This is a quite relaxing place tucked away in the City of London. I am somewhat of a coffee connoisseur & these guys make a mean authentic cappuccino. Had a panini milanese, tasted like Italy!

Down a small alley off Moorgate street.. Great coffee, well presented, comfortable and 1st class WiFi As it’s off the beaten track (only a few yards off) it does not get too packed so ideal to sit and catch up on some emails. Great choice of pastries and the lunch menu also good. Much nicer coffee than the “chains” nearby

I have started to walk past this cafe on the way to my new office in Tower 42. It's in a tiny passageway off Moorgate - the sort of alley that reminds you that much of the street pattern in central London is unchanged from the Middle Ages. The only time I have visited was hours after a serious visit to the dentist, so the day's tomato soup was just what I needed. There is plenty of choice of other foods. I'll visit again soon and report back.

The food here is very good. Fresh and healthy. You can build your own salads etc or choose one of the specials they have. I have had the beef bourguignon a few times and it is delicious

I stumbled upon this place whilst wandering around the City looking for some new lunch inspiration. I had Red Thai curry, and also succumbed to a home-made custard tart, which was practically begging me to buy it whilst at the counter paying for my food. The red thai curry was really tasty, but the custard tart...oh my, to die for. (But don't tell anyone, or there'll be none left when I go back later). The system in here is a bit out of the norm, but seemed to work quite well. You order at one counter and are handed a ticket which you then take to the till where you pay and are handed your food. It wasn't busy when I was in there so it will be interesting to see how well this works at peak lunchtime. I also noticed how good the coffee looked and smelled, so I'll definitely be back to sample the espresso. It's not a cheap option, but not the most expensive in the area either. It tasted yummy so that represents good value in by book.

Surprise wedding anniversary lunch in this wonderful setting with our three daughters. A brilliant experience from the moment we stepped out of the lift. All the staff, (including the ones in the kitchen that we didn’t meet) worked together expertly but unobtrusively to provide a wonderful golden experience. The tasting menu was a journey to savour; it would be hard to single out any single item, though the fish tea, the sweet potato milk bread rolls, the asparagus mimosa, the jerk salmon ceviche and the roasted scallop were all stunning variations of sometimes familiar ingredients and a memorable curtain raiser to the peppered lamb. The pre-dessert rhubarb and basil lolly provided a theatrical finale which far exceeded its humble sounding name. A capital experience not to be missed.

¡Gracias!
