Rce Go in County Durham

Joey at the reception desk was very kind and very thoughtful towards my wife who had an operation at the Wellington Hospital, joey made sure our room was comfortable, joey is a credit to the company. All the best joey, Kind regards Eileen and Gregory Denega.

We had a takeaway here last Saturday, we ordered, chicken chow mein,beef curry and chips. The Portions were very small and the quality was a let down !!! The service from the little boy is polite and well mannered. Sadly we will not be returning.

Visited here for the first time because my favourite Chinese takeaway in Barnard Castle was closed Mondays. We won't be going again! We got home and dished out our food. We are both vegetarian but one of the orders had chicken in it despite ordering a veg curry. We phoned the takeaway to ask if they could redo the curry and rice because it was wrong (we had poured the curry over the rice before realising there was chicken in it). They said yes as long as we pay again. They said they repeated the order back twice so it was our mistake so no refund or replacement. The order was taken by a very young boy who was possibly the owners son. The meal that was correct was awful anyway and I ended up throwing it away. The portions were tiny compared to other takeaways and didn't really taste of anything much. The chips were hard and overcooked and the satay was very watery. Terrible food,poor portion sizes and awful customer service. Definitely won't be back and won't be recommending to anyone.

Lovely little boy (owners son I assume) that served us who was so polite and friendly but unfortunately the food let the take away down. Portions are small, would rather pay a bit more for a better portion! I have never been to a Chinese which provides a skimpy portion….Some of the food tasted ok but definitely had better, we ordered noodles which had too much soy sauce on to the point where they were swimming in the liquid, salt and pepper chicken which came with 4/5 bits of chicken, 3 slices of onion, 3 carrot slices and 3 slices of pepper which just isn’t very good. Noodles came in a tub which was half full and spring rolls very over cooked. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be back unless things change.
