Love this place! The food is to die for and the place is just lovely. staff all friendly and polite. Not bad prices either.

Service was excellent and the location is great for a family meal. Overall the food was great enjoyable. Let down by expensive pricing compared to other restaurants. We ordered less rice due to the pricing of the dishes.

Nice decco & vibes. Service was just okay, very slow though. Food is a let down, I don't get what the hype is about. Doesn't taste authentic, and may even be watered-down curry? You guys that enjoy the food here thinking it's good Indian food, are really missing out lol.

Urgent Food Safety Concern: Foreign Object Found in Order

Unfortunately very average. Arrived at 7.30pm (22/11/24) and shown to our table. Order taken but staff seemed very indifferent. Poppadoms and chutnies arrived quickly but mains took over 1 hour and during that time no staff members came near to take drink orders etc. Food was excellent but again we were just left alone. Couldn't be bothered waiting to order desserts and even when we asked for the bill it took 15 minutes. Pity as the food was great if on the expensive side which wouldn't be an issue if the service had matched the food.

Very expensive for the amount of food given , was expecting larger portion for cost.personally feel basic rice option should be included with curry that cost £12.99 .

This restaurant took £45 out of my partners account for items to be the delivered. They never arrived we called the restaurant they said not their problem as their drivers didn’t do the delivery. No food £45 down and not happy

Chips cold, chxiken in curry was lukewarm

My friends and I dined here this week and from the moment we entered till we left, service was outstanding. The ambiance, decor and menu does not disappoint and you’re well looked after. Three of us were given a table with booth style upright seats in the centre of the restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and the themed Indian fusion has traditional authentic dishes and a few that were new to me. The Desi lamb for example, I’d never heard of. Lamb slow cooked in homemade garam masala sauce. This is had to try along with mushroom rice. My starter was the delicious samosa chat. Crunchy Punjabi samosa served with channa masala topped with chutneys, bujia and pomegranate. We had the mandatory poppadoms with chutney, mint sauce, spiced tomato and mango dips. My friends had the onion bhaji and tikka jingha, (king prawns, marinated coated with a mix of black and white sesame seeds) Mains were chicken pathia ( tangy and spicy tomato sauce) and murgh malai methi (chicken cooked with fenugreek and mixed spices, a creamy and flavourful dish) both opted for pilau rice. All meals were tasty, delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were plentiful and served in adequate time. What really impressed me besides everything else was the shared bread selection. This was an assortment of warm naan, roti and garlic butter wrapped naans. Melt in your mouth delicious tasting and we cleared the plate! Drinks were non alcoholic lagers and soft drinks as we all unfortunately were driving. A shame as the cocktail menu looked great. Our servers were courteous, attentive, well presented and very professional. Deserts were raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake and the Magnum brownie. All excellent, we tipped generously to show our gratitude.

Booked our table for 7 o’clock . We arrived a little earlier than expected. We were told our table wasn’t ready and told to wait in a holding area . The table was ready at 7.30 !! At no time were we kept updated. We had to keep asking . When we were eventually shown to our table , things seemed to get worse . We ordered our food . The starters arrived , then there was an hours delay before the main’s arrived and that was because we had to chase a member of staff , who turned around and said oh are you ready? Two members of our party sent their food back because it was lukewarm !!! And my chops were cremated !!! It seemed like the staff had an attitude and just couldn’t be bothered. NOT A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE !! On this experience, i wouldn’t recommend you at all .

Warm vibrant atmosphere with polite attentive service. The food was delicious and the portion size just right. We booked very last minute on a Friday and they accommodated 6 of us. I would definitely recommend Rasoi Waterfront and hope to return soon.

Lovely place, great atmosphere BUT the food is mediocre at best. They appear to struggle, service wise, on a busy Saturday evening.

i had a wonderful evening with my family at Rasoi Waterfront in Swansea for my 55th birthday. The food was outstanding! Alongside the traditional Indian dishes, the menu offered many unique options that I hadn't tried before—like the amazing lamb baos and tikka loaded fries, which were a real highlight. The staff were fantastic, providing excellent service and making the evening even more special by surprising me with a piece of cake and a candle for my birthday. A truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Excellent authentic delicious Indian cuisine ,superb service 10 out of 10 ! I would recommend to book well in advance to avoid disappointment as it was packed out. My stay was around 2 hours and unlike other restaurants we weren't hurried up to finish and leave . A great night out in a great location .

