Fantastic 4th birthday party for my daughter! Highly recommend. Lovely space, not too big, but plenty to entertain little ones. The entertainment - music activities- was great, everyone had a wonderful time ! Kind of wish we could do every birthday here!

Great place for an under 5 birthday party. Good outdoor area with new equipment and different indoor spaces including a sensory room. Activities for the children were well organised and fun. None of the children wanted to go home at the end of the party!

Had my son’s 3rd birthday party here today and can’t speak highly enough of the venue and staff. Great varied space for a party with a huge range of toys. The staff led a singing/dancing session which went down so well and gave parents a chance to have a drink and some cake. The party food was freshly prepared and great quality. The party ran so smoothly, I’m really pleased I picked this venue and would definitely recommend it. Thanks for a great party!

Had a lovely birthday party for my niece at rattle and roll and could not ask for a better experience. Lots of space and toys for all children to enjoy, an amazing sensory room and lovely staff. We had some lovely party food provided too and a great party time led by staff. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely cakes too. My niece visits regularly in the week and is always welcomed, recognised and has an amazing time.

Rattle and Roll hosted my daughters birthday party and everyone really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and kind, helpful staff. The food was perfect. There is a great range of toys to play with. The sensory room is by far the best in Sheffield. My eldest daughter has many additional needs and this place is so accessible for her. She could join in with the party and her friends. It is very very clean. The outdoor play area is ideal- a safe enclosed space secured by two locked gates. It has a shaded area but also gets lots of 🌞sunshine! I cannot recommend this place enough! There is a delicious range of homemade cakes and desserts.

I had my sons 1st birthday party at this venue and I would like to highly recommend it to everyone. It was very well organised and the staff there were very friendly. You feel comfortable in the space letting the children roam with it been private and enclosed. There was lots for the children to do which made the time seem to go super fast. The cakes and coffee were also lovely. It was overall a great day.

Just back from our second class since they reopened and can honestly say it's becoming the highlight of our week! It's clear so much thought has gone into how to apply the new covid rules in a way that still allows pre schoolers to learn and play. The classes are well paced with lots of variety, and the cake in the cafe afterwards is always delicious. I can only imagine the care and thought that has gone into reopening, and with no other playgroups currently up and running, I am very grateful!

Went back today after they've been closed for covid. First toddler group I've been to for 6 months so it was nice to feel a bit back to normal. Was a bit different as they've got a one way system and you can only stay for 45 mins after the class to keep numbers down. Enough time to have lunch though as they were organised at taking orders straight after the class. All covid secure with your own tub of toys for the class, that gets cleaned between each group. They still have a small food menu and cakes. It's all been changed around and redecorated so they are now using the bigger room for classes to spread out. You have to book a class on the website and the entrance is now at the back and you leave from the front. You can book one off classes at the moment so you don't have to commit to half a term, which is handy now when covid restrictions are changing all the time. Glad this small business has weathered the storm.

I've been to this cafe lots of times with several different friends. All have enjoyed their time there. 2 separate rooms for babies and older kids and then a separate area for the cafe. You have to drink your hot drinks at your table, so it's safe for the crawling kids in the sensory room. The classes are value for money as you can then stay and play after. They have better food than soft play places. No chicken nuggets. I have had a lovely halloumi and avocado salad that is gorgeous even though I am not a salad person at all. The staff have always been friendly and polite. I do hope that after this lockdown you manage to get through it and open again. I'll be very much wanting to get out once we are allowed again! It's a nicer atmosphere for younger children than a soft play. Plenty of sensory toys to play with. Good luck during this crazy time. Hopefully be back soon.

I visited here after my partner tagged me in an ad on fb. Me and my boys, my friend and her son absolutely loved it and visited again exactly a week later. It’s now my go to play space with my boys and I tell all my friends. The sensory room my boys love! The food is fantastic, lots of healthy choices, the children’s meals are great with everything on there that kids love, the classes I’m yet to attend but look great. Honestly can’t fault the place, odd location yes, but if you look past that you’ve found a diamond in the rough. The other mums and dads I’ve met are all lovely and chatty. All in all it’s a 10/10 from me.

