Never seen curry sauce this colour, rank! Wouldn't order again.

Brilliant food i have tried just about everything on the menu, over the years portions are very adequate, and filling, more like 2 servings, delivery driver was very charming

Beautiful food all cooked fresh which is rare with a chinese, I've never found I chinese were I like the chicken untill I tried this place I've tried various dishes and will continue to try more 100% recommend.

Customer service was great, food was lovely and fresh. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Terrible. Is a shame because it used to be a great reliable Chinese. Only went here this time because we fancied seaweed and the Golden Gate doesnt do this. We felt the last time we went here, a couple of years ago, the prices had shot up and portion sizes had been drastically reduced. Was told it would be 45 mins, so i paid and waited in my van. When I went to collect, was told there was no seaweed. I told them i already paid and they felt the need to check my word about this which annoyed me. When i got it home, (only 10min drive) there was barely enough sweet and sour sauce to cover the meat and it was luke warm. Not very often you still feel hungry after a chinese. Extremely disappointing. Will use the Golden Gate in future where its much better value, food and service.

Disgraceful customer service. When I got home and unpacked the food I bought at this takeaway, I found that they had sent 2 wrong main dishes. I telephoned and they argued that I had it wrong, but then said I could take them back for an exchange. Another 45 minute round trip. I said that I wanted all items exchanging as the other food would be spoilt by the time I got back home again. They refused! Subsequently food was thrown away. I will never use this place again and would not recommend.

Whilst visiting Barnard Castle for a few days caravaning we decided to try this local takeaway. We weren’t disappointed, excellent service, picked up within half an hour of ordering. Food was lovely, tasty (not greasy like some can be)! Highly recommend!!

Over priced for what it is…very salty food to taste, not very warm either on collection.

Two of us had curry’s both were tasteless and bland I wouldn’t recommend this place Also found it expensive as had to pay for everything separately

Absolutely disgusting never going back

The person on the phone is either disabled or needs a big lesson in customer service, I cancelled the order half way through because of the way she spoke to me. Was going to order around £40 worth of food as well, I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Food very tasty , portion size tiny smallest bag of chips I've ever seen , chicken curry was lovely but yet again a tiny portion didn't even half fill the small tub it came in , the rest was just has bad ,payed £21.30 for absolutely nothing would not recommend at all unless you have money to burn and like tiny portions

Really, really delicious food. By far the best Chinese food we’ve had since we moved to the North East. Perfect portion sizes. Try the chicken wings with extra spicy Peking sauce. You can go spicier by request, too. I’d happily grab takeaway from here every day. Enjoy!

We visited recently for the first time after reading reviews thought we would give it a try, food was ok but very gravy based and both dishes tasted and looked very similar. We paid separately for rice and chips which made it expensive which are most often included, no free prawn crackers will give this one a miss in future

I have struggled for two years to find a Chinese like the one in my home town since moving away, but finally I found it! In fact, the food is even better than the my old regular, superb takeaway. Tasty chicken, curry sauce has the perfect amount of spice to it, the rice is succulent not dry like other places. I love it.

Discovered this little gem fairly recently and have been going every week since. The food is delicious and even after a 20 minute drive home, it's still yummy. The family are friendly and the little lad who helps out is so polite and helpful. I'm so glad to have finally found a decent Chinese takeaway near me.

Ordered a takeaway from Rce Go whilst staying at a nearby cottage. The young man who took the phone order was very helpful and also very pleasant when I collected the food. Arrived to pick the food up, noticed the 5 star hygiene rating in the window. We had spring rolls, vermicelli, salt n pepper chicken. The food was all very good. Would definitely go again next time I am in the area.

I stumbled across this little gem whilst transiting through Barnard Castle. The food is fantastic and I can't recommend this place highly enough!!! If you phone your order in advance it will be ready when you arrive to collect and piping hot. The staff are outstanding and a warm welcome is always waiting for their customers. There is a similar takeaway nearby, the staff at that place could learn a thing or two from Rċe Go about customer service!! Give this place a try you won't be disappointed!!