When 6 of us arrived, we were asked if it was a 'special occasion'. One of our party had a birthday. We had our meals and drinks etc, and as stated in other reviews, the service was quite slow. We didn't ask for anything regarding the birthday, but at the end of the meal they served a portion of cheesecake to the person whose birthday it was. We thought this was a nice gesture, and is often done as a gesture, on the house, in some places. When our bill arrived we were charged £3 for the cheesecake. As it was not asked for we found it very rude to charge for something we did not order. It really dampened the atmosphere of what had otherwise been a pleasant evening.

Absolutely amazing food. Amazing service will be back soon. Even though we live in merthyr. If I could give you more than a 5 i definitely would. Black dhal was amazing I make dhal but does not taste like yours. Can't recommend you enough.

I have tried biriyani in many indian restaurants in Swansea, but Rasoi took first place for lamb biriyani. Decent taste. Served very hot 😊.

It's a shame I can't give a better rating. As a lover and self proclaimed connoisseur of Indian food, Rasoi has all the makings of a fine establishment, however... Staff need better training. On multiple occasions simple questions RE dishes have had to be relayed by the serving staff to the chefs as the staff are unsure on menu items. Curries have been wrongly served to guests.. again, it's the servers job to get these things right. Also had a bad experience with there weekend lunch offer once. Nowhere does it state that they close the kitchen for 2 hours at 3pm. Our booking was for 2.45, so 5 minutes after sitting down we were told we MUST order now before the chefs finish for their break. They shouldn't accept bookings at these times if their going to proceed to rush customers. The menu for the lunch menu is also confusing and easily misconstrued leading to a more expensive bill. This all being said. The curries are fine. The breads are nice and fresh, chutney trays are good too. Portions are a little low, but that's pretty normal these days for dine in upmarket Indian restaurants. I would say it's worth a visit for a nicer occasion as the restaurant is nice. Just bare in mind the service issues that can occur.

Cold really awful chips. Chicken tikka wrap felt like something for £3.50 from Greggs not for £10 had about 3 tiny bits of overly spicy chicken. Even the peshwari naan was just passible. Very strange as im sure ive been there before in the restaurant at night and had a nice meal. Wont be ordering again. Bit if a joke.

Absolutely wonderful, we came in for our 3 year anniversary and Shraddha was a great host and even brought us celebratory fizz!

Excellent location, great food and wonderful service. All the dishes were in small portions but delicious. Very authentic. The atmosphere was relaxed even though the restaurant was fully booked. The decor is stylish. I would recommend booking a table in advance.

Incredible food and even better on take out , save 20% on food when we picked it up ourselves. Food is always great quality and flavours are the best we've had. Highly recommend the dishes with lamb in them.

Food was amazing tasting, but portions were really really poor. Chicken Tikka Shashlik - 6 pieces chicken with 5 slices of pepper. Nan bread was small & thin. Will buy again but will budget for an extra £10 on sides to make a meal.

Lovely atmosphere. and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Vindaloo was explosive with spice and flavour and the staff were very welcoming.

My friends and I had lunch there yesterday. It was an utter waste of time and money. First, the quality of the food was actually good, but the quantities were very, very low for the price. They took almost 2 hours to serve the food. My friend and I ordered two mojitos after the mains. The menu stated that the ingredients were strawberry, passionfruit, lemon, and mint. These guys gave us the mojito made only with two slices of lime and a lot of mint. I didn't see any strawberries or passionfruit in it, yet they charged the same price. I was very disappointed.

Over an hour wait for food. Over half hour wait for drinks. Waiter with the box cut hair style, his attitude was terrible. Had high expectations but service was poor and Food not that tasty. Good for a drink up. Wine menu was bigger than the food menu lol sorry guys I had to be honest. Beautiful restaurant though. Honesty is best policy.

One of the best Indian spots in swansea. The biryani is amazing paired with some yogurts and their butter chicken is perfectly balanced and not too creamy. Their samosa chaat is a must have.

The curry was absolutely amazing and the best onion bhaji I've ever tasted. We went for a birthday meal and the food was amazing. I really wanted to leave a 5 star review but the service here is very slow. It took them 5 minutes just to pour my pepsi and when we finished we had to ask 3 time for the bill.

