Very disappointed and therefore expensive too. Tandoori chicken was okay once I scraped the onion sauce off but biryani was wet and salty, I couldn't eat more then a few mouthfuls.

Great food and friendly service from all staff members. Would recommend to anyone looking for high quality and reasonably priced food in the Swansea area.

I came to Swansea to visit family and spent the week here. I was craving Indian food and came across this takeaway and I’m so glad I ordered from here. You have to try Zo’s special and the garlic chilli chicken it is unbelievable!! Check these guys out! I’m always coming here again!

We were recommended by the barmaid in the local pub, absolutely fantastic. Only problem wish I ordered two naan breads for each dish as they are a little bit small. Apart from that, fantastic and would go back.

What a delicious 🤤 experience I had in mint of mumbles. Cannot express enough how amazing the new owner was as well as the staff.. they couldn’t do more for us. The food was absolutely outstanding. We loved each and every dishes. I have ordered from this take away many times and they did not disappoint once. My favourite was mint special garlic chilli chicken was mouth watering.., starter the sharing platter was more than enough for 4 people. I would highly recommend this take away to anyone who loves a good Indian meal 🥘

Staff are fantastic, food is absolutely delicious, portions are very generous. Best Indian I’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommend a visit.

I wasn’t sure about this place to be honest, after looking at the menu. You choose your protein and then choose your sauce, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the portion sizes generous. Ordered online and found there was a 10% discount code that could be applied. They allowed you to order and pay cash upon collection, although they did still charge a processing fee which had a credit card symbol next to it. Also, it was compulsory to buy the bag that was added to the order with no option to take your own. Once ordered they will email you to confirm acceptance of the order and collection time. We only ordered main courses, but it was ready just over 20 minutes later. Gluten Free was no problem. Could not fault anything. In the window it says they are awaiting their Food Standards Rating but I checked on line, and it is 5 stars. They have also posted this on Facebook now.

Just had a fantastic meal from Mint Of Mumbles. Everything was cooked fresh. The shop is bright and clean. The food was of top quality and mouth watering. Portion sizes are really good too. Will be back soon for more.

Staff were very helpful and answered all of our queries (we did have quite a few 😂😂). Food was great and wait time was also no issue. They have a pair of very comfortable sofas to chill on whilst you wait anyway. If you're in the Mumbles, be sure to check em out!

We have used Mint since it opened, enjoying high quality food and friendly, obliging staff. However, the meal we ordered this evening was not up to the high standard we have previously experienced, particularly given the increased prices!

Tasty and a great curry. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. The option to have chicken tikka meat with other curries meant more flavour and a lovey touch to the meal. We collected based on the other reviews about delivery. The order was complete as well. The meat was of good quality which normally is a worry. Food wasn’t overly greasy. Only minor criticism would be the website isn’t the easiest to navigate and use.

Unimpressed with the service from Mint in mumbles, placed an order for a family meal and get together which was a complete let down due to Mint forgetting to give us the full order. We called to let them know about the error and they informed us they would deliver the missing meal but this took them over an hour when the address was only 5 minutes away by car. Completely unprofessional and will not be ordering food from here again, my advice to anyone who does is double check the complete order is there before leaving as they will not be in a hurry to rectify their mistakes. Spice in West Cross will get all of my future business from now on.

Visiting the mumbles on holiday and fancied a takeaway curry. One of the BEST takeaway curry’s we have had. I had a chicken tikka pathia which was brilliant and my girlfriend had paneer tikka which she also loved. Oh and the chana saag was awesome!

Very disappointed. The food was terrible. Arrived 1hr 35mins in- 40 mins late. The food was inedible and had to be thrown away. No taste at all..devoid of a single flavour or spice. Base is just water. Meat was dry and overcooked. 1st and definitely last time shall order here.

