was great. I always recommend this branch to family and friends due to the quality of food and excellent service.

Ordered 3 carvery’s and 1 came, waited nearly 2.5 hours absolute disgrace

I ordered carvery and cake, the cake arrived, carvery did not. I am being refunded for the cost of carvery but not the delivery and service charge which I wouldn't have brought if I had know I was only getting cake. If I reorder I will have to pay delivery fee and service charge again. Very poor service indeed. I tried phoning repeatedly but got no answer.

Recently had a lovely visit to the Red Burn Farm for lunch. Excellent service, very friendly and welcoming staff from the moment we walked through the door. The food was delicious too. Never had a bad experience here. Staff are very friendly, food is very good and very good portion sizes Edited as in the past year, the quality and service has gone downhill. Food is often overcooked and unpleasant. After being customers for years, we gave up and went elsewhere.

It’s alright! The general menu food has Iceland/Farmfoods vibes at times but it’s actually decent enough for the price. The carvery, though, is why I’d rather travel 10-15miles over to Robroyston as the carvery @ Red Burn Farm just doesn’t meet expectations. There is a serious lack of veg options and I always feel even though the portion sizes are great, it’s nothing more than bang average and leaves you feeling like going somewhere else would have been better. The staff though are always great! Never a problem. Never have to wait excessively and always efficient in dealing with your little requests such as sauces or tea spoons or stuff for the kids etc. The staff set the standard. The food can be improved. Easy to get to, free parking and they sell tasty big slabs of cake so not all doom & gloom.

Greeted at the door, so informative, all staff had smiles and time for the kids. We started a party of 7 which changed to 11. We were accommodated in all aspects. Food was great and hot. Staff let us sit a little while longer to catch up with distant family. Pricing was fantastic and the desserts where not only beautiful but huge, kids were mesmerised with them. We have just moved to the area and have already decided this will be our local eatery. Thank you to all.

Have enjoyed food from both the carvery and main menu. I found all staff really helpful and pleasant in their service and communication, which is refreshing. Great for families for when booking near the mini kids play area, keeps kids entertained.

Sloppy put together meal meat was terrible ham had more fat than meat not even half a slice roast beef and don’t no we’re the Turkey went to and no cauliflower cheese

Visiting my Daughter in Blantyre and went to the Red Burn Farm today to have breakfast with her, excellent service, Anya was particularly good, very friendly and gave great customer service 😊

The beef was bland and dry and tough and cold the Yorkshire pudding and cold and hard the gammon was pretty much fat and gristle the turkey was bland and dry and cold they need to do a better job and my order was missing a sticky toffee pudding and

Food was absolutely froozen and the Yorkshire puddings are like a brick, plus all my gravy was lumpy with bits off weird stuff in it, dont usually have a bad experience with use but this was awful.

The meal was freezing cold roast potato were brick hard

The food was fine but mostly made up of veg and potatoes with very small slice of beef and slice of chicken. We ordered extra pigs and blankets which never arrived as well as extra Yorkshire puddings we ordered 2 and only got 1. We also ordered two sticky toffee puddings with custards which weren’t delivered with the order .

Family friendly dining with the main attraction being a well stocked and fresh carvery counter. Lots of variety in terms of meats and sides. Great for families, with baby changing, play area and kids menus.

I write this following a visit to your restaurant on Sunday morning. I visited Red Burn Farm on Sunday morning with 3 of my family and it’s the worse £45 I’ve ever spent on breakfast. Firstly we were shown to our table and I purchased 4 x buffet breakfasts and drinks. I was given the tokens to take up to the Buffett (which I have always done) we went up and there was no food at the area as they had run out (fair enough) there were other people standing about (the restaurant wasn’t that busy at all at this time. The chef was blaring bigoted music from the kitchen for the whole restaurant to hear (I wasn’t offended by this but on the day of an old form game it’s highly inappropriate and could cause friction so made me uncomfortable) The girl behind the breakfast counter (I’m not 100% sure but I’m sure I heard another member of staff call her Gemma) I do no she was pregnant if that helps. Well she was the rudest person I have ever come across in a restaurant. On 3 occasions I asked her if she wanted my receipt to show I had paid for the buffet and she ignored me then said in a not very nice tone ‘put it in the bin’ to which I did. We waited for around 10-15 mins for a little food to arrive which I ended up just taking 3 items on my plate as I was hungry and thought I would go back when the rest came out. So I walked up to the counter to which the girl again watched me walking over there was food in the trays and she started lifting them away in front of me and took them away very aggressively. With no explanation whatsoever I find the customer service appalling and it has put me off ever coming back to the restaurant and have been a regular for many years. The service has went totally downhill in my eyes. I had to take my family for food elsewhere after this due to the lack of service in the restaurant And for information I did email the email address provided weeks ago and still haven’t received a response

Carvery is always amazing. Beef looked a bit dry on this occasion so I gave it a miss. Wish they did leek as an option.