Ordered on Deliveroo quite a lot of food, close to closing so I half expected the restaurant to decline the order. But they didn't. It was the best curry I've had in ages! So rich and creamy and lots of meat too! My new favourite 😀

Not something I would normally do but sadly have to leave this review. We ate here this evening as a fathers day surprise meal, and it was a letdown. We had a reservation but still waited 15 minutes to be seated, even though the place was only half full. Once we sat down, we had to flag someone down to order drinks and food. It took 30 minutes to get our starters, and when they arrived, we realised we didn’t even have forks and had to ask for them. Waiting for the mains was even worse—another 35 minutes and we even had to ask staff to take our starters plates away. We had to ask the staff where our food was. Thankfully, our two-year-old was patient, but it’s unrealistic to expect a toddler to wait over an hour and a half for food. Other diners looked just as unhappy as we were. When I spoke to the front of the house, he apologised but blamed it on being busy. That excuse fell flat since they were still taking walk-ins. Other diners I talked to had the same complaints. For the prices they charge, you’d expect much better service and food quality. Even up to when we had finished our food not one person working there had asked how everything was if we wanted anything. We won’t be going back.

Hands down the best Indian food in Swansea. Staff are lovely and accommodating, good is mind-blowingly amazing and the atmosphere is so lovely. We've sat inside in the past, but more recently, we sat on the patio with patio heaters and we definitely weren't forgotten about out there. Staff would regularly check in to see if we needed drinks or anything else. Thanks so much Rasoi! See you again soon.

Had evening meal, starter and main. It was sooo god and the decor and staff are wonderful. Definitely recommend.

3rd time visiting. 5 and a baby. Again a brilliant experience. Our guests were blown away and definitely want to come again next time they visit from up North.

Great place. Inside is very comfortable cocktails looked great. Good was fresh and tasty, chat poppers were cold, which was unpleasant but that was the only negative and personAl preference.

The place is very nice and looked quite upscale. The food is average. The food seemed well decorated and well presented and we had huge expectations from it. But it came out a bit disappointing. Especially the Kali dal was undercooked and roomali seemed very different from what it should be. It seemed like a flat bread. The pilau rice, chicken tikka shashlik and shahi paneer were good. Another aspect was that the wait was huge. We had to wait for 45 mins for food after ordering.

This was a bunch of lads looking to get a late meal on a Sunday night one hour before closing. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Food was beautifully prepared and tasty. No negative at all. Only best wishes to the staff and cooks for a great dining experience.

Food arrived cold , onion bhaji were greasy and soggy madras tasted mostly of garlic and nothing else , made many attempts to contact but they only seem to like comments on Facebook and don’t reply to emails don’t waste your money

Food cane early but was cold. Chicken was tough and the sauce for the butter chicken was awful. Tasted like peppery cheap tomato soup. Not nice at all, have always been happy when we’ve eaten in here so I was very disappointed

Came here for set lunch. They have 2 menus £15.95 for 2 courses and a side or £10 for a a main and a side plus £3 for a starter. Different options on each but plenty of choice and one of the best set lunch menus I've had. We had onion bhaji, chicken lollipops and chat bombs to start. Mains were 2 x butter chicken and chicken shaslick plus 2 rices and a naan. Full size portions and the food was fantastic. Have been out all week for different lunches and dinners celebrating my partners birthday and this was my favourite meal. Our waiter Dikshay was brilliant. very professional and courteous and always had a big smile. We will definitely be back.

Biryani was dreadful, why is it so difficult to get a really good biryani in the UK? I've been to so many restaurants in the UK, and can count on one hand those which are anywhere near as delicious as you get in India. They're always completely lacking in any robust, complex flavours. Bread was a touch undercooked. Starters were the star of the show. Pleasant interior.

Went here as a large booking. Food was nice but having eaten in the other Rasoi it was not as good as usual. It is pricey but usually worth the price but on this occassion i felt it was over priced for the quality. Still beats most indian restaurants but not the 5* it usually is.

Unfortunately we had to wait over 2hrs for our meals (as deliveroo was prioritised). When we asked for a round of drinks to offset the inconvenience, it was a straight up “no” from what appeared to be the manager. After a while, he came back, and we were then offered a free shot, so we requested a baileys or whiskey…to be then told, that wasn’t a shot…. just tequila, which we politely declined. Really strange customer service. I don’t often write bad reviews but if you are hungry, in a rush, or would like the waiter to remember to put your order into the kitchen, this place probably isn’t the one.