This take away WAS a revelation when we first started having food from them several years back.Their meals WERE superb,couldn’t fault them they couldn’t be bettered. Their meals WERE always consistently high quality.Unfortunately the last 4 times have been disappointing,not inedible,but a far cry from their previous culinary excellence. Now their offerings only even approaches average & taste like bland super market ready meals.We used them a few more times even though noticing the quality had dropped significantly thinking it was a one off but having had several more consistent disappointment’s It is now safe to say they aren’t as good as they were & this is the standard of fayre they are happy to serve.Our recent meals were bland & lacking previous quality.I can only think it must be a change of chef because when you are accustomed to the same dish from the same outlet it is easy to taste the difference. Everyone has an off day when they aren’t up to par but not as consistently as we’ve experienced.It’s a real shame & we are Really disappointed because they were so good for so long but don’t feel inclined to reorder from them again.Any one recommend an excellent take away that honor quality & consistency.

Extremely disappointed with takeaway. Sorry to say because we have had lovely food from there before. Chicken tikka starter was very dry, it certainly wasn't fresh . Mint saag special was not good at all . The monkfish was also dry and the sauce was bland and lumpy. The king prawn dansak was hot , but not sweet and sour as it should be and there was hardly any sign of lentils. The meal cost £40. If we had been presented with it in a restaurant it would have been sent back. It took 1 1/2 hours to arrive which wouldn't have mattered if it had tasted good, if they were too busy to take our order they should not have accepted it. We will not be ordering from there again.

Hummmm... Kebab was tasty but lacked the ordered salad and a bit small, Goa prawn was watery with little coconut flavour !

Nice cozy take away...Good location in Mumbles...taste was alright...I had vegetarian Indian dishes, so not sure how other meat/non-veg dishes would have tasted...

So disappointed have used Mint quite a few times but recently their meals have just gone downhill! last time we were had a meal from there we were left without several items so this time I called to ensure this did not happen again, unfortunately it did happen again! poor.food quality has also go down hill soggy pompadoms inconsistency with food, same meals different evert time not good.won't be using them again unfortunately.

Visiting the area this week and the weather was putting us off going out so we opted for a curry. We found Mint of Mumbles through a local search and the website was very easy to make selections from. Delivery was also available and received within 30 minutes of order. Stayed at the Carlton Hotel who recommended you. We arrived at 4pm only to find you open at 5. Yet you so kindly took our order & delivered it to the hotel for me due me being disabled. Can I say our food was delicious. Better than we get back home. Give them a try, the food & service are outstanding. Thank you. ❤

The overall experience was very good. The Pilar rice and lamb Rogan josh was excellent. Takkah daal was a little watery but still tasted good.

Delivery service was efficient, but the meal was disappointing. The king prawn dish had very little fish content and the meat in the lamb dish was dry and chewy. Pretty poor value!

Usually go out to for a meal on a Saturday for an Indian, as we are on lock down decided to try mint , as we were told how nice the food is order first week by phone and second week on line payment only , cash only over the phone no problems just gave £ and let driver keep change , the food was excellent and the service to prompt with time the first week of lock down but second week 20 minutes late ,but come on we in times that we never want to be in again , the driver was very apologetic for being late ,all hygiene levels are taken , he will leave at door ring the bell or knock , we take then leave money on door step , can’t fault it , it’s a great pity that they can’t open a restaurant to dine in ,because if they did we be there every week , and mumbles could do with a good Indian restaurant , well done x

Beautiful place, was driving past on a sunny day towards the mumbles pier on a casual day with the friends. Stopped by the Mint for a meal on the way back, what can I say I am glad I stopped as this was the best Indian meal I have ever had with a lovely service to top it. Definitely will be back soon!!

Order week in week out.. don’t normally write reviews however during the current times (lockdown) delivery time was a little higher but as expected - all I can say is the drivers always thank for ordering and waiting longer than usual.. Value for money and tastes great! I always fancy something different and Zo always recommends the best! First time I’ve tired almost a full menu (normally a safe type of person) Keep up the good work guys!

This was our first time ordering from them, so we got stuck in.3 curries, 3 rices, 3 breads, 2 portions of onion bhaji and a tarka dhal.OK, they are not the cheapest, but this is Mumbles.I opted to collect, rather than have the delivery.The food was excellent, all of it. Special mentions go to the tarka dhal and the Zo's special. Our goa chicken and chicken tikka dhansak had some real taste and spice to them. I'll definitely be ordering from them again. I used the online ordering and this is very well laid out.

Have had many great takeaways from here and the food is ready when said. To make it 5 star i would like to see card payments available on the premises (card payments are available for online ordering). Would also like to see recyclable take away trays.

