Our waitress Amy delivered outstanding service. She was very polite, and quick to tend. The food was phenomenal, the best Indian restaurant that I have been to. Could not recommend enough!

Outstanding food and service here. The chutney tray left my tastebuds tingling, along with the masala chips! Our waitress was Amy, who was incredibly welcoming and delivered outstanding service. The location was beautiful and perfect for a date night.

I had a fabulous lunch here today. From the 2 courses for £15.95 lunch menu I ordered the chilli chicken starter and the mixed grill with a £4 supplement. The chilli chicken was very disappointing, a blob of dried out, deep fried (probably frozen) battered chicken pieces in a dense sauce which was mostly ketchup and lots of sugar. No chilli that I could taste, yuk! The mixed grill saved the day owing to the skill of the tandoori master. The lamb chop was good, the shish was good but the 4 large pieces of chicken tikka were probably the nicest I have ever eaten. Cooked absolutely to perfection and not a moment more... tender, juicy, spiced chicken. Fantastic, thank you chef!

Took my mother out for a belated birthday meal on BHM (she was in hospital for her birthday). Went to Rasoi Waterfront . It was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff were too. Polite, helpful and patient. Patient, as I didn't realise they stopped food between 3pm and 5pm and we didn't arrive until 2:40pm. They didn't rush us and told us to enjoy and take our time. Definitely on one of my best experiences.

Yasemin was an excellent server, she was very friendly and helpful. She made our visit even more pleasant. Thank you Yasemin!

Fantastic food, everything very good, and the service was super attentive and super pleasant. Raz will serve you quickly and giving off a lot of good vibes and joy, Kinga (I'm sure it's spelled wrong, forgive me) is a beautiful waitress who will always be aware of what you need and will explain everything to you, she also speaks Spanish ;) and Silvana (forgive me also if it's spelled wrong) will always serve you with the most beautiful smile in all of Swansea. It was a pleasure to have known this place and I am very grateful to the entire team.

Had a lovely family meal at this restaurant. Food was lovely. Had to wait a bit as our table was still been used by the previous customers but we were provided with complimentary popadoms & chutney tray for the delay. Razvan was a great host and made sure we were ok throughout the meal. Such a nice guy. We will definitely eat here again.

Had the lunchtime offer which is an absolute bargain. £15.95, starter, main and 1 side. Can add a dessert for £3 which would normally cost £6.90. A very warm welcome from the staff, absolutely spotlessly clean and lovely decor. A really good choice of meals for the lunchtime special and big portions. Food was delicious and I will definitely be returning to Rasoi.

We had a leisure trip to Swansea and had our dinner at Rasoi. The ambience , food quality and service was excellent. Special thanks to Yasmin for providing us excellent service and really appreciate her personal attention to our table and taking care of our food choices. We will surely come back again . Highly recommended

Honestly can't fault the food..but we arrived at our booking time.was seated.waited over 20mins before anyone came to us to take drinks order..then another 20mins before they took our food order..which took an hour to get to our table literally...we asked for the bill..to be told abruptly we need to leave the table as they need to set it for another party..really...I won't be in a rush to be going back with friends

Family were visiting from England, there was no doubt that Rasoi was where we should dine for our final night and the team did not disappoint! Food was great as always, the set menu provided a great variety and the portion size was bigger than we had expected, a lot of food also going home with us from the meal! The service from Yaz and Shivana was impeccable, they really made our visit special! Thank you so much for a great time with my family!

Really beautiful interior decor, a lovely atmosphere. Staff were attentive and made you feel welcome. The service was great. The food....you'd be doing well to find better, full of taste and massive portions. Highly recommend the Lamb Desi and Biryani.

Very good food for the price, nice atmosphere could do with a bigger selection of drinks but the highlight of the night was the service Razvan was excellent possibly the best service I've had in a long time

I can use a word to sum up this restaurant- Class ! Called in on Easter Saturday for the lunch menu ( £15.95 for two courses) The food was excellent. We had poppadoms and chutney to begin, then starters of spicy chicken and onion bhajis, mains of chicken tikka wrap ( with chips) and chicken jalfrezi with pilau rice. Every dish was first class. The restaurant itself is very nicely furnished and the staff we encountered were great. Special mention for Raz, who had a great sense of humour and pulled a great pint of Cobra Highly recommended !