Good food, excellent service. Shahi paneer and mushroom rice was awesome. Chicken biryani is only average. Chilli chicken is also a must try.

Awful experience gets order completely wrong and never do anything about it tells you to go through just eat and then they do nothing. Waste of space

The starters were missing and the £18.50 mixed grill is in the photo so you can judge that yourself. Called the restaurant and told them that I’ve put a claim in for the missing food (starters) through deliveroo but was unhappy about the quality and portion of the £18.50 mix grill. They were no help and just said the manager is not here. I don’t mind paying good money for good food but this is awful. My advice would be to avoid completely

Second time here as a lone diner. Great atmosphere, great staff and the food is lovely. Service a bit slower than other places, but it’s worth the wait. My go to when staying in Swansea with work

The food was delivered through deliveroo all the chicken tikka masala which did not taste like chicken tikka masala and was very cold naan bread very thin and cold chips cold rice cold everything was cold deliverable did nothing to help

the delivery guy got lost. the ordered 2pcs naan bread was just a whole cut into 2. chicken tikka masala was missing. rang the restaurant and the guy said he will send the refund. until now there's no progress of action.

This is the place where I have seen the most disrespectful manager. I was shocked when I saw the way he disrespected delivery drivers

Driver collected food but didn't deliver. Phoned restaurant was told it wasn't their problem. Disgraceful service. Unable to claim a refund from them or just eat.

A really nice Indian restaurant. Their lunch menu is especially very good value, the food is great. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the mood for Indian food.

Lovely place, slow service. The food looks so good online but was disappointing. I went to eat there with friends on my birthday in December. No one really ate. I forgot to take pictures of the food. However, I did get a cake slice which was really nice of the staff.

Excellent food, and although we were late eating, it did not feel rushed. Really interesting take on some classic dishes and amazing flavours. The set deal, although limited in choice, is very good value.

Absolutely great food. We enjoyed all the things we ordered. Met the expectation of authentic Indian cuisine. I was skeptical at first, but definitely a must try after having visited this place. Some of the dishes were exceptionally well. Thumbs up!

Really enjoyed the lollipop chicken, and the samosa chaat was incredible, almost ordered another one straight away. Unfortunately there was clearly an issue with our order as only my starter arrived, so had to eventually ask what was going on after waiting a while and the waiter apologised, so we got our other starters 5-10 mins after. Unfortunately, it wasn't just starters there was an issue with, our mains clearly hadn't been ordered properly either, as we must have sat for 45-60 mins after finishing our starters waiting for mains that never arrived before we had to complain again. Tables around us who arrived much later than we did had received their food in the interim. When the food arrived, the Lamb biryani wasn't terribly flavorful, definitely wouldn't order biryani again, and while the makhani sauce was amazing, it was only an incredibly miserable thin smear in the little tin it arrived in, amounting to two tablespoonfuls. The butter chicken was pleasant, but felt the flavour could have been punchier. Panchratna was ok, but again, flavour could be more robust. The special chips were nice, but I'd probably prefer them without the sauce next time. I know it doesn't sound like it, but I did really like the food overall, the highs outweighed the lows, and I'm looking forward to returning again, the food is pleasantly different from the majority of Indian restaurants you find in Swansea. Unfortunately there were some serious problems in service, surely if a customer tells you starters didn't arrive, you'd make sure there isn't a problem with the mains too. I don't know how we ended up with such major problems in both parts of service.

Awful food. It was cold when it came. Chicken was tough and hardly any sauce. Won't be ordering from there again. Very disappointing especially for the price!!

Not a Indian restaurant, more a fast food restaurant, had only just started starter and our mains were placed on our table ,no atmosphere at all . No seafood on the menu no king prawns ,music was modern western, need to have a look at the running of this place John Coan widnes

Went for a valentines dinner. It was lovely. I would definitely recommend this Indian restaurant.

Turned up on time to collect. Waited an additional 30 minutes. There was a dish missing from my order when I got home. Food tasty, but a bad experience.

Shocking front of house service. I didn't book so was waiting for a table. I changed my mind to get a take away. The waiter couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge me after I said I wanted to order to go. The reception area smelt bad too. Not a good experience.
