Okay, listen up, Watford! My Sunday just went from drab to dazzling thanks to 'Real Thai Kitchen @ The Dome Bar'. The food? Still dreaming about that perfect fried rice, the zesty Tom Yum Prawn, and those fiery chicken wings. And meeting Apple, the amazing owner, just made the whole experience even warmer. BUT THEN... the Thai real coconut ice cream with honey arrived. Seriously, it just melted away all my Sunday blues. Creamy, dreamy, and the honey drizzle was the perfect touch. This place is a full-on five-star experience, from the incredible food to the wonderful Apple and that blissful ice cream. Get yourself to The Dome Bar ASAP!

I searched on Google and found this little gem, I am so glad we went. The food was amazing. The staff were so warm a welcoming. Music was great too. Awesome evening would definitely recommend for authentic Thai food and we will definitely go again.

We used to live in Asia and have visited Thailand many times. This place really transported us back to South East Asia. The food quality and generous portions were all fabulous. We tried 4 different starters and mains and were all good. Definitely would recommend as the best Thai restaurant in the area

The prawns were juicy and noodles+chicken satay were good. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere quite nice and cosy.

Extremely delicious authentic Thai food. The resturaunt is set in a bar which is a bit of a shame, but it's separated off to the side. Fantastic service. Will be coming back!

Came to Real Thai Kitchen today for the first time and the food was authentic, plentiful and out of this world. Only empty plates left at the end of each course. Apple and the team were so attentive and ensured that we had a fantastic family meal. Already planning to come back! Definitely give it a try!

One of the best Thai restaurants in and around Watford. Will definitely come back for more. Also no problem for those who don’t like spicy as the kitchen will remove chillies and chilli oil if requested.

If you are wanting authentic Thai food in a relaxed unrushed environment with pleasant staff then this is the place to go. Could not fault the food it was fresh and perfect . 10 out of 10 Staff. Polite and friendly Literally a new discovery after being reccomended by a regular customer . The best memory of the night was being allowed to sit at our table and chat after we had finished and the staff bringing us a beautiful and very tasty battered banana and coconut ice cream with their compliments. Could only rate as five stars as that's googles max they deserve 10

First time visiting and pleasantly surprised! Having tried many Thai spots across London, this was my first local one in Watford - superb favourable and authentic food, good service, and a cozy, homey feel in a recently refurbished pub. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!

Thai restaurant that is located in a bar but in a nice corner to the side. Very lovely atmosphere in both bar and restaurant. Service was lovely and good was delicious would definitely come again and recommend! The masaman curry was 😘

Good service, friendly staff, good quality food

Had a pad krapow pork and was quite disappointed. I don't think they used any chillies or garlic which is a staple of this dish. Italian Basil instead of holy basil and little to no sauce. Don't understand how this has such good reviews - not very authentic in my eyes.

The best Thai outside of Thailand. Beef massaman is out of this world, big chunks of tender beef, crispy pork belly pad krapow is just delicious. My other favourites are the panang & Tom yum chicken wings. Apple is a wonderful host and the pub is clean and friendly.

Sorry no photos as we ate the food, but we had a Thai Green Curry, Chicken Wings, Dumplings and some sticky rice. The wings were nice and tender, a nice crumb with a crunch - the sweet chilli sauce worked well with them. The Dumplings whilst initially small looking were packed with flavour and just the right portion size as a starter. The Thai Green Curry was full of flavour which flirted with the boundaries of the Chilli’s taking the taste buds to the edge of hot but into an uncomfortable spicy heat. Very well balanced. Thoroughly recommend and will be back for takeaway and to dine in !

We have had a takeaway from here and my husband has eaten here the food is unreal the service is impeccable! Apple goes the extra mile too make sure to explain the dishes, it’s the best Thai we’ve had in the surrounding areas in fact we’re ordering again tonight!! Highly recommended Michael & Natalie

Very tasty veg spring rolls and sweetcorn cakes. Plus a stunning green curry. All of those cooked for a vegan diet. So I was told anyway. 😂.

Delicious food as always! Finally matched schedules to bring my friend who loves Thai food down and they really enjoyed their Pad Thai. (They were very happy I didn't oversell haha) The food looked and smelt so good that sadly we didn't get any pictures before digging in. I suppose our empty plates were as good of a recommendation too, however. Authentic Thai Food, Lovely restaurant/dining section with great decor with friendly and knowledgeable owner Apple who can help with any questions or recommendations. Thumbs up from me 😄👍

What a fabulous addition to Watford’s usually pretty boring restaurant scene. Fantastic Thai food, full of flavour, beautifully presented. Pub location is different, but so worth it for the food.

Traditional and original Thai food. Love it very much. Pleasure environment and nice staff. Look forward to Kao Ka Moo on the menu next time.