Paid a £40 deposit for Mothers Day lunch and sadly I came down with a stomach bug. I called when they opened at 12pm and explained that I obviously couldn’t make it or I’d make all of the staff there sick and offered to rebook. They still said I’d lose the deposit and wouldn’t apply it to my new booking or even a takeaway. I’ve been a loyal customer to Rasoi for many years and was really disappointed with their lack of empathy and indifference to their customers. I won’t be going here again.

First visit to Rasoi and i was impressed. Lovely friendly attentive staff. Food was amazing, served quickly, but not rushed in any way. Spacious place with beautiful decor. Reasonably priced with an excellent choice on the menu. Really enjoyed.

Always good food at Rasoi, the best Indian restaurant in Swansea! Loved having the option of king prawn curry as opposed to chicken or lamb. Yasemin provided amazing service, although it was a busy Friday night, we didn’t wait long for anything that we ordered :)

We ordered food through online. The biryani was pathetic. It was the worst biryani I've ever tasted. My wife and my son became sick after eating that food. The mutton was not cooked properly there was no spices added to the biryani. The rice was not basmati. It was smelling like spoiled food. The curry was tasting sweet. How come an Indian restaurant does not know how to make a proper biryani. The price was too high. Very very disappointed. The 5 stars that are given are not real. The restaurant should change the cook or the recipe. Not at all worth it.

On a recent lunch visit, we booked the last seating time slot. Set menu with two courses, great value and absolutely delicious opted to pay for an additional side. Good size portions Definitely visit again purely for the starter alone ... We had samosa chaat with mains butter chicken pilau rice and a portion of chunky chips. No photos as I couldn't wait to tuck in

I have tried biriyani in many indian restaurants in Swansea, but Rasoi took first place for lamb biriyani. Decent taste. Served very hot 😊. ----------- 26/02/2025------- Been there today and ordered Panner Bites - Taste was good and very crispy Tandoori panner tikka - Very tasty and soft. The sause came with chicken tikka is delicious 😋 mixed Veg curry - taste was ok because it was little sweet. Mango lassi - good taste but little more sweet. Naans - They were tasty and soft.

I’ve been to the restaurant twice and each time the food, and service was amazing. Staff are warm, welcoming, prompt and professional. Very fast service and delicious food. Cocktail menu does not disappoint. On the second occasion I ate at the restaurant was for a joint birthday meal, the restaurant gave birthday drink vouchers for a free drink which was nice. I’d 100% recommend this restaurant

A pathetic experience for the first time in my life. Went for a dessert and tea and the attitude of the employee who came to take the order when we only ordered additional was appalling. Then 1 min later the manager whose name was Sylvio came and said we have only 45 mins to eat as its a busy night. nothing was mentioned in the policy or on the websitethat you cant order only a few things that means come with a few bitcoins to the restaurant. Look at the pictures 70% of the places are empty and thats a pathetic attitude. So if you come for a drink and snack make sure you keep the car waiting outside as they can kick you outany minute without any remorse.

We booked a table online for ourselves and guests from another city and ordered tea and desserts. Nothing was mentioned on the website that ordering food from main menu was required or you can’t just have tea and/or desserts. As we ordered, right away the attitude of the person taking the order got awkward and then the manager (Silvio) followed coming to table saying that since we didn’t order any food from main menu so we must leave the table in 45 minutes. Absolutely absurd!!! Nothing of the sort was mentioned on the website nor in their policy. They embarrassed me in front of my guests and this is completely unacceptable to me. More over the manager said it’s not a dessert shop and he can make policies that suit the restaurant. I am stunned by the arrogance of staff in this restaurant and did not expect any gutter level nonsense from a supposedly well run restaurant like this…. Did I add that the restaurant was more than half empty!

Wel, what an experience from the start to finish. The staff are extremely pleasant and inviting. The atmosphere is second to none. The food is high quality and so tasty. Fantastic experience.

