As always, as absolute delight. Home cooked meals, cakes and scones, all beautifully presented by cheerful staff. Ensure you book though! You don't want to be disappointed.

The Tea house is a lovely spot ,set in the nursery. You can either sit inside or outside amongst the beautiful flowers. We come regularly for lunch or a cuppa. After you can browse the plants on sale and enjoy the beautiful setting. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A real jem.

Found this Lovely traditional garden centre at Little Bytham. Not over priced like many nurseries these days. Super old fashioned tea shop. Will definitely return regularly.

The full English breakfast is my favourite! Not too large, customisable and very tasty! All cooked freshly to order. The cakes and brownies are also great as a little extra too...Service is great, would highly recommend.

It's a lovely little nursery and the tea room is excellent too. The best chocolate cake and a lovely cup of tea. The rest of the menu looked good too and I'll be back. Thank you.

Don't go if you cycle. Now cycles have to be left near the entrance and cannot be seen from eating area. Takeaways cannot be eaten ANYWHERE on site, including the car park. Hence, you are not trusted with a tray or any cutlery to eat your scone with while you stay in the car park with your bike. Dogs are also not allowed so be aware that any cycling dogs don't stand a chance.

We visited Rasell’s nurseries whilst staying near to Stamford. It is at Little Bytham, just north of Stamford and is the best hidden gem! There are beautiful borders surrounding the car park, stuffed with mature shrubs and perennials, most of which the nursery sells inside. There is an incredible choice of healthy, well grown plants at very reasonable prices. Many of the varieties are more unusual and definitely not those you’d find in more commercial retailers.... We were like kids in a sweet shop and barely got all our plants in the car! The restaurant is fantastic too. Food and staff are superb and there is also locally produced honey for sale. Recommended for a day out with refreshments, Make sure you have plenty of room in your car before you set off though!!

Visited the Jolly Brewer In Stamford for the first time today, And met Tony and the staff very warm and welcoming pub and the open fire was happy surprise specially as it was cold, The beers are very well kept especially the Guinness probably one of the best in the area and the home-made food Was outstanding and very reasonable price , Will definitely be visiting again next time I’m in Stamford and recommending to friends and family

Very nice spot for a lunch in a busy market square in a lovely town - where we wanted somewhere independent and with a bit of character. Found a table outside which was a perfect holiday moment spot. Good choice of sandwiches, good coffee. Best part though was climbing the stairs to the top floor of the ancient building to find the loo.

This was always our go to place for brunch and we were regular visitors Last two times… Had quiche and salad - quiche bottom was soggy and inedible, informed waitress who said that she would tell the chef and that’s likely to happen with the type of filling… ok soo stuff happens On next visit had soup and it was tasteless, no one came to check how the meal was and not possible to stop someone as busy busy. Ate the bread and left the soup. Mentioned it wasn’t good and couldn’t eat it when we paid, just said “oh sorry about that” And carried on We paid in full but was more disappointed in the way our feedback was taken… eg dismissed. could def be improved upon… same waitress both times Sadly we haven’t been back

We were warmly welcomed by Casey, who talked us through the menu options, checking if we had any allergies. We selected the mango & lime chicken breast with homemade slaw, spinach and rice. Beautifully cooked and thoroughly enjoyable. We are unable to fault the the way we were welcomed and served by Casey, the quality and value of the food. We entered when they opened and hence, were the only patrons, so rated the atmosphere as okay. In passing, the choice of background music was very enjoyable.