Love coming to the Redburn. I am a regular visitor and am never let downnwith bith food and service Food is always lovely and well presented. Have also done the cavery at Xmas and the food and portion sizes were fantastic. The welcoming faces of Vicky and Mary make my day. They are always the most welcoming and chatty, They are knowledgeable about the food- advising about the new dishes and making sure I am well catered for. Well done guys

Still waiting for my refund from Sunday the 29th Sep. Poor meal was told I'd get a refund through the app which I ordered on while in the Sunday. Very poor mixed grill.. dry meat and everything was cold . . Disappointed. Rang the number on website and social media to speak to someone nobody picks the phone up.

I would have been better going and getting a ready meal. there was nothing about this meal that was nice. potatoes where hard gammon was just fat and dry beef . the meal was fit for the bin. I was very disappointed.

Ordered a 3 meat carvery and paid for pigs in blankets as an extra. Only got one meat - beef, far too much veg and potatoes and no pigs in blankets !! Looked like it was thrown into the box, and was cold !! Never again !!😖

The carvery box is an absolute disgrace. Paid extra for all three meats, two of which were disgusting. The beef was as tough as old boots and the Gammon was all fat. Shame this app doesn't allow pictures as I am not doing it justice. On top of this, we also ordered pigs in blankets and Yorkshire puddings which never turned up. Tried to call the restaurant on numerous occasions to rectify this but there was no answer. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Online order clearly equals no Fs given.

They cancelled my booking for a party of 9 & no one will email or call me back to explain. I received an email stating "sorry you didn't make it" my booking isn't until December. I have absolutely no idea what's going & with no communication I doubt I will. So far customer service has been shocking.

Regular here at the Redburn farm. Always find the staff, Vicky, Michael, Margaret and Sean very welcoming and accommodating. We have a few fussy eaters 🙈. The staff are always buzzing about ensuring customers needs are met and making sure the environment is a pleasant one. The food is lovely and the new menu is fab. Shout out for the new cauliflower wings and Yorkie wraps. A firm favourite.

1st time trying breakfast, buffet style. Was good variety and hot, some items better than others. Staff prepared toast for the table which was good as no queing at a self service. Staff were replacing food regularly. Vicky the waitress was lovely & very helpful.

Food was nice, no Yorkshire pudding and mar meat, would have enjoyed cake better if it was fresh cream. Was better presented than last time I bought this meal.

Seen loads of good reviews for this place and lots of friends saying how good it was so decided to try it for the carvery. Ordered two carveries and 2 cokes (£40) then went up to get the carvery to be told there was no gammon which was the only meat I eat at the carvery and should’ve been informed of this when ordering. I was then told I can change it to something else on the menu, I chose to have lasagne, informed they had no lasagne so opted for a cheese burger with onion rings on the side. This has to be the worst cheese burger I have had from a restaurant, horrible cheese single taste was overpowering the burger which was pretty tasteless which I was extremely disappointed with. Reheated chips and burnt onion rings. Had 3 onion rings and almost half the burger because I was hungry and hate food wastage but it was disgusting. We then let the server know this after we brought the plates back to them at the bar and just got “sorry I’ll let the kitchen know”. Then when walking out the door heard the same member of staff talking about it to someone else. Extremely disappointed after hearing such great things about this restaurant.

Service and attention from Callum was spot on. Food was great tried a couple of the new dishes. The Combo Burger and the Boo scoff cake. Definitely be back.

I felt that the meat portion was much less than you would get eating in the restaurant. Potatoes were very hard. Mash potatoes and veg was nice, the meat we did get was nice however, wouldn’t say it’s worth £10

Missing items with meal, payed for extras never hot them either, food was stone cold. Not worth the money very disappointed and felt very let down. Tasteless and 1 small slice of meat gammon was full of fat. Chicken wings were fatty. Never order again!!

Wow, firstly very friendly welcoming staff made us feel welcome. Secondly we had a wonderful tasty meal, which we all had a carvery a little dearer on Sunday's but we'll worth it. Thirdly what a very clean and lovely decor. We all had a great time will be back again. Fourthly very reasonable prices.