Myself and the family (x1 under 12 months & x1 3 years old) visited a few weeks back now and I’m still rattled from what I over heard....it was our first visit and as it was a fairly new establishment we had great expectations. After 20 mins of trying to find somewhere to park we finally got inside. Let me point out that before getting inside you have to venture through what felt like someone else’s garden so we were already feeling unwelcome. Upon first impressions we were very impressed with the decor, it being very bright and airy with what i first thought were lots of activities and items to play with. NOT the case. I felt like should it have being raining outside my 3 year old would have quickly become bored. These a ‘sensory room’ in the back where my little one nearly got her fingers tripped in the door. I couldn’t sit down and enjoy a cuppa due to the fear of my child hurting himself on the swing outside which although was secured to the ground was still lifting which put me right on edge. I was ordered to remove my shoes upon entering he Cafe. Why, I can’t only imagine the staff don’t what to clean the floor. I also noticed that the staff which were cooking behind the counter also had no shoes on!!!!! I think one person had crocks on whilst handling hot water and cooking, chopping etc. You could tell that the staff hadn’t been working together long as there were no chemistry between them (understandable due to it being a new business) which leads me onto the reason for me leaving this review.....the ADULT gentleman who was working behind the counter was speaking to the others in a way that no staff member should speak ESPECIALLY in front of customers and young children. I heard the ‘F’ word at least 6 times whilst he was attempting to instruct the others on how the create (I think) an avocado and halloumi salad. The place is for me overpriced for what it is. The drinks, the food, the cakes, the entry. Everything. Some people will be fine with this and the place will have its own little NICHE following however me and my family will not be visiting again. There are Play cafes in Rotherham and Barnsley which are competitively priced and where you can enjoy a cuppa and a full meal without having to worry are char your children round.

As others have said, great idea but poor execution. - high chairs and tables are incompatible, all 3 of the under 1s we took were able to tip their high chairs because the legs of the tables were right in front of them. - play space for kids in cafe area next to hot drinks is a terrible idea. - no safety boxes on plug sockets with exploring little ones around. - wires hanging from equipment such as bubble light - equipment not secured to the wall, as my little one discovered when a mirror fell on him whilst he was cruising. If it's not a wall fixture don't prop it up against the wall! - food everywhere and all over the floor, 4 members of staff on but food all over- food allergy cross contamination nightmare! - £4 for under one's is a joke. Most places under ones are free or heavily discounted. - owner is very unprofessional and I look forward to liking her post about this review on Facebook.

Visited last week to do a class with my 8 month old. He really loves the class and I felt it was good value for money, especially as I got a free coffee afterwards. The length of class was perfect for my baby as it didn't overwhelm him and he was still awake enough to play after. The coffee was good and I bought a piece of cake which was really tasty too. The staff were friendly and so were the other customers. After class we played in the sensory room where my baby enjoyed playing with the toys. There was a good outdoor space but was raining when I visited so I didn't use. I liked the fact there was a pram shelter outside. It was close to Abbeydale rd so good transport links.

We’ve been twice now to the play cafe - I have a 7 month old and a 3.5 year old - to meet friends and we’ve had a fab time on both occasions. It’s worth doing a class as the £9.75 (for 2 siblings) includes entry (usually £6) and was well structured and good fun with singing, bubbles and parachute games. It’s best on a sunny day so you can make use of the outdoor garden with a fun pirate ship, sand pit, net swing, cars etc. We were so pleased to find a play space with healthy food options like salads, Buddha bowls and pittas (alongside more indulgent and simply delicious cakes too!) It can get busy at peak times (we were there Friday midday), as you’d expect, but there’s plenty of seating, tables, floorspace and different rooms to spill out into. I take my hat off to the wonderful Mum who opened this cafe with all of us young families in mind - it’s just what we have all been hoping for! Thank you!

He estado en Coffika varias veces durante los últimos meses, tanto para comer como para beber con amigos. Siempre ocupado, buen servicio y buena comida y bebidas. Es fácil ver por qué es tan popular.

We had just arrived in Sheffield and needed a coffee. We were pleased we found this popular café which is located within Sheffield Cathedral. It is necessary to order with your table number at the counter and pay at the till. The coffee is delivered to the table. We enjoyed two good quality flat whites which cost £6.80. Thankfully there is also a toilet located in the café which was very appreciated after a long drive 😊.

I go to Fika every Saturday lunchtime. There is a reason for that. No matter what food I order it is always fantastic. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a wonderful little place, with a great atmosphere. Well done to all involved. See you next Saturday!!

Gran café, dos empleados fantásticos que son muy amables y nos cuidan. Asistimos a una reunión de negocios todas las semanas. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar de elección. Esta área ha necesitado un buen café durante años y este es excelente.

Been meaning to call here for a long time while at the Northern General Hospital but managed it. It's very good, friendly staff and warm welcome. The menu is cafe style sandwiches, panini, etc. The food and drinks were very good hot and tasty. Really enjoyed it.