Ordered online for delivery, anticipated delivery was 50mins to 1 hr (I live 1 mile away) no delivery by 1hr 20 mins, rang Mint apparently there were 2 other deliveries before me. This finally arrived 1 hr 40 mins after ordering, cold. Butter chiken was okay but would have tasted better hot (or warm), I had ordered poppadoms, despite a previously disappointing experience when they had clearly sent poppadoms cooked the day before. These were also really bad, greasy and soft. I should have learnt from this. I will not be ordering from them again.

We had a take away delivered from Mint - was absolutely perfect. Just wish we lived nearer! Tho would probably eat food from there every day.

If you ask for a slight change to the menu they say they will do it but they don’t. I like less meat and more sauce-ask the Mint to do that and they give you more meat and less sauce. It’s like hitting your head against a brick wall. I always ordered for my family and not for myself until tonight. I was very disappointed with my meal as it wasn’t what I asked for. They were incapable of putting it right. Only used as only Indian delivery until Spice Grill re-opens. Very disappointed. I wont use again.

Arrived in Limeslade late Sunday evening. We call for a takeaway straight away. They delivered on food time. Food good & large portions. Tandoori chicken very tasty & enough for 2 meals! Will use again.

Staying at the Redcliffe apartments in Caswell, the delivery service was reliable and on time.

When it first opened it was excellent, now they seem to have an established customer base who order regularly like ourselves, they have sadly gone down hill. Recently ordered Chicken Dhansak, Tikka and some chips. The chicken was hard and dry in both meals, the lentils in the Dhansak rock hard and uncooked and the chips seemed to have been cooked several times. This place used to be 5 * , sadly not anymore.

We ordered a curry that cost £65 and they don't take cards. In a world that people expect to pay by debit or credit cards we had so go searching for a cash machine to pay them. Its a selfish way the company puts itself before its customers. We will never go there again for the inconvenience they have put us through. Get in the 21st century. By the time we tracked down a cash machine the curry was cold. If you are considering this place you should go to Mumbai. Great customer service, great curry and they allow people to pay as they want

Asked for a chicken tikka vindaloo and obviously paid for it.when I got home it was a Chicken vindaloo.very disappointed.ask for something and get something else. If you want a very good curry go to the west cross tandoori.won't go back to the mint

We bought 5 different main curry dishes and all of them were very tasty, esp my chicken balti. Good portion size and friendly delivery driver. Order without rice came to about £35. Would have been a nice gesture to include some complimentary popodoms, as some places do.

There are a number of good curry houses in ans around Mumbles but this isn't one of them. If you are after a take away at restaurant prices with rude staff then this one is for you. I have been 3times and the food wuality, service and timeframe seems to be a lotterery. If you area visitor don't take the risk.

We have had several meals from Mint over the past couple of months and there has never been a problem, always delivered on time or earlier! and food was always hot, always enjoyed our meals with no issues to complain about, don't always believe bad reviews! always delivered with a smile!!

Very disappointed, ordered online and told ready in 30 mins. When arrived wait d another 20mins and food given to me, check food absolutely freezing as left on side for too long while waiting to be packed and served. Ordered a large take away from Mint,for me and my group of friends. The order arrived in good time, the food was generous and tasty. All thoroughly enjoyed, will be returning.

We've had a few takeaways from here - one of our localish restaurants that delivers to the door - which is good - albeit incurring a slightly annoying charge of £4 for a route that must go round the houses than direct. Be better if there was some recognition of this in relation to order value which is never less than £30 and often quite a bit more. Same applies to the online ordering charge - only 50p more - but don't see that anywhere else. Prices aren't bad on the whole though.

Visited mint with my Spanish wife who doesn’t like the food to hot they custom made a dish for her which was just perfect for her ,the staff were really friendly great to watch the chefs prepare your food to order really impressed

Good, quick curry, but I found that my online order incurred a 50p administration charge. The take-away agreed to waive it, when I complained.

Thought I would give them another try and consequently ordered a simple chicken madras .that's the last curry from the Mint from me .it was watery and tasteless seems like talking to my friends .they are of the same opinion that its definitely gone downhill