Gorgeous food, quickly delivered

I ordered takeaway and am only rating the food. While the food was tasty, it didn’t stand out from other curry houses in terms of flavor on this occasion. The portion sizes were quite small considering the prices. We ended up spending over £100, which included a chutney tray. We also ordered one poppadom, thinking it was a single portion, but they sent just one lonely poppadom—felt a bit ridiculous for the price. Overall, not impressed and won’t be returning.

Amazing venue, very disappointed the waitress had my order wrong, they did say they would change my dish but I went with what I received rather than waiting. The main issues use the tables for two people are too close together, all I heard was the gentleman next to me talking constantly to his date (I know both there life stories), he was a very loud person which also didn't help. The experience wasn't great and couldn't wait to leave there.

A very enjoyable curry on the Swansea waterfront. Great food, great value

I ordered Chicken Jalfrezi and a portion of chips. The order was about 40-odd minutes late, the chips were cold and mushy, the actual jalfrezi tasted like it was made of canned ingredients rather than fresh ones. Not worth the price, sorry :(

Service was excellent and the location is great for a family meal. Overall the food was great enjoyable. Let down by expensive pricing compared to other restaurants. We ordered less rice due to the pricing of the dishes.

Nice decco & vibes. Service was just okay, very slow though. Food is a let down, I don't get what the hype is about. Doesn't taste authentic, and may even be watered-down curry? You guys that enjoy the food here thinking it's good Indian food, are really missing out lol.

Very expensive for the amount of food given , was expecting larger portion for cost.personally feel basic rice option should be included with curry that cost £12.99 .

Unfortunately very average. Arrived at 7.30pm (22/11/24) and shown to our table. Order taken but staff seemed very indifferent. Poppadoms and chutnies arrived quickly but mains took over 1 hour and during that time no staff members came near to take drink orders etc. Food was excellent but again we were just left alone. Couldn't be bothered waiting to order desserts and even when we asked for the bill it took 15 minutes. Pity as the food was great if on the expensive side which wouldn't be an issue if the service had matched the food.

This restaurant took £45 out of my partners account for items to be the delivered. They never arrived we called the restaurant they said not their problem as their drivers didn’t do the delivery. No food £45 down and not happy

Chips cold, chxiken in curry was lukewarm

My friends and I dined here this week and from the moment we entered till we left, service was outstanding. The ambiance, decor and menu does not disappoint and you’re well looked after. Three of us were given a table with booth style upright seats in the centre of the restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and the themed Indian fusion has traditional authentic dishes and a few that were new to me. The Desi lamb for example, I’d never heard of. Lamb slow cooked in homemade garam masala sauce. This is had to try along with mushroom rice. My starter was the delicious samosa chat. Crunchy Punjabi samosa served with channa masala topped with chutneys, bujia and pomegranate. We had the mandatory poppadoms with chutney, mint sauce, spiced tomato and mango dips. My friends had the onion bhaji and tikka jingha, (king prawns, marinated coated with a mix of black and white sesame seeds) Mains were chicken pathia ( tangy and spicy tomato sauce) and murgh malai methi (chicken cooked with fenugreek and mixed spices, a creamy and flavourful dish) both opted for pilau rice. All meals were tasty, delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were plentiful and served in adequate time. What really impressed me besides everything else was the shared bread selection. This was an assortment of warm naan, roti and garlic butter wrapped naans. Melt in your mouth delicious tasting and we cleared the plate! Drinks were non alcoholic lagers and soft drinks as we all unfortunately were driving. A shame as the cocktail menu looked great. Our servers were courteous, attentive, well presented and very professional. Deserts were raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake and the Magnum brownie. All excellent, we tipped generously to show our gratitude.

Booked our table for 7 o’clock . We arrived a little earlier than expected. We were told our table wasn’t ready and told to wait in a holding area . The table was ready at 7.30 !! At no time were we kept updated. We had to keep asking . When we were eventually shown to our table , things seemed to get worse . We ordered our food . The starters arrived , then there was an hours delay before the main’s arrived and that was because we had to chase a member of staff , who turned around and said oh are you ready? Two members of our party sent their food back because it was lukewarm !!! And my chops were cremated !!! It seemed like the staff had an attitude and just couldn’t be bothered. NOT A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE !! On this experience, i wouldn’t recommend you at all .
