Have been going to this bakery for years and everything you buy is delicious. The bread is the best and so are all the parties sweet and savoury. You will find it very hard to find anything better

I visited here on Tuesday before i drove back to Manchester. There isn't a bakery like this up north and i must admit i went a little overboard on the purchases as i didn't know when i would have the chance again to visit. Everything was so tasty, i couldn't fault it. Also you'll be happy to know Chris that i managed to get the Rose ice cream all the way to Manchester without it melting :)

My husband bought me a cake there over weekend which just put in the bin as it was tasteless , old dry sponge , and cannot be cut . I am very disappointed as waited whole for my cake. My foot will never set there again.

Popped in at Raphael's on a recommendation for nice koubes, We were delighted that there was a fresh batch just prepared. The owner/manager was helpful and was our server who was jovial. The koubes were very tasty, with good texture and colour, they were adorned by my family who rarely get to eat them as we live in East Midlands where these are hard to find. The galadoboureko was amazing, my favourite greek sweet pastry and this was the best I have ever eaten. The sesame bread sticks were also great. Highly recommend. They only accept cash payments.

Very friendly staff, always welcoming and efficient. Lovely, tasty, generous savoury selection. Better than Wilton’s in Southgate for savoury and better pricing. But Wilton’s still better for cakes. Tasty Koubes and bread. Totally recommend for all savoury products.

We love going for halloumi and lounza toasted sandwiches, koubes, flaounes which are Cypriot delicious pastries, ice creams, coffees and cakes, there is just so much freshly made.

We usually love everything at Rahaels but lately things seemed to have changed. We ordered food for a gathering and to be honest wish we hadn’t bothered. A couple of the dishes seemed stale. I thought I was the only one to notice but when others started commenting. I knew it wasn’t my imagination. A couple of things were his usual great tasting / quality, but on the whole found the food disappointing. The young man that served us was very nice and polite but everyone else was inattentive and made you feel like they were doing you a favour by serving you. Considering it’s quite an expensive bakery, you would expect better food and service.

Great place to meet with friends for coffee or take away tasty pastries and cakes. We always buy our birthday cakes from there.

We visited Raphael’s Bakery & Patisserie the week before the Greek Orthodox Easter to try the ‘flaounes’, a Cypriot Easter speciality. We were made very welcome by Despina and Katia who treated us to a lovely coffee and small olive savoury pastries. We tasted the ‘flaounes’ which we found delightful. We bought 5 to take with us. The shop was very bright and tastefully decorated with a good selection of cakes, pastries, bread and ice cream. It was worth the journey from South London to Cockfosters tube station which is only 3 minutes walk away from the bakery. We will definitely visit again if only to treat ourselves to a coffee and the livery treats.

This is a Greek bakery/patisserie/cafe patronised by extraordinary numbers of Greek people. We love it for excellent coffee not made in a "barista machine", beautiful pastries and savouries and the friendliest service imaginable.

The fresh baked pastries are just too good.A wonderful selection of cakes as well. Vasilopita cakes,olive pies, koupes- all made perfectly. Helpful staff, friendly place. Can sit and enjoy coffee with your pastries.Clean and modern.Cakes /patisseries beautifully displayed. Parking available outside. A must visit for sure.

Having been here numerous times I can say without hesitation they are one of, if not the best Greek bakers for miles around. The fresh pastries are always a delicious delight, a traditional toasted long bread roll also excellent, breads and cakes to die for. I cannot comment on the big family/event size cakes as my experience is limited to the eat there and take home level. The family that run this place are always very polite and authentically happy to serve you. They enjoy their work and it really is evident in the service and the food. If you are gluten intolerant I doubt you will find much here at all.

We have a pre-order for our party booked for over a month. Ralph had booked it in. His customer service was brilliant and helped with everything to us tasting the food before booking and insuring that my fiancée's allergies were catered for with the order. We confirmed a pick up time of around 3pm. Then 2 days before the party we spoke to Chris his service was appalling. He made it quite clear he didn't want the order and pretty much forced us to cancel it. He said that we would be unable to collect until 6pm. That is collect impossible with a party that evening. He also insisted that it could be no earlier and no later than 6 otherwise he would not be there. I feel so let down as the order was half of the food for my party which I now have to come up with replacements for 2 days before. I mentioned the allergies from the beginning to be sure it would cause no problem and assured that it would be fine until now. I can't comment on the taste of the food however the sample I tried was lovely.