Ordering was straightforward. The restaurant was run down and the tap in the toilet nearly fell off in my hand. We ordered from the main menu and the carvery. There was nobody in the queue for the carvery; however, we stood waiting while staff kept walking by and nobody bothered to help. The food when finally received was overcooked, and the quality was poor. We didn't finish much of the food. This used to be a good wee place to eat but it's really gone to pot. The last few times have been bad but we had hoped giving space between visits would prove it had just been an off day. Unfortunately that's not the case so, we won't be returning.

Went back on 1st September was very disappointed with the carvery all the meat was like little tasters you just a taste of it and that was all mashed potatoes were lumpy and the roast potatoes were a bit on the burnt side very poor and the cakes very poor portion the éclairs are smaller and now have chocolate shavings with less sauce safe to say won't be hurrying back soon and I couldn't fault it before but now thumbs down 👎👎👎

Was in today and won't go back macaroni disgusting just stodgy complained and took it back staff member ok apologised. Order plate chips instead for them to come well over cooked. My daughter then went up to get her carvery to here small lady at carvery black hair the macaroni is good nothing wrong with it. My daughter just looked at her and she said everything ok and my dairy replied if your referring to the macaroni a sent back it certainly wasn't, to wish replied oh no I was talking about my own I make. I don't think so. Funny how the next table to us came in also sent back there two macaroni cheese. All in all won't go back or recommend to anybody either. Carvery wasn't great either

I had a lovely meal fish and chips and my hubby is vegan and had pie carrot ,May I add were very cold and chips.He was disappointed there were very few vegan options.

Was there today for a family birthday celebration. Had never been before, on the back of constant negative comments when it first opened. Food was nice, but could probably do with bigger portions regards veg etc. The desserts are big, but I would suggest they put the big cakes in a bowl instead of a side plate, U couldn't pour the cream over the sponge properly, because the plate was too shallow making the cake a bit dry. In all probably would return, perhaps try breakfast.

Booked a table today for breakfast to start off a family day for my little girls birthday. Arrived 10 minutes before our booking to overhear the couple in front being told no breakfast products left could have muffins or scrambled egg. Them was our turn the lady on the desk was embarrassed and went to speak to the manager because we had a booking and she came back and said manager said we would only be able to have what was left on the Buffet table and a lady who was a customer came over because she over heard and said there isn’t a thing on the buffet table. Absolute joke that the manager wasn’t on the desk explaining that they couldn’t even make food available for the customers with booking but was going to allow us to pay for nothing and letting a staff member take all the back lash. Absolutely shocking and need training on stock ordering and control! Also training on customer service!

Thought wee would try the breakfast buffet this morning, was awful hardly any choice as needed topped up and food was solid really disappointed.

This place was always great, easy 5 stars! now it's done a180 and the service, and food is shocking, The staff should find jobs they can do and like! Don't spoil it for others! :( visit : 20/8/24 6pm.

Pub grub. Carvery vegetables were all fresh and warm. We use the App to order our food so don't need to stand in a queue.

Ate from the Carvery on Friday 16/08/24 around 6pm and our experience was not good. The Yorkshire Puddings were the small cheap frozen type you get from the supermarket. They were also kind of squashed flat for some reason…? The roast potatoes were NOT…Definitely not like any roast potatoes I’ve seen before, hard to describe. Like over boiled soft potatoes with a brown stain on a small part- not crispy in any way. The boiled potatoes however were underdone to the point you could hardly cut through them let alone eat them. I could go on but I’ll leave it there. Suffice to say I don’t recommend the Carvery and wouldn’t eat here again.

This place has gone downhill. It feels rundown and in need of a good clean. The kids play area is embarrassing. We had fish and chips and hunters chicken. The food was hot but the portions weren't great. The hunters chicken was ridiculous. They say two chicken breasts but sadly it's not even the size of one chicken breast. The BBQ sauce was very watery too. Sadly I don't think we'll be back any time soon. Hopefully the place is due a refurbishment.

This is our second time here at Red Burn Farm, both times we found the quality, quantity and the price of the food to be excellent. We were served by Jemma on this occasion who provided us with excellent, warm and friendly service with a smile. We were celebrating our anniversary today, and we really want to thank Jemma for making our afternoon so pleasant and special for us

redburn farm food is normally superb but either the have changed chef or their standards have slipped a good bit.... the chicken in the smothered chicken was like 2 small fillets and the ham was not even a full slice but the box was filled with mostly veg. for the price I expect a proper size breast at least.. anyway there take away isn't the best and I hope eating in hasn't changed
